Hi Guys!
I have a Big problem.
I want back to cm7, because i have bugs on the multitouch in games on Cm9 .
Problem: Cm7 is not smooth.
before switching on CM9, CM7 was very smooth but not anymore.
Why???
I have never tried CM9 or CM10 yet but try to do full wipe then flash sable CM7 or CM7 based rom. ( I recommend Neutrino.)
use this script to do FULL WIPE. It deletes EVERYTHING Make sure you copy your rom files to the your sd-card.
I'm sure it will solve your problem.
Thanx you so mutch, i try that now!

Hi chaps,
i downloaded the CM7 ROM and Baseband from Jerpelea's thread. however, its not stable as it was work in progress...lots of things not working and sends my phone into reboot all the time when i try access them.
That thread has grown into over 600 posts, who has CM7 working well on their x10? i want to know what updated files were downloaded and flashed to get it working well and stable.
Please guys
I had jerpelea's CM7 ROM, but camera made me switch to Wolfbreak's one. I'm not sure about how is it working now, but in RC4 with stock kernel almost everything was working fine, except the camera.
It's clearly not as stable or fast as the ROM I handle now, but I had it as a daily ROM without many problems.

All roms have a bug, but I like GingerDX
I'm currently using GingerDX (v006 w/ hotfixes). It works great for the most part, it's much more stable than the froyo rom I was previously using, and seems to be much faster as well.
Hard to say "best" about any rom... the question really would be.. what rom is best *for you*
I'm currently using GingerDX too, v007.
"For me", it's the Best ROM.
Sonybread is the main Paul's ROM.
Sorry my very bad english.
I'm using GingerDX 007 too and for me, among the 3 most relevantat gingerbread based roms, is the most stable and the one which better responds; but, any patch or hotfix to solve the notification bar problem? Once it has been extended the only way to put it back is by pressing the back button; and a last question: does the keyboard light work properly for you? is instaled D4 app? I can't see it.
And finally, if you can help me... anyone has experienced that when installed any gingerbread rom, even wiping cache and Dalvik still the previously installed apps?
I thing I'm the only one...
Thanks!!
another vote for gingerdx. the fastest rom i've used so far (i've tried almost all of them). battery life is great as well.

not true. you just have to find the right spot. when extended, try dragging the bar back up by placing your finger just slightly above the three notches in the bar. it's not perfect, but it works.

yes, the kb light works perfectly. the app is called "D4's kFix".

try this...when in cwm, go to mounts and storage and format cache, data, and system. also, wipe dalvik cache, wipe data/factory reset, and wipe cache partition. see if that works. works for me
My SD Card has a EXT partition for Link2SD from 2.1 Stock rom; maybe...?!
GingerDX rules
One more vote to gingerDx, the best one.
+1 for GingerDX
Have only tried gintonic.se by slade so far. It is the first time I am running a custom rom, I can not believe my eyes, all is looking so nice and works so well. Thanks XDA! (and slade in particular Has anyone who is voting for gingerdx tried gintonic.se as well? Now that I know how easy it is to flash a rom I might try another one (gingerdx/Paul's CM7) just to compare them.
If I make a backup of my system in CWM will everything be exactly the same when I do a restore? I mean all the settings as well (not only apk's+data).
The best one for the Mini's, must be MiniCM7 by nAa.
hi guys .i new to this site and i want to try cm7 on my ace i dont know wich is the best for daily use
cause in the COOPER KANG RC1 it says that the camera and FM doesn't work
pllllz help

Everything is fixed, both roms are fine. Pick one and flash it doesn't matter much.

but how??do i need the 2.3.4 kpb or any 2.3.? kpb??
No. But if you do get connectivity problems you might wanna try switching basebands.
i would suggest to you to try both..
you can flash them via cwm..
you can jump between this two if you choose the right one that suits you..hehe
ive tried both roms
i couldnt find any noticable difference between the two in terms of usage and performance
I prefer the KANG CM7 Rom just because it has the 16 bit transparency, the scrolling gets smoother with this option enabled.

I already have BehradGH's CM7,is it safe to flash cooper KANG?
I mean in the instructions,it said that you need 2.3.4,While CyanoAce is having 2.3.7.
I think you can flash directly but make first wipe cache and dalvik cache. If you get bootloop make wipe data/factory reset too.

Sounds like you need to re-flash or restore a good working backup and try again.
Also, when posting try to use some punctuation and more detail. Makes it much easier for peeps to help with problems.
Thank will give it a try do you think cm9 is more stable?

Sounds like it. CM9 (depending on version) is very stable and has loads of support.
another thing you may want to consider is use of a 1.3 kernel instead of 1.4. Nit all photons agree with a 1.4 kernel.
My MoPho's in the kitchen sink!!
i got kitchen sink to boot but it had loads of bugs and fc's i tried 3 different (aokp, miui and gummy) gummy didn't work for me at all and got stuck at the moto boot logo, i suggest you simply flash aokp without kitchen sink and there probably won't be any problems. kitchen sink is a new idea so of course there will be bugs but to make this work we need to test.

Did you try to reboot into CWM and fix permissions, too? I run CNA via KS 2.0.1, it was a little quirky for the first couple days but got better. Still running it now.....

I believe that the random reboots are due to the settings you have chosen for the installed ROM. Try to install CM9 in the default configuration. I tried kitchen sink ROM yesterday and used it to set up several ROMs to test - each went through just perfect. Remember that Android 4 ROMs may be unstable, e.g. camera issue in all of the ROMs.
I also had issues with slow playback of videos, previously shot with the phone. Both MIUI and CM9 has failed to smoothly playback 720p video, shot with Photon. The video was all sluggish, but the audio was fine.
You may also try to find some pattern why phone is rebooting. It might only look like it is random...

Yayy! New roms to play with :good:
cool thx,
I will try it on boot manager, hope it doesn't fail any kernel checks.
Yea the only reason this isnt miui 2.10.16
Is because i made this build when i made the cdma build.....
I decided just to release that build today
expect to see updates
nice job, thx for your nice rom,
I will try it tomorrow...
Stuck in bootloop.
starts up to select language, then reboots, then starts to optimize 3 apps, reboots,
optimze 3 apps and same bootloop on the app optimizing
full wiped.

am impressed!
restored all my apps and all working fine
rom is 2x faster then ics miui
dont have any bug yet
first time a miui rom can send and recieve mms!!!
you did a very good job on this rom!
will test more but :good::good::good::good:
my word it's smooth!!!
having message app closes pop every minute though and have no phone service.. probably due to me running it on 'boot manager', or maybe because I only repaired the boot.img and modules folder from the first original download.
everything else i tried works, including camera
do you think it's worth trying the second download or was boot.img and modules folder the only thing that changed ?
Yes.....re download
Im happy u like
I am experienced miui dev
Ok, i try it to flash it over the official 2.10.19 Miui rom without wipe, will report.
Edit: Ok dont waste your time, wiping cache is not enough.
Haha
Yes fully wipe is needed unless flashing over an update which isnt released yet
Poweramp and 3rd party Camera is not working on this ROM. Otherwise, it is as smooth as butter.
