And I'm wondering does taking wpa-supplicant from AOSP rom will make it detect ad-hoc?

Hi folks,
Ive almost succesfully ported a Huashan Gingerbread 2.3.2 / Sense 2.1 rom but theres one frikkin thing that just wont go away.
My 3g/hspda/mobile data wont connect. Wifi works fine
Anyone experienced enough knows what files are responsible for the mobile internet connection?
Ive already replaced:
-libhtc_ril.so
-libhtc_rilwrapper.so
-libril.so
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: Ive searched my socks off. All guides and tuts are outdated and wont resolve this issue

Are in build.prop
Those are also the files you need to connect to network.

I use a ROM form overcome for my tab 10.1 ...
I added a lot of things to this ROM,,like scripts themes etc
now the portable hotspot in my setting don't work ok,,
I can see the network on my laptop but when I connect I don't get IP or somthing..
I tried app from the market and it works !!

I can't find on the net ICS a WPA supplicant that enables me to detect my laptop ADHOCK connection in order to share it's 3G with my phone.. I used that when I was GB but now under stock ICS I can't find one .. Help please
Hi friends i'm useing s3 and i tried to use WiFi Direct.. i m not able to use this feature....it just connects to the other wifi direct phone there is no option for share via wifi....also no incoming file is received via wifi direct...???
if someone has tried it successfully plz share it...!!!
