shut down your device, then power on by simultaneously pressing the power button, home button and volume down key then reflash firmware using odin from your pc following the guide in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671969
had the same happen to me
Flash odin version of checkrom or look for "cwm 6.0.10" tar version.look in development

OK just boot back into recovery by pressing volume up, power button and home button at the same time. Redownload the Rom on P.C or laptop and transfer over to phone.

+1 and also if your kernel allows you to mount sd cards via cwm then just do it and flash it.

enter into cwm , connect it to your pc, try mounting your sd card from the mounts and storage option, if your internal or sd card gets mounted just copy the downloaded rom to any one of those card and flash it .
If the above method doesn't work its better to flash via odin
Hi all,,
I have an SGS2 and have problems with getting the SWM to mount the SD card to the PC, it is corrupted i think,
Where can I get a new CWM and how do I install it ?
Thanks
Ian
You can get into recovery itself though right? Just flash Siyah or something (make sure the kernel matches your framework i.e. GB or ICS). There quite a few if you look in the development forums.
Incidentally what kernel are you using? I can't mount my storage via recovery with CF-Root LP7 kernel, but i've tried it with other kernels again such as Siyah and it works fine.
I'm assuming you're rooted etc and on a custom rom or something?
The CWM file in my Infuse 4g is corrupt. When holding down volume up + volume down and pressing power button; CWM restore comes up but is garbled. I can not use it. Is there anyway to solve this? The phone is bricked.
Wrong forum. Try here (Report your OP & ask mods to move your thread to Infuse Q&A).

I had the same problem. Solved.it by flashing.xsx kernel. I think its just that you need.to reflash kernel with fastboot.
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app

yes also already fix my xps..try this..
1.download xps ics rom(.ftf must be 600+mb)
2.download the latest flashtool (v0.9.7) then install
3.copy .ftf(ics rom) then paste in the C:\Flashtool\firmwares
4. goto C:\Flashtool\drivers then run then mark "xperia s for ics, fastboot driver and flashboot driver"
5.goto C:\Flashtool\ then select flashtool64 if your comp is 64bits,
6.click the thunderbolt at the left side then mark flashmode
7.select lt26i then ok then do not touch anything just wait to flash until a dialog bo will pop up to connect your device
8.turn off you xps then trigger in flashmode by pressing vol+ then power, release the the two keys until green led light
9.wait to flash the stock ics
10. if finished disconnect your xps then reboot (note:first reboot it takes to long)
11.enjoy stock ics rom
I was happily running on 4.2.2 from AOKP.
Did myself everything wrong, including wipe and format my tab !
I am left with CWM Recovery v4.0.0.4. and a data USB cable with a key and all needed files.
But I have not been able to copy (yet) any of them on my Tab including with Odin3 v3.07
Mount USB storage do not work with Recovery CWM !
Suggestion ?

you probably have a bad recovery. use this guide to flash a new recovery, or go back to stock and reflash (if you so desire)
if you already know how to flash stuff, i recommend this version of CWM to flash before flashing some other ROM.
remember not to go back to the version of CWM that I linked after flashing a ROM
ill try that thanks
cwm installs fine still not mounting but in cwm sd will mount but when i try to flash gos in a loop (waiting for sd to mount) any ideas dont know if phone was rooted be for think someone tried to

Do you have a different SD card? If so, try that.
