I can't find on the net ICS a WPA supplicant that enables me to detect my laptop ADHOCK connection in order to share it's 3G with my phone.. I used that when I was GB but now under stock ICS I can't find one .. Help please

can any one please tellme hw to share internet frm my pc on to my xperia x10.xperia wont detect adhoc connection so wifi wont do.....tried bzeek but its too lagging,...can some one ..suggest smthng...by the by.... am on wolfbreak CM6.1.3

this method worked only on stock rom for me. On other roms, I got wifi errors, I am using Bzeek to create hotspot on windows vista.

Hi .. I've U8180 With Froyo Rom .. I want to Connect To my ad Hoc Connection .. I tried lot of apps and Changed Wpa_sublicant FIle But Wifi Says searching Then Close ! I can Conect using Cm7 But i want it to work on Froyo

Unfortunately froyo doesn't support ad-hoc but there are possibly ways around it.

Oh and are you just replacing the wpa_sublicant file or pushing it through adb?

It seems to be a working method/work around for Ad-hoc networks
Unfortunately I don't use Ad-hoc or Android 2.2.2 just CM7 on my U8180 so its difficult for me to test the methods.
Hi friends i'm useing s3 and i tried to use WiFi Direct.. i m not able to use this feature....it just connects to the other wifi direct phone there is no option for share via wifi....also no incoming file is received via wifi direct...???
