Mock the Camera input using the Video File - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I was wondering is it possible programmatically hack the Android (probably iOS) device in a way that you can fake the camera input and read the gallery asset instead.
The use case:
TikTok app has a feature that allow you to Duet other's video (to record your video side by side with the original). On this screen it is impossible to import video from the disc. In my opinion, to do such "import" would be possible if I patch the camera stream with asset stream from the disc.
Also, if there's a hardware hack to such problem, I'd be very helpful too

Airfoil for Android even possible?

Hi!
I've been looking for an app like Airfoil (Mac/Windows program) for Android. What it does is "hijack" your audio source (program), and sends it via Airplay to compatible Airplay units.
Where the Airplay or DLNA is not a problem, there exists streaming apps in the market. What i wonder is if the hijack of other sources is possible in Android? Assuming it would require root.
Why i want this? Stream Spotify or Google music from my phone/tablet to reciever in living room without any messy servers and such.
- Thanks for any replies, Mixy

[Q] Video streaming

Hi all,
Quick question, does any one know if it's possible to stream the video from an Android phones camera to a pc via usb or wifi in effect to give you a zoomable HD web cam?
Oh and of course to capture that video feed.
Fingers crossed.

Thanks Rober,
My mistake, I've used ipwebcam in the past and (while I can't get it working at the moment) I know it does a good job. For my purposes though I need a p to p connection without going through a router as I'll be using this, literally, out in the field.

[Q] Wirless streaming of screen

Hi
Been around the internet and cant find it. So better go to the source of knowlage. (xda forums)
My question is this, I can stream my diffrent android devices to my tv using dlna or allshare.
But what I am looking for is to stream my galaxy tab screen to the TV. Is this possible?
My first idee was some kind och application on my tab that transformed my screen to a dlna stream. Or a wireless HDMI connection of some sort.
Can some gentle soul point me in the right direction?
Best regards Mats

Netflix for android Tv box without use of a mouse

Running Netflix on an android box requires use of a mouse.
Is there any apk that runs solely with the use of remote control like the Netflix apk for Android TV
I've been looking for the same. I don't even mind if the video output is SD.

This is not my work, but found this on another forum and it works without air mouse
Here is a version of Netflix (4.16.xx ) for android that works without the mouse. You can simply control it with the dpad keys. Ofcourse do not update the build, else you lose the no mouse feature. I use it on my tvbox with android 9 and it works great.

@raymerjacque I've removed the link from your post. 4shared is not accepted as filehost on XDA due to violation of rule no. 11 of the forum rules.

Ah well, you took down probably the only link in existence to a version of Netflix that is widely sought on the internet... I don't know what you have against 4shared ( the days of filehosts not being commercial are long gone) your terms are outdated...... But I tried to help, guess help wasn't wanted.
