I've been testing with a variety of flash drives; some mount; some are not recognized; some show up as damaged SD card. Is there a size limit for flash drives? Could it be my cheap-o OTG cable? Any suggestions?

Hey guys !
Whenever i plug in my 4GB usb stick into the phone (using usb otg cable) i get an error Usb storage damaged, please format. A month ago it worked perfectly now all of sudden i've got this error. It does work on the pc and i already formatted it countless times, even used different formats (ntsf, fat, fat 32, exfat ...).

Anyone have solution for this, I try formatting the usb with minitools partition wizard with fat32 but still damage. On ESFileexplorer name usb is usb10002.

Try formatting via the Android itself.
On redmi 3 note storage i've not found formatting usb storage
Use twrp mount usb org and format from there.
what usb otg flash drive do you use?
