Cannot connect to ADB

I am having a problem with my MAXX where if i type in adb devices, i get no devices connected. Because of this, i cannot root this phone
(Yes, i have the drivers installed)
Can anyone help?
Stupid question but have you adb debugging enabled on the device?
did you restart the computer after installing drivers? i had the same problem and a restart fixed it for me
Is the usb debugging enabled?
If you are on win, is the driver properly installed?
Its better to have your phone in "charge only" mode while connected to the pc....

Recovery bootloop without usb debugging enabled

Hello, I have soft bricked my Transformer Prime. I am currently in the recovery boot loop and cannot get into adb shell to unbrick it.
For some reason, my computer has deleted the drivers for my prime and since I do not have USB debug enabled, my comp doesnt recognize my TP when plugged in. I am trying to install drivers from my phone and then replace with the universal naked beta drivers but my computer keeps telling me that my drivers are up to date. I hate windows. Any advice?

Can't access phone from computer

After installing Cyanogenmod for the first time, my phone is no longer recognized by my computer. My computer registers that something is plugged in, but that's it. I can't even access my phone from ADB in the console. I have also made sure that my phone is on MTP mode and USB debugging is turned on. What do I do?

Click to collapse
go here and install both drivers for your system and see if that helps.
in the future, please dont make another thread because no one replied to your first. you are allowed to "bump" your thread once per day if need be, to bring attention to it.

Adb unauthorized

Hi, i've tryied to install andromeda with substratum but when i enable usb debug wont show any autorization dialog and "adb devices" says "unauthorized".
I've tryied to revoke permission deatch and reattach the cable or disable and re enable debug mode, but nothing to do
Did you get some kind of message on the phone about the connection needing you to accept it? I enabled usb debuging and adb wasn't authorized. I looked at the phone and it had a message I need to click on about a trusted connection or something and once I did that adb connected and did what I needed.
I was able to install - got the ADB pop up about devices - clicked and then installed the Andromeda ap (after installing substratum) my problem is that I can't get the Sumbstratum themes to stick - not sure what I am dong wrong - probably user error...but anyway - good luck getting yours connected.
Solved with other pc
What if we are not able to use anothe PC for the process?
How can we reset the ADB log in the PC that was refused in the first place?
Thanks!
