Another method, you can just hard reset.
When you open the back plate, There's should be a small button next to the camera. You'll need something small to press the button, around 10sec. That should do the hard reset.

since mini doesn't have battery, so it will automatically turn off even after your turn it of.
so, okay. im not sure, but open the back plate of your mini, look near the camera, there's should be a small white button, i think its for hard reset.
try pressing it and hold for 5-10seconds. see if it works for you..

I've got tools to take out the x10 mini battery, it isnt difficult for me.
I've tried the guide of seus program (turn off for minutes, plug the usb cable to pc, hold the back button, plug usb cable to the phone) but there is no thing happened affter I hold the back button and plug usb cable to the phone, no green led indicate thats flash mode. im sure that the battery is full because i charge it for hours with my wall charger. and the battery has out for minutes before i tried to flash mode.

Could you please tell me how to do it step by steps? The SEUS doent work for me in my case. All I do is:
1- Charge the phone for hours to full up the battery
2- Take out the x10 mini battery so the phone is surely turn off for minutes
3- Plug the battery in.
4- Plug the cable (come with the phone - sonyericson cable)
5- Hold the back button on my phone
6- Plug the cable to my phone while the back button still pressed
7- Affter five minutes. No thing happened, the green led not appear, the phone only has red blink.
all I can do is charge the phone and see that it automatic turn on and stuck at sonyericson logo.

i see.
just maybe.
2- Take out the x10 mini battery so the phone is surely turn off for minutes
(do not plug in the battery yet)
4- Plug the cable to pc
(you need to do step 5 & 6 as fast as you can so your phone wont switch on)
5- insert the battery,
6- press and hold back button, plugin usb. that should work.
May be the battery isnt enought to begin flash mode because when I hold power button there is nothing happend, im not sure that battery could be charge when I conect to charger. when I conect to charge, the red light blink, affter about five minutes the phone turn it self on and stuck at sonyericson logo. So there is no red blink more, only the logo. So in this case I think that affter charge 5 minutes the phone turn on and no charge any more, and 5 minutes charging is not enough for flash mode. But I have no way for charging my phone.

have you try pressing the hard reset button at the back of the phone?
it should be around next to the camera, white button and very small. need to plress it with pin anything smaller.
If I'm not mistaken, mini does not have hard reset button. Try to find some pictures of disassembled mini and you'll find out that its not a button at all.
The only way to perform hard reset on mini is to hold down both power and Home keys.

battery discharged and phone bricked. i then connected my phone to the usb with the laptop. phone was looking dead but it did charge and turned on, and i kept it that way for 5 to 10 mins, and then flashed it, it hardly takes 3 - 4 mins to flash...
and then i kept it to be charged again

I had the same problem this morning. I went to bed last night and the phone was fine. This morning it wasn't booting up at all, I wasn't even getting the SE logo.
I was able to fix it with SEUS: plugged in the USB port while holding the Back key and the device turned on in Flash mode so I was able to flash it.
Hope it helps.

What procedure are you following to turn it on in flash mode?
What I did was that I plugged the USB cable while holding down the back button, there is no need to press any other button, it should automatically turn on.

That's what I did. I select factory reset in SEUS, it tells me to press the back button en plug in. I do so, it detect that I did, the little light on the phone turns green. SEUS begin repairing, but almost immediately says it is unable to repair.
I think it is because the phone freezes there. When I plug out, the light stays green, and all I can do is pull the battery out.
The same when I just try to turn the phone on. The light flashes, it vibrates ones (like it normally would) and then it stops and I cant do anything with it but pull out the battery.
you need to 1, pull the battery. 2, connect your phone via usb (still without battery). 3, open pc companion. 4, choose repair. 5, select x10 when asked phone model. 6, when asked to connect phone, put your battery in whilst holding the back button. 7, sit back, relax and your phone will be restored.
the reason your phone won't turn on/update/restore is due to a bootloop.
follow above steps and you x10 should always restore to factory...
I just think that the battery is too low and it can't live to finish the repair process

Tried that now, but it doesn't work. The phone doesn't go into flash mode, and the pc doesn't find him. SEUS on the other hand does find him, but gives the same error.

Tried again a few times, and now the phone goes into flash mode, and Pc Compagnion starts to repare, but gives an error after a while (the process bar shows zero progress, so I think the error is a time out error).
Other suggestions?

Hello,
2 hours ago, a had to turn my SGS2 off and when i want to turn it on, nothing happened Tried to charge battery to full, put out battery for 20 minutes and still can't turn it on. When i connect it to charger, on display is battery charging but don't see LED diod.
Is it soft brick or hardware problem with button ? I just changed my sd card and put back my old.
When its hardware problem, I have to take it back tomorrow, but is there some way to unroot it and flash official rom because of warranty ?
Thanks a lot
Try and plug it in the computer. Maybe itll power on?

thanks a lot. i've made it tomorrow i have to take it to service
Somehow I managed to brick my Xperia Go. My conclusion from similar posts is that the battery is completely drained. Yesterday evening when it happened, it at least vibrated when I attempted to switch on. If I tried to hold power and volume up buttons, it vibrated once at first and then after some time three times. Now (after being connected to the charger about 12 hours) it doesn't do even that. It switches on red led if connected to the charger and led switches off after some minutes. That's all. I'll try different charger and looking at options for servicing and so on, but more important for me is to understand why it happened.
The phone was charged more than 50% and FXP235 CM10 was installed. I updated it to the custom compiled CyanogenMod 10. It was fresh CyanogenMod 10 checkout (jellybean branch) with bunch of UI (strings) resources replaced and it was the first CM10 compile made. I've used CM9 in the past though and compiling CM10.1 for my Nexus devices every day. The fresh update was compiled on MacOSX 10.8 and some small fixes were made to compile it there. The only change relevant to lower levels than an UI was a small change to fix crosscompiling on Mac. After updating normally from bootloader, I rebooted the phone and it didn't switch on any more. The question is - why it happened? Is there any reasonable explanation how an update can cause it? Are there things I should look at? And so on ...

I can't reboot anything, doesn't matter softly or hardly . My guess is that battery is so drained that it doesn't even begin a charging. I guess that my only hope is to try to charge battery directly.

Just usual CyanogenMod checkout from jellybean branch, breakfast lotus, extract-files.sh with phone connected, get-prebuilts, adding one local repo for overlay and brunch lotus. I can't see many chances to get wrong files from anywhere.

No. I doesn't vibrate at all if I hold vol+ and power, or just try to turn it on, no matter how long I do it etc. The red LED turns on when I plug the phone into charger, but for 10 minutes only, then it turns off. And red LED doesn't blink when I try to turn phone on. I left phone connected to the charger for 24h and it didn't improve the situation any way.

OK, managed to restore my Go. Just as I guessed - the battery was drained and because of bad software (still don't know how it could happen) it wasn't really able to enter into charging mode. I managed to get an another Go and used the battery from this one temporarily (there is no need to really remove batteries from devices if you are careful) to reflash my Go. After that my Go began to charge its' battery again as well. Happy end.
