When I rotate my phone my screen rotates upside down. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Are you rooted, running a custom rom? If so is it the right rom for your variant? I had that same problem with my epic 4g touch when I flashed an international rom by accident. If you are running stock I would try a reboot or a factory data reset. If that doesnt work I would take it to your carrier and have them look at it.
I'm rooted but still on stock. I've tried everything except factory reset. Just backed up my user apps to do the reset, thanks..

I just tried to flash my phone with the preroot GB flash and it installed and when I rebooted my phone my touch screen will not work. so I tried to flash it back with the sbf and now im at the activation screen but the touch screen wont work. Any advice of what I can do?
try booting into stock system recovery and doing a data format and then try booting.

i believe most if not all of us occasionally lose touch responsivness until the screen is turned off and back on which only takes 2 seconds. But this problem is different of course...possibly related...

Thanks mike.
Ive been dealing with this same issue for atleast 5 hours now and im tired of sbf'ing............idk what to do.......
I booted into stock recovery and did a data reset and its still doesn't work. If I did a SBF will verizon be able to tell it was rooted? I don't want charged for a new phone I might just soak this one in some water.

Is you phone charging? I had the same problem, but when I unplugged from charger all worked well (until I plugged it back in). I unplugged, went into recovery, factory reset, then did SBF and presto changeo, My phone responded to my touch
Also...
I have sent many phones back to Verizon, still rooted, and have NEVER been charged. When I call I do not tell them it was rooted. With SBF, as long as you cleared data/Factory reset first, there will be no indication it was rooted ever.
my phone is charging I unplugged it and im going to do a factory reset with out it plugged in and see what happens
Thread moved to proper forum since this is not android development.
still nothing
Hardware problem, get a replacement

i still can't get mine to do anything either.......................and i thought i had good phone because i have NEVER had 1 single problem out of it like all these other people on these forums......
I have a replacement on its way. So tomorrow ill be up and running I think ill just wait for GB to come from verizon this time.
Ok to start, this is my 3rd phone. (Since March 4th)
This one and the last one kept bootlooping. I am running bone stock and locked.
The past 2 phones I noticed signal issues, so I pulled the battery and rebooted the phone. It would boot, the htc screen would come up, the 4g screen and beats screen would do their things. Lockscreen came up and as soon as I unlocked, it would shut off and turn on again. I could not even get to to where I could reset.
I was able to boot into hboot (I think that's what's its called). And was able to do a factory reset. This is the second phone i have had to do this too. The last one I returned and got another refurb.
Should I send this one back too? Is like to flash a Rom, maybe even an ics one. Just worried that I won't be able to get it back to somewhat stock if it crashes again.
If I flash a Rom, then do factory reset, it won't change the radios and whatnot back to facrory, correct?
I hate getting my phone all set up.perfectly, then have to reset, and get a new refurb one.
Pain in the you know what.

A friend of mine has the HTC EVO 3d X515a she came to me today because I am the workplace tech nerd. She is having an issue with her HTC on the bottom 10% of the screen only on the call screen.
If she moves to any other program or screen everything works fine. I was going to suggest a factory reset or a recovery rom. But I wanted to check with the experts who are more familiar with this specific device.
Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated.
Currently she has to hit home, then drag the notifications screen down and hang the call up from there. If she try's to hang it up the screen refuses to respond.
*EDIT* I forgot to mention this phone is on stock and not rooted.
It might be the digitizer but it's strange that it's only on the call screen...

Perhaps clear cache and dalvich cache in recovery and also fix permissions after.
It won't erase anything on the phone or touch her data.

Yeah sounds like the digitizer is bad. Try flashing the rooted stock rom along with the stock kernel and see if that helps.
Sorry perhaps I should mention this is on stock and unrooted so its not a custom rom issue. Should I flash the stock rom in factory recovery? or go the whole root process.
My phone isn't rotating or recognizing that I'm tilting it during games. I just got the phone. I made sure auto rotate is on and I went to g sensor and the bubbles are stuck in place

Maybe try a different rom. If it still doesn't work it could be a hardware issue.

Yep, if you are rooted, try a different rom, and be sure to fully wipe. If you are not rooted, do a factory reset. If neither of those clear it up, then it's a hardware failure, take it back to where you got it.
So one day out of the blue, my phone starts acting weird. I think hey no big deal, and I just go on to restart the darn thing. When it boots up it acting normal again, but then I start to get a phone call. No big deal I answer it, but when I go to hang up it is still stuck at the point I answered it. With the answer or decline button. I think to myself to reinstall the rom again. Do that same problem still going on... I install another rom same problem two roms later same problem even after flashing a stock rooted rom.. Now here is my real question what do you think is my problem? I went from cm 10.1 working fine, to an older cm10.1 then fresh rom 3.5 then stock. With the stock rom it would boot all the way to the home screen then restart. But on my cm 10 it would boot up fine act normal then when screen timer turned the screen off it would be stuck off not like frozen the lights at the bottom would cut on but not the screen, and I'd also hear it click off.
Any ideas or is this just something for sprint tep to handle?
More information is needed to even begin to answer.
S-on or S-off, recovery version, clean or dirty flash? Take a look at the sticky for rooting and flashing roms to ensure you are doing the right processes etc.
