Best cm9 rom for p500 - Optimus One, P500, V General

which cm9 Rom is more ideal for p500 with less bug, good performance and good battery life...cos i don't seems to find one.
drop your favourite cm9 Rom here and tell me why you like it.

Hehappy's prefinal rom and dynamite's ics/jb rom....performance...hehappy's has better battery in my opinion...I do however like williamcharles's AOKP rom. I like the customization features but the rom itself lags..with the release of RC2,the speakerphone issue is fixed in the first two but not the AOKP rom by WC

It's not allowed to ask for the best ROM. Try them all and choose one.
Btw, I'm using hephappy's tinystream, I wanted to flash prefinal, but he closed his thread .

The link below has all the answers to your questions :good: enjoy!

As said before (1000 times) there's no need for threads like this.
Try the ROMs available and install the one that suits your phone the best.

[POLL] What's your favorite ROM for LG P500? Vote NOW!

Hi all! Now that P500 ROMs are much more than before,P500 users have a great selection. I opened this poll to see what's the most popular ROM in this P500 forum,so what are you waiting for? VOTE NOW!
I'm using devoid because I'm looking for something fast, light and very stable.
But other great ROMs which I've tried are: openOptimus, void, mik's CM7. I really liked openOptimus, but now I'm looking for simple stuff and CM7 was also pretty cool but I've decided using a froyo ROM until LG releases the sources for gingerbread.
Andy's ginger RC-2, now flashing RC-3...
well, when it comes to me.
I have been a changer
whether it was the time when i had symbian
or now when i am having my first android O1
Stock Rom > CM7 by Mik > Devoid > OpenOptimus > CM7 Again
Now waiting for the GB Sources to be released
btw where is the poll option ?
I keep switching between devoid and openOptimus.

Added poll option,it took a while, put all roms except discontinued ones (like KeruROM and void.).
andy572's CyanogenMod 7
I keep changing roms when new one comes but I always get back to Andy's Rom.
I'm using Mik's Cyanogen mod. If the sense rom actually turns to be good and stable I'll probably try that one out.
The rom is already stable,no random reboots,it's just fill of bugs.

Mik's cm 7 !

devoid.franko.v5 is my beloved ROM :-D especialy with latest kernel and all the tweaks. Fast, stable, light. Tried CM7, got some bugs in wireless headgear so I droped it, tho it's a nice rom. Also tried QUY, the new one. Feels like devoid got dresed in new fashionate clothes, but thats also nice.

+1 for Void!!
Even though it is discontinued, it still works very nicely.
@ciaox: you should consider putting void in poll. I am sure many still use this..

openOptimus build 1.172.1
Hello!!
i'm using openOptimus build 1.172.1. i have tried all custom ROM with but my search stop with openOptimus.
Because its giving extreme performance over mobile with good battery life.
Also customized animation in every window with new icon in setting menu.
in addition new power menu.
WWWWowww battery life is very good.
whenever you install this ROM wipe battery stat and cache partition.

I've been a fan of void / devoid since it was released. Can't wait for void on Gingerbread
Like this poll
Indeed nice idea this poll.
personally favorite rom after many tests is OpenOptimus 1.172.1. Just lovin it.
CM comes 2nd just because of battery life. A little bit thirsty for my tastes.
3rd devoid-final cause I had few issues with it (dunno maybe i'm stupid)
Gratz ciaox for a rom filled with lots of innovative stuff and still nice snappy performance and battery life

I use mik cm7 despite battery drain. I can live with it. I'm not sure i'll change to official Gingerbread.

Best ROMS
To me the best ROMs are FTW1) For Old baseband - Mik_os 6.5.8. and 2) For new baseband - Lupohirp's unofficial CM9.
Oxygen
Adfad cm7.2
Phoenix
OpenOptimus
BlackBird
CM nightlies
Mik's cm7.1
CM9
These are great roms...
Sent from my LG-P500
I am now using CM7.2.0 (with franco .35 kernel and it's awesome) and i also tried the latest CM9 (beta3) which is great, but needs some fixes (that will come soon, from what i've read) and i think i'll switch to this one when beta4 is released.
Thanks for posting the question. I am considering updating my rom.
Mik's Cm7 is probably one of the cult classics.
I've used Oxygen (decent)
CM9 (still in alpha stages)
Open Optimus (like it a lot, current rom, but having issues with apps taking awhile to open up)
PerfectPeso (ehh, not a fan)
CosmicExperia (pretty good rom)
Dr. Notor's Cm7 MIUI Themed rom (excellent)
Im currently looking for a stable, decent new baseband rom that I can use daily with WiFi (preferably with some sort of increase in WiFi speed) until CM9 becomes stable, Any suggestions?
used almost every rom but find void forever is best on old bb and on new bb cm7 nightlies is best..

