Android app - multi-display video wall

Hi,
Thinking to develop am android app to display a video or part of the video on mutli-android phone device. It will support sync video and play it at the same time.
Anyone can give me some advice or idea how i can do it?
Thanks.
Im not really sure what you are trying to do. You want to display "part of a video"? Are you trying to output video from the device to a screen? Or from another device to the phone?
Anyway, I suggest you get the Android SDK from google. They basically tell you how to write apps. There are also books or classes you can take too.
So your wanting to make an app that allows you to share and play(synced) video over multiple phones?
Yes as above said you will first need to get the Android SDK, but to write this program you will need to be very skilled programmer with alot of times on your hands...
You will first need to know alot about networking, allowing you to connect to other phones and i assume create a buffer system then have all phones play at time that the buffers are reached to maintain steady flow based of network stats.
If you want to do streaming you will need to know even more, not to mention you will need to probably write your own video playing software.
OR you could simply write a program that links the x # of phones together and then streams from phone a to phones x-n through a 3rd party stream capable video player.

Need this APPS !!!
Blinkendroid has been found but I'd like to watch a movie on my Android device and broadcast / stream it on other Android device synchronised.
ie :
=> I own 2 tablets 7"
=> I want to watch to a movie / TV Show with subtitles
=> My girlfriend want to watch to the same program... but without subtitles
Is there anything yet for this requirement ?

[Q] Some 4od programs no longer playing

For some time now I have enjoyed watching 4od programmes on my Galaxy Note, using the stock browser to visit the 4od website.
Yesterday, for the first time, I encountered a problem with the playback of some, but not all, 4od programmes.
Specifically, although one week ago I was able to watch episodes of Homeland, I now no longer can. The same episodes are playing fine on a Windows PC, so this seems to be a new Android Flash issue.
The symptoms are: when I click to play the program:
- the three adverts play successfully
- the 4od four second ident plays fine, but
- the programme itself shows a black screen, with no sound, although:
(a) the timer continues to advance, and
(b) if I switch on the subtitles, they will display successfully (over a black screen with no sound)
Some other 4od programmes however still play without any problem.
I have seen a posting in a Suse Linux forum detailing a similar problem, which has also arisen very recently. It suggest that the problem may be caused by a change to 4od using 'Adobe f4f' for some but not all of its programmes.
Can anyone assist?

[Q] Video streaming

Hi all,
Quick question, does any one know if it's possible to stream the video from an Android phones camera to a pc via usb or wifi in effect to give you a zoomable HD web cam?
Oh and of course to capture that video feed.
Fingers crossed.

Thanks Rober,
My mistake, I've used ipwebcam in the past and (while I can't get it working at the moment) I know it does a good job. For my purposes though I need a p to p connection without going through a router as I'll be using this, literally, out in the field.

[Q] Wirless streaming of screen

Hi
Been around the internet and cant find it. So better go to the source of knowlage. (xda forums)
My question is this, I can stream my diffrent android devices to my tv using dlna or allshare.
But what I am looking for is to stream my galaxy tab screen to the TV. Is this possible?
My first idee was some kind och application on my tab that transformed my screen to a dlna stream. Or a wireless HDMI connection of some sort.
Can some gentle soul point me in the right direction?
Best regards Mats

Mock the Camera input using the Video File

Hi,
I was wondering is it possible programmatically hack the Android (probably iOS) device in a way that you can fake the camera input and read the gallery asset instead.
The use case:
TikTok app has a feature that allow you to Duet other's video (to record your video side by side with the original). On this screen it is impossible to import video from the disc. In my opinion, to do such "import" would be possible if I patch the camera stream with asset stream from the disc.
Also, if there's a hardware hack to such problem, I'd be very helpful too
