S-OFF Question, please help solve this! - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Ok so I'm not sure how my phone reverted back from the 1.22 ota back to 1.13, however that's not the issue. I have inserted a screenshot of my build number and baseband version. It shows that I am currently running 1.13, but when I go to run Lazy Panda, it still says "can not find the panda". What would be the cause of this? If it matters, I am running on MeanRom as well. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like your running a Rom based off of 1.13. If you updated your firmware via HTC then the panda will not be able to find some bamboo. The only way to get s-off is rooted running stock, on previous hboot version.
sent from my EVO LTE with it's security flags down.

1.22 firmware is not the same thing as 1.22 ROM. Once you apply the OTA, and the 1.22 firmware updates, you can't go back unless you are S-OFF. This is why it's never advisable to take an OTA (I'm aware you didn't say you took the OTA, not trying to claim you did) because it is often irreversible. For people who didn't have a choice, this is just unfortunate.
The ROM you're using is based on 1.13, but LazyPanda requires that your firmware also be 1.13, and that's not something you can check from within the ROM, if I recall correctly.

Understood completely. It seems as though it shows 1.13 but still has hboot at 1.15. I have been debating on whether or not to visit a friend of mine who works at sprint and see if I can come up with an excuse to have it swapped out, just don't know if they have the white LTE.

hboot 1.50 question

if you have s-off and 1.50 can you flash custom kernals or other things you cant with htc unlock method
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
If you are S-Off with 1.50 you should be able to flash anything the traditional way. I used Revolutionary and was S-off with hboot 1.40. I upgraded radios/firmware etc and accidentally picked the wrong file. It bumped me up to hboot 1.50. I was able to reload TWRP and then flash a rom with no issues.
However, that being said. If you are S-off you can just roll back to hboot 1.40 with no problem. Look for xHausx thread with Engineering Hboot. He has a link for the 1.40 boot, flash that one, not the 1.04.02 file. You just rename the file to pg86img.zip and let it run through bootloader.
I did this last night. Again....you must be S-Off with revolutionary, before going to hboot 1.50. So for anyone who used HTCdev tool to root, you cannot roll back at this time. Try it and it either won't work, or may brick your phone.
I went from this right out of the box:

To this after using revolutionary Root:
Then I mistakenly flashed this to correct a problem with my stock rom:
Which gave me this, but I was able to reload TWRP and flash a rooted stock rom still with no issues. Due to being S-off it makes no difference on the hboot:
Then I flashed the 1.40 hboot via bootloader and went back to this:
My advice to everyone, don't be a derp. Pay better attention to what firmware upgrades you flash.
thank for the reply. i knew what i was doing when i flashed ruu. i never had any problems with og evo. i just wanted to be sure i could stay with 1.50 so i can keep the radio. i hate this hboot fastboot. the og evo was way more user friendly. i could flash whatever i wanted in recovery. with 3vo all i see is restrictions wich i can deal with. new devices mean slower dev time. i sure to miss ra.

If your phone is working with no issues then no, there's no need to update the radios or PRL. The radio and baseband are the same things, just FYI. Also, I don't think the latest MeanRom ICS is v0.9, it should be v6.5, at least that's the version I'm rocking and there isn't a more updated version that I'm aware of. You'll want to update your radios if you plan on trying out any of the Jb roms though but the dev will post that in their thread so there's no confusion. To update your radio is pretty simple, follow the directions at the post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1645890
I am on Jelly bean rom I should have said that. Meanbeam 0.9 . But thanks for your help.

[Q] Help With Base ROM, Please

I need to return my EVO LTE to get another replacement, but I need the base ROM so I can flash it back to stock. Unfortunately, I can't gain access to the NANDROID backup I made of the base ROM before flashing the Viper ROM that I'm currently using. If someone would kindly post the base ROM that's compatible for my phone's build, I would be highly appreciative. Here's my phone's info:

Viperboy made a RUU tool that you can find at the link below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2197909
If you are S-Off, you can use the viper RUU tool to go back to completely stock.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Or, as another solution, you can always flash the stock rooted rom, and remove superuser, thereby unrooting it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045935
Just be sure to relock the bootloader. But your best option would be to go S-Off, run VipeRUU, and use a mod to change the bootloader information that's displayed when you boot into the bootloader.