Best ROMs
Now using Nightly Four E 4.1(Old BB). Gonna try PerfectPeso soon...
Also CM9, it's good, but since the P500 is my primary phone, had to switch to something else in which more things are working... hoping to update to (more usable) CM9 soon...
CM Nightlies.. with some Tweaks.. is the best for me now
Using nightly foure 4.3.1 found it perfect enough for me after trying AGA, oxygenand cm7 latest unmodded nightly
Hello, where do I find Dr. Notor's Cm7 MIUI Themed ROM?
And please, explain why it is so good?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
The best ROM is the one that you test and see if it fits to you.
Please don't ask wich is better.
THEY ARE ALL A GREAT JOB FROM THE DEVS.

StockLite7.1 vs Adrenaline ROM 3rd

Hi @ all,
I know that there are already some threads about which is the best Rom. But because most are still in development I like to start this new one.
So my girldfriend is using CM7.2 stable at the moment. But battery isn't very good. So I think to switch back Stock based Rom. But I don't knwo whether Stocklite or Adrenaline Rom. I've tried Adrenaline Rom before, but got the WLAN bug. In the latest StockLite there is a new battery save kernel. But read that there are some problems, when battery drops unter 20%.
What do you think, which rom is better and whats your experience with it? Do you also have the mentioned problems?
PS: I don't care about benchmarks or free ram, I'm looking for a stable and battery friendly rom.
All those threads are allready closed cuz there are too many.....
And those to can't be comppared as they are based on cm7 and stock
no, not again, you just cannot compare roms, they are unique in their own way.If you want to see whats better just try it out yourself. Also a thread titled rom VS rom is not fair

Do u know rom that will be good for me ?

With absolutely no information to go on, I'm going to say try them all and see which works for you.
Edit: or stick to the one that came with your phone. It's stable as it gets and has good battery life.

any ics rom will not work for you, gb ones are more stable plus haves greater battery life, try out neutrino, topsmarts or mrom, imho neutrino is the best non blur rom it was my daily driver, before i gave my atrix to my wife

its a regular cwm flashable zip, i remember that op haves all the steps , flash rom, then flash addons

Try Nottratrix ROM, it's a GB custom ROM with optimizations and tweaks.
This thread is completely unnecessary, there are many others just like this one. Plus, you asked a question here and opened ANOTHER thread asking the same question? That's against XDA rules.
Both threads reported. You should really cool down on opening new threads.
Thread closed. Best/most stable ROM threads have no place as they're completely subjective and based purely on opinion. What's best for someone else is not guaranteed to be best for you as your needs will likely be different. Try them for yourself as then you'll learn at the same time as finding the best for you.
Thanks

[Q] Best Rom

Hello, I have just rooted my SamsungS3 and I wanted some help.
I want you to say me your opinion about which ROM you think is the best for battery life and also with which kernel should I use it to get best of my battery ?
Thank you in advance
try using ARHD with perseus Kernel...
there's nothing best or bad buddy. all depends on your own opinion. anyways it is against the rules of XDA to ask such questions.

People get bent out of shape when these questions are posted (I dunno why they are only opinions) I have a Note 2 and have probably flashed 12 different roms, all good but for a Sammy base I like ptmr3's Jedi Roms (I am currently running Jedi Master), for Open Source 4.2.2 roms, I love Jellybam, which was banned by xda and has to be downloaded from Bam Android (devs site).

We do not encourage best rom thread here in XDA.
You need to choose what rom to use.
1st, base your rom choice from feedbacks of other members.
Try all roms if you want.
Then, choose which of the roms is working best for you.
Happy hunting and enjoy flashing

Maybe if it was worded "recommended rom" it would sound better. I honestly went your suggested route and was a flashoholic for months until I found the few I liked best.
