I'm sorry to hear about your reboot problem.
You could check if you get the same problem using another SIM card in the phone. If you only experience reboots when receiving calls maybe it could have something to do with the SIM card.
If not you can try to reinstall the phone software using Update Service. Found here: www dot sonyericsson dot com /updateservice

I have a P500 and I have this problem, when someone calls me and I press de answer button and I say "Hello" but the person doesn't hear me only after about 3 seconds and this is really annoying Is there a fix for this? I have seen that this problem occurs on other android phones and that there isnt really a fix for it.
I am using 2.3.3 stock.
try an application from market called Call Delay Patch Byteworks.cz
I also have this problem, with OpenOptimus ROM and Paolo kernel V5 the delay is smaller.
Are you doing underclock? if so try to raise the minimum freq and change the governor to smoothass.
No underclock no overclock, I am stock, no mods!
Yes, try installing Call Delay Patch from market

Thanks for providing this information. Gingerbread 2.3.4 was just released for the Incredible and I was having this exact problem. I did a quick site-wide search and found this solution (I too am running stock, besides being rooted). I will likely change my kernel and nothing else so I hope this fix works!
That crap is only a ROM issue as far as i see...it had same problems and later solved.....
I have a problem in my U.
Everytime someone calls me, first the led lights up, then it vibrates about 2-3 times in the middle starts ringing and only after all that the screen turns on so i can answer or reject the call.
After i answer a call sometimes it takes 3-5 sec to hear sound from the other phone, but the caller says he can hear me the whole time.
When receiving SMS, first the led lights up, then after a while it vibrates and after that it rings, but sometimes it doesn't ring.
Another thing, it lags to much to open the contacts, phone and messages app.
My wifes Tipo dual, opens almost instantly the phone app after i touch it.
I'm using The ROM, etc that are stated in my signature.
Please help!! Already tried different kernels, etc. :crying:
It can be something in the mods or it can be the rom itself.
Didi you get these bugs before the mods?
The stock rom sucks, mine did this as well, made the phone unusable.

Already had the excessive lag opening the apps with a fresh stock ROM. Honestly i put and did so many things that i don't know now.
But i installed the Sliding XU 3.3 kernel and it's working almost fine now, only has the original lags opening the apps of the stock ROM.

this problem happened on 6.2.a.0.400 check your version by going to Settings>About phone>Build number .. if it's 6.2.a.1.100 then thats the newest version and it should be fixed.. but if not, try installing the firmware again with Sony pc companion

that problem still persists in JB. when we fresh install the firmware it will be fine for a while and after a few days it will be back. better root your phone and get one of the roms.

This problem is there for everyone using JB .100 FW. If your bootloader is unlocked, try to flash custom kernels.
I had this problem when I was in stock ROM, And you may experience the problem like this, when you try to swipe the to attend call it stuck in half way, and then you have to lock the screen by pressing power button and then again to unlock screen, after that swiping to attend call.
As everyone said in this thread, switch your ROM.

I actually noticed something.. the reason our phone get slow( esp call log lag) after few days of installing firm ware is we install lot of apps. I just moved most of the apps to internal storage using app manager 3 and rebooted it. call log is now pretty responsve. i dint notice any lags either...Let me know if it works for you.

The log call lag is built in, There is a MOD that has very smooth log call but IMO more laggy in contact list *sigh* we can't have it all.
Lag solved

Hello every body, I'm Lucas from Argentina. I hope you can help me.. Sorry if my english is bad
I have the Sony Live with Walkman WT19a and.. everything worked good but slow.. So I decided to make a reset from the Android (not recoveries).. I HAVE ROOTED STOCK ROM
The first problem comes here... When I try to press the button Home I see that is detected (if the screen is blocked.. when I press this button the phone gets unblocked) BUT it doesn't work properly. I mean, when I'm in an app and I press Home... nothing happens..
Then I release that I can't answer the incoming calls. I just get informed that someone called me but I never could answer any call because the phone simply doesn't warn me.
The camera doesn't work..
I tried to flash it with Fashtool but it never gets into flashmode..
What can I do?