VipeRUU will put the phone back completely stock, locked bootloader and all. No need to use a mod like regaw's bootloader customizer to change the bootloader info.

Thanks, guys. My phone is still S-on. I'm really not concerned with relocking the bootloader since NO ONE ever checks for that stuff based on past experiences.

Well, as I suggested earlier, flash the stock rooted rom and remove SU permissions via the SU app.

Running RUUs w/o computer

Fried my laptops HDD, but is there anyway to run a ruu without a computer. I keep seeing info from other uses about running a ruu that'll fix the black screen issues with epilson kernel

The only question I have about that is I've realized its based from 2.23 fw...I'm guessing if I wanted 3.xx.xxx again. I'd have to update again.
That method flashes stock recovery. I don't have any means of flashing a custom recovery after I've flashed that RUU
AT&T hasn't released 3.x software, so therefore no corresponding RUU yet.

Well that sucks. I was hoping to flash xboxs latest kernel
@jxcorex28
If your S-off and Supercid than you can flash the 3.28.401.6 from link below .my device is the AT&T variant and the above 3.28.401.6 works great on mine and would allow you to use the updated kernel you wish to run

To upgrade my fw to the latest, I just ran the developer edition ruu 3.28.1540.5. Since it has the same bands as AT&T, my lte speeds weren't affected at all. In fact, in places way out of my city where I used to get spotty coverage going in and out, I now get consistent connection with a decent speed. I'm very happy I did mine this way.
Since you don't have a computer, maybe you can see if someone can make a bootable ruu from the exe posted in the forums
Who started that thread you pulled the RUU from ? Honestly I was thinking about doing GPE conversion. I rarely use sense anyways
I'm on 3.28.401.7 right now, have been for about 3 or 4 weeks

This Is the one I believe. Someone had made another post for the 3.xx ruu , bc the original one (at that time) was a few pages in. They one I downloaded was an exe file tho, the page has since been updated with zips ( not sure if they're just zipped exe files or bootable ruus, didn't really look)
In any case, it was the best decision I ever made for my AT&T m8. It was pretty cool to see it without all the AT&T bloatware and boot animations too, tho that changed pretty quick when I wiped it and flashed roms again
I've never used a RUU before, but I am on 3.28.401.7...just had to rename to 0P9BIMG and hboot flash....I've been looking for a way to convert to GPE. I never use sense roms

[Q] Ruu for htc desire 610

Where i can download the ruu for this device and how to install (or work with them) ?
They are region specific and htc have only relesed it for the at&t us version. So far all other version owners are out of luck.
What's happen if i use RUU AT&T US version instead of Asia version?

No. As I said earlier htc have not released one. But I do have all files from a brand new asia phone that matches your details. What exactly are you after? Kernel, rom, stock recovery? All up thats a lot for me upload and host. If you tell me whats wrong and what you want to do I am sure I can get you what you want. A near stock backup image of mine is still around on these threads and the rest I could put in a smaller.zip to return it to stock. So what excatly do you want to do? Rooted or not rooted? Stock recovery or TWRP? System partition write locked or not locked?
MiniBlu
Thanks. I also back up my rom before that.
I just wanna unroot my phone
But i have some problem
I can not uninstall SuperSU
I use "Full unroot" in SuperSU setting. Then, i reboot my phone and it appears again. I don't know why??
So, i think that If i have RUU asia version, every thing can be solved.
Can you give me some clues to make it right?

If you got a back up of full stock before you rooted it just restore it.
Unroot won't stick if run from the rom becouse /system partition if write protected. you would need to do it from recovery.
