Hello All,
I just ordered a Lenovo S2110 Android tablet with keyboard dock. The idea was to use this 20 hour machine on road trips to do work related activities. For my job, I need to connect via VPN to get access to my work's intranet. I can do that fine in Windows on my pc or my work laptop. I was hoping to do this via Android and the Cisco AnyConnect program. Unfortunately my company doesnt have the license for Cisco AnyConnect mobile so I cannot connect directly via android.
Is it at all possible to connect and share the connection via my home pc that is connected via VPN via the internet somehow? Meaning, can I have VPN running at home and if I am away, connect through the internet and get the VPN tunnel to my android so I can connect to the work websites through the Android browser? Or access my shared network drive?
Only other option I see is using Team Viewer of Splash Desktop to connect as a remote session, but that is not preferable .

I like Apple's magic trackpad, just wonder if there's any app can turn an android phone into a windows PC's multi-touch trackpad, via usb/bluetooth/wifi? I'm expecting touching to scroll, pinching to zoom, etc.

Great app, I got the paid version.

Thanks, it's a pity this app does not support bluetooth. Just found http://code.google.com/p/premotedroid/ and playing with it, not so good as the magic trackpad but still useful.

For Real Multitouch, in the sense that windows recognize the android phone as real multitouch device look this video, i think in the google play market, this is the only one:

I'm looking for an app that will allow me to connect to my (Linux) computer via Bluetooth, and use my android touchscreen as a trackpad. I would prefer there to be no server software, but if there aren't any without it, that's fine. Anybody have suggestions?

I don't think you'll find an app that doesn't require a server component. Most of these are written in Java, it's the easiest to make them cross-platform. I've have the best experience with PRemoteDroid, though I used WiFi, not bluetooth. But PRemoteDroid has support for bluetooth too.
I found 2 good ones (supposedly) one works fine, and I'm trying to get the other to work. :/
Using the Nook Tablet with CM7 alpha that was briefly available here.
I'm trying to access my employer's citrix server. I've installed the receiver and configured everything properly. I can login, but before it displays my apps, I get an error that says:
Too many server redirects.
I get the same error when accessing the web interface using the default Browser or Dolphin. I installed UCBrowser, and it properly displays the apps. However, when I click them, it simply downloads the ica file, rather than opening it. If I use a file manager and click on the ica file, nothing happens. If I long press it and select Citrix Receiver, nothing happens.
I have the same problem on my Evo4G. However, no problems from Windows, Linux, or iPhone.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this working?

I have a new idea.
Eveybody knows that we can setup a vnc software or use remote desktop in windows 8 to access it on any android tablet with a vnc software.I have installed windows 8 on my pc and I do not have a touchscreen.I have a 10.1 inch android tablet. I have setup remote desktop on windows 8 and can access my pc's display on my tablet. But it can be used only with the mouse pointer given on screen. When I try to slide my finger on the screen for example, to navigate in the new start screen, instead of scrolling, the display of the screen moves and the blank space appears. This is because the vnc app is designed to work with a pc os that requires mouse. But since this is windows 8, optimised for touchscreens, I want to use my tablet as the touchscreen monitor for windows 8 to use it as a tablet. I will keep my pc on and access it o n my tablet.
Is this possible?
Does anyone know a vnc software for android that supports touch input for windows 8.
Or better can any one make it?
I know that many experts are present on xda.
Please tell me if you know

I work in the IT department of a college and i am looking for an app that I can enter an ip address/host name and remotely shutdown/restart a computer. I know there are apps out there that do it but all I've come across are ones that require a program to be installed on the system ahead of time.
basically I am looking for an app that acts just like matcode's remote shutdown program
I've tried searching but but the results are too flooded with programs that require software to be setup ahead of time.
any insight would be great and thanks ahead of time.
Edit I am rebooting windows 7 computers and have an atrix 4g phone
