Milestone x2 will not reboot from recovery - Motorola Droid X2

Hey guys, need some assistance here
I'm currently running DKZ's CM9 alpha 5 i decided to nand before applying the supercharger script. I was able to nand successfully, but whenever I try to reboot out of recovery, it hangs at the motorola logo. I have tried battery pulls and clearing cache, but no dice. I even tried restoring the nand i just made to no avail.
any ideas before I do a fresh install of CM9 or SBF?

i would wipe everything three times, if that doesnt work reflash cm9, if that doesnt work then sbf.

[Q] Boot Problem - CM7 ICS PreFinal

I just flashed the new CM7 ROM onto my Atrix. I was running the Dark Side ROM before the flash. I tried booting my phone up, it goes to the boot animation which runs for about 5 seconds, then reboots. Its cycled for 10 minutes. I pulled battery, reflashed, but the problem seems pretty persistent. Any Ideas?
it may be obvious but did you do the "3 wipes" before flashing CM7? also try "fastboot -w" if you've done wipes in recovery already before flashing
i am having a similar issue with the MOD 2 version of this rom, i was using my atrix with the hdmimirror.zip that i installed other than that the phone was just stock rooted, with an unlocked bootloader. now that i have flashed this rom ( doing all the necessary wipes and etc.) when i try to reboot i am stuck at the dual core screen. any thoughts?
Format the system partition, factory wipe/reset, wipe dalvik cache. Reboot into CWM and then go ahead and flash the ROM. That should hopefully make sure it's all clean before the install.

[Q] Won't boot, worked fine, then bootloop, now it freezes (using CM9 ICS Nightly)

Hi Friends,
Model Number - GT-P7510
I recently rooted and installed the CM9 ICS nightly rom using the noob video instructions (This included rooting with Odin, installing CMW recovery 4.0.0.4, then I flashed the ROM cm-9-20120624 Nightly and finally flashed GAPPS-ics).
I over clocked using the CM9 settings and everything worked perfectly for about a week, it was great. Then it just crashed while I was reading my email and began to bootloop. After reading for similar errors I rebooted to recovery and tried wiped the cache and dalvic cache, I wiped data and factory reset several times but nothing worked, always the same bootloop. I re flashed the same ROM and still nothing, after a while the boot screen would simply freeze instead of bootloop.
Then I connected to my PC, and did this to no avail. In fact it simply added to the problem by adding a yellow warning triangle while attempting to boot so I did the Oden thing again like the first time I rooted however I installed CMW version 5.5.0.4 instead thinking it might help but it hasn't.
One last point, when I attempt to wipe data/factory reset the tablet seems to freeze and attempt to reboot rather than say something like "success" as it would during a cache wipe. This maybe normal or it maybe the problem! who knows?
On that point, I would be very grateful if some of you could help get me to the point when my PC recognises the tablet so I can reflash a new ROM.
Thanks in advance,
Karl
I once got the same problem. The only thing that helped was to flash back the stock rom via Odin with the pit file. And don't forget to do a hard reset after flashing the rom. I'll just stick to the stock rom until the official update is getting released.

Questions go in the Q&A section
I think the best way is still to do factory reset, go back to the stock ROM first and try custom HC ROM until the official ICS is released.

[Q] HELP! Bricked Fascinate!

SO I retartedly tried to restore from a nandroid after changing AOKP versions, and now even though I have wiped everything and done droidstyle's guide again, I install my THS Build 2 ICS ROM, and after I installed it, my phone just keeps booting into recovery, when I click "reboot system now" it just reboots into recovery. Any suggestions?

Edit: After trying a couple other things, I decided to install AOKP Milestone 6, and then GApps, and voila, it booted :?
You should try THS build 1.

Stuck on Dual Core Screen

So i flashed CM9 Beta on a friends DX2, everything installed fine. I started BSR and created a backup successfully. When selecting reboot i am now stuck on the "M" Dual Core Screen. I did manage to get back into BSR so i wiped Data/Cache and rebooted and no change. I also attempted to restore to the back I created and no change as well. The phone was on 2.3.4 before i flashed it.
Any help would be great, thank you.

I would try re-flashing the ROM, then wipe cache/dalvik again.
You probably used the incorrect version of the BSR. You're going to have to SBF, root, install the BSR for stock and then reboot into BSR, flash CM9, then the ICS gapps.

I used the one i found on the XDA wiki.

Do you happen to have a link for the stock BSR if that is not the correct one?
I'm assuming there is a different version that needs to be used as well after CM9 has been installed?
SBF to 2.3.4 to get it booting again. Root and install BSR (unpatached). DO not use Voodoo Root keeper
Install CM9 and when it boots install the "patched for CM7" BSR.
Don;t panic if when you try to boot into recovery it does not work. With CM9, it usually take me several tries to get BSR to come up every time I need it.

Help with messed up safestrap

I rooted my device a few days ago in order to stop the 4.1 ota update, I am currently on 4.0.4 and the device is an xt912.
Today I decided to install safestrap and after installing the recovery and booting into it, I backed up the stock rom.
After backing it up, I clicked on reboot to system.
The device then jumped into a bootloop.
So I cleared cache, dalvik cache, and even factory reset but it won't pass the DROID eye.
So I created a new slot and restored my early backup and to my suprise, it booted up.
I then rebooted back to recovery and cleared system, data, cache and dalvik cache of stock slot and restored the same back up there and rebooted, and it booted up nicely. But after that the recovery kind of disappeared. So I installed safestrap apk again and rebooted to recovery to make sure it flashed.
I was able to boot into the recovery but as I tried to boot back into the rom, I got stuck in a boot loop again.
My problem is if I reinstall the recovery, the device gets stuck in a bootloop, unless I wipe everything and restore my backup.
Also when turn off the phone and connect it to wall charger, the battery sign doesn't show up again.
Can u guys help me out??
Doesn't matter if I loose my stuff.
I just want a working 4.0.4 with root and to be able to charge the device when it's off.
(BTW my version of safestrap is 3.3.0 I think. Its 3 point something.)
I need help ASAP.
