After flashing GB Rom go in to recovery mode,
use three button combo- Volume up+Home+Power
When you enter it it,
Wipe data/factory reset, then reboot.
Actually some times boot loader prevents you booting the phone..
When it gets stuck take out the battery, boot to download and flash the old i9100 GB bootloader in PDA using Odin.File below. Its already a tar. so just put it in PDA and hit start without selecting anything else. When phone boots if it gets stuck then boot to download again and flash your kernel only.

Omg please help

Never seen it ask for password.
Also since vibrant never got GB update I never knew a mobile had compatible Odin packages.
Either way have you tried to flash via cwm?

No such thing as 2.3.X for our devices. Samsung never went past Froyo (2.2) with our phones. You probably flashed a I9000 Galaxy S ROM. ( a no-no)
Go into Download mode. Flash the T959 (Vibrant) Stock JFD (2.1) Odin package WITH repartition checked.
Use this to get back to stock and to do the rest. Don't be flashing anything that is for another phone, especially with Odin!

i9300 sat at samsung loading screen

Well hopefully you will be able to help me,
flashed quite a few phones and this one quite few times,
anyway was messing with a JB rom ,
rebooted but the rom messed up and would not boot the phone.
fair enough recovery mode.
Flashed original rom back on to the phone via odin.
then just sits at the samsung screen
ok
then flashed the original rom via kies using recovery mode the flashed again fine
reboot , just sits at the samsung loading screen(fell asleep woke up 4 hours later still at same screen)
tried flahing with odin a insecure rom just incase same problem
reflashed stock rom from odin/ then via kies again
still on boot stills at samsung screen
any one please got any ideas
thanks
martin
Which JB rom not the leaked version i hope .
If its a JB custom rom then you have the standard problem that requires total wipe of the phone .
jje
What jb ROM was it? Also did Odin say pass?

so how do i do a full wipe then of the phone ?
thx
It was aromas JB install, from inside CWM, but need to be reset as would not boot past boot graphics.
When i flash via odin it says success (i have flashed this rom on to it before)
thx
Run the flash with odin , with rom stock samsung from here : http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ , then if remains in bootloop ( stopped at the start screen logo ) , enters into recovery mode ( vol.up home power ) , and then makes a wipe date , factory reset and reboot now ...
wella wipe worked and booting again
thx

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S2 is stuck at Boot Logo after factory reset.....

Hi All
I have a rooted GT-9100 phone with Jelly bean official Samsung Rom installed.
Build No : JZ054K.I9100XWLST
Baseband Ver. : I9100DDLS9
In the last few days i was having problems with many apps, and phone is restarting automatically. so i decided to do factory reset, after that as always the starter mode wanted me to select the language, after asked to update Time and date which i did and then suddenly the screen went black.
It started to reboot and since then the phone is stuck at the Samsung Logo.
what now? any suggestions?
FYI: I have rooted device with Siyah Kernel 3.0.31.
Regards,
Sourabh J
Please Help....

same issue
hello, i know this is a 6 months old thread but this is the first time now i found someone with the same issue.
Firstly i played around with flashing shiyah with sort of worked but i never had root acces, but thats not the problem here.
I did a factory reset when phone was stable and everything broke. It would boot up untill the language select, screen dims a bit after 1 sec, and then it restarts. When shiyah kernel is on there it will just stay stuck on the samsung text after boot after that. When i flashed stock kernel etc it would boot up the same at first, crash on language select. and then show the samsung boot animation over and over (not the sound though thats only the first time). in CWM recovery of shiyah whiping cache reset and dalvik wont help..
i find it strange that it broke on the factory reset.
Did you manage to solve this ?

So flash a stock rom with Odin to get back to square one ? You've probably flashed a version of Siyah that's incompatible with what you're currently running (Android version-wise). Once you've done that, flash PhilZ to root your phone+CWM & go from there (if you want to persist with Siyah, read the thread thoroughly to ensure you're flashing the correct version for the Android version you're running).
If simply flashing stock doesn't fix the problem, do a factory reset after you flash the stock rom. If that doesn't work, find Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General, download the 3 part firmware linked to in the thread & flash that (this will wipe your phone).

HARDWARE VERSION: I545.07
ANDROID 5.0.1
KNOX: 2.3
sorry for my bad english i will appriciate any help
Do research on the forums before flashing recoveries on a locked bootloader. You will have to do an odin reset to fix this, you cant get CM
Oh so how can i do that odin reset can you please tell me which files do i need ?
actually i can get to stock recovery from rom manager what would happen if i wipe reset from there ?
What to do...
Type Odin on XDA search.... then you will know about Odin.
Go to SAMmobile and find the firmware for the phone.
considering that you learned about Odin and how it works on the first step, flash it.
Good Luck!
So it would not work if i wipe factory reset from stock recovery ?
No. Wipe factory reset will not fix it
