Is there a way to get the TWC TV app to work with root? I downloaded the app from play store only to fund out I had to have ICS for the live tv to work. So I rooted and s off'd got some ics goodness and re downloaded the app. Then I see not supported for root users..... I rooted for this app and now I can't use it. Any help?

Hey guys if you want full screen just use your internet browser, click on settings and check off mobile view. Then go to the hulu website click on the show or movie you want to watch, once it starts playing check the full screen option on the right side. And magic you got full screen hulu on your android device. Enjoy

So I bought a bluray/dvd/digital download. First i've ever bought a movie like this. The digital download can be used through the application pocket blu. Only problem is that when I try, the app says device detected as rooted. For security reasons blah blah blah. Is there any way around this or trick the app into thinking I'm unrooted?

I never allowed it su access. In superuser, it has no log of gaining access and it is not listed in the apps section

Follow the posted directions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289635
Or, do it the easy way and install this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zachspong.google.videos.root&feature=search_result
One click to shut root down, then click to activate root again once you are done.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I am in the uk,however my question is that the app won't run on a rooted device. As stated in there description on the play store.
If I use the voodoo temp unroot app will this work. If so what steps do I need to take.
Thanks for looking and helping.

There's the modded timewarner app that works with root.

I don't think that un roots it. I uninstalled it on my wife's phone and was still able to use apps that required root.

Been using this for a while now with no ill effects, but admittedly I only play with it on occasion. More of a novelty -- if I want to watch TV, well, I'll probably go watch the TV ... but still, I was glad I found it. Hope this helps : Modded BHTV.apk for root users (XDA)
