stuck in boot loop help - Motorola Droid RAZR

ok i rooted my verizon razr last night and installed safestrap to start testing roms, did a back up came back with an error, tried to turn off the app and wouldnt go off "safe mode enabled" tried a restore no go; did a quick shut off of safe mode and app turned off. So now my droid stuck in boot loop and when i try the power, volume down and up menu to where it will wipe the cell it says it cant and i get a pic of droid with a red exclamation mark coming out of stomach..haha anyways ive tried the fast boot process from unlocker.com but the video/tutorial is trying to flash gingerbread and i was on OTA ICS, well i tried it anyways and its a no go either. so...if anyone can point me in the right directions it would be great ive been without a phone since last night and im going nuts going through youtube and forums looking for a solution and not luck thanks in advance!!

When you get the droid with an exclamation mark press both keys and you'll be in recovery. There wipe cache/data. and try to restart. If it do not boot, you have to recover with Matt utility 1.8.1 if I'm not wrong 'bout the version.
!
Cheers

You will have to be more specific than this...
Have you tried wiping Cache Partition and/or Dalvik Cache
When i boot the phone it never fully boots, when it finally gets to my lock screen the android system does not load. I can't do anything at all. I havent tried to root or anything. it just started and there was no reason why
the phone has finally booted to where my homepage would be but its a black screen that says android system on it and thats all. i can get to no apps or anything,
Im going too take a wild guess and say you either tried too install cwm without being rooted or u did not properly unlock your bootloadeR. Which is the case? Because this would not just happen did u read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1302423

You might have to use rsd lite to flash a stock rom. If you look thru the posts in the dev section you will find what your looking for. I believe the post is labeled but don't quote me, how to root after sbf flash. I know it's something like that.
Read up on using rsd lite it's very easy once you read about it.
Best of luck to you.
If I can be of any further help feel free to pm me and I'll do my very best.

Sounds like you should factory reset.
Turn off phone
Hold volume down and press power
Continue holding volume down until it says fastboot in upper left corner
Release volume down
Press volume down until you get android recovery in upper left corner
Press volume up
Find factory reset option ( not sure where since I don't have factory recovery anymore)

AT&T Galaxy S II Black Screened

Agh!
I recently rooted my SGH-I777, flashed it using Clockword Mod Recovery, and then rebooted into recovery using CWM. But instead of rebooting into the recovery menu, everything went black. Now my phone won't reboot into recovery mode at all (not even with the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power combo). Instead, it gives me the Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 startup screen with the yellow triangle and then the screen goes all black, with quick flashes of dark gray.
When I removed the battery (to get it out of the black screen loop), returned the battery to the device, and plugged it in (without powering up the phone), the "charging" screen with the charging battery indicator flashed on the screen for a moment, and then back to all black flashes.
I removed the battery, SD card, and SIM card for about 20 minutes because I've read that can sometimes help. No dice.
I'm running ICS 4.0.3 with a Siyah 3.4.2 kernel.
This is probably either really bad or no big deal and I'm lame for not figuring it out, but... HELP! (Please? :fingers-crossed: ) I know this has been asked, but the other threads I've found have been able to get to recovery mode, whereas I can't seem to get to that point.
If you need any other info, let me know!

The phone is not even entertaining the idea of giving me a menu of any sort at this point. Just all black screens. Super frustrating.

No d/l mode, no CWM. = brick.
no offense but im pretty sure your just not holding the buttons right.
CWM= hold both vol, then hold power, let the first screen blink once, come back, then let off power is my trick.
download, you can just hold vol buttons and insert USB belive.
Somebody used rom manager!

A-ha! Ok, so definitely no on the CWM combo, but I do get a menu using DL mode. Thank you. Seeing at least a menu made me feel much better.
I re-flashed the initial kernel, but no change. Still stuck in perpetual black screen boot loop.
I'm not opposed to doing a full-fledged wipe using Odin, if that's an option, but I've never looked into it before, and I'm currently feeling pretty gun shy when it comes to getting creative with any new tricks.

If you want stock, flash a stock ROM, or stock with root, with Odin.
If you want custom, after you flashed that custom kernel, you CAN get into CWM and flash a custom ROM.
and NEVER use ROM manager, hell it was a joke when it came out, sorry koush
EDIT:
and if you do go custom, dont forget to wipe data/factory reset in CWM before flashing.

You rock. Thank you a ton for being so patient!!
To any other fool who gets into the same mess, I went into DL mode (volume up + volume dwn + usb attached) and opted to let this do the rest of the work because it was the only option that didn't give me a heart attack: androidarea51.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii/samsung-galaxy-sii-(sgh-i777)-att-only/
From there, I had the option of rebooting, initializing a factory reset... all of the menu options I wasn't seeing when I couldn't figure out how to get into CWM mode. Good luck!!

I know, I know (and this is a dumb excuse, much like using rom manager in the first place), but the tutorial I was reading made it seem like it was a good option. I hadn't used it in forever and logic coupled with faith in a perpetually broken system paves the road to hell, but I figured, "There's no way it still sucks as badly as I remember!"
Don't think that. Ever. My mistake.

Samsung Galaxy s2 i-777 does not turn on
okay so I read through this thread and I still don't know how to fix my issue. I rooted my phone using Odin v 1.85 and used siyah 3.4.2. I did it successfully and everything was good. I then gave the phone to my cousin and he said he performed a factory reset to get rid of everything on the phone ( contacts ,etc). Now when I turn on the phone it shows the samsung galaxy display with the triangle and then the screen goes black and just blinks. It still goes back into download mode I just dont know what to do to fix the problem. I know I'm a noob but please HELP!!!

You can Hard reset with press vol-, home and power at time
or put on the USB cab then press vol+ and power button to start S/W Update , in the Computer using KDZ update to reinstall SoftWare for LG L9
I was thinking about trying to root the phone but seems like I might mess it up. A lot of steps.

You've not even tried and your phone is bootlooped? How do you it will clear booting after a hard reset, have you tried? Does it bootloop again once youve restored your apps?
No I haven't done anything to the phone conceive gotten it back in January. I am running jellybean tho. For two straight days if I restarted my phone after the hard 're s st it would stick either on the t-mobile 4g screen or load all the way up and the screen would switch from" android is updating" "loading apps" to my home screen. But phone would finish. I Let it sit for two hours like that. And nothing happened so I just hard reset it and it has worked fine since then. And I have restarted it since then. I was thinking it was my dad's cheap car charger doing it?..

[Q] Can't Boot Droid Razr (xt912)

So, Just Last Night I Rooted My Friend's Motorola Droid Razr (xt912) and installed Cyanogenmod on KitKat 4.4. It Was Working Fine and All Until He Decided to Go into Safestrap and Wipe the Stock ROM That was installed because he thought he wouldn't ever use it. He Went Back to The Cyanogenmod ROM and Activated it, and Rebooted to System. When Booting Up, It Just Gets Stuck on The Red Motorola M. It Will Go Into the Boot Menu but We Can't Find a Solution. Any Ideas on How To Get This Phone To Work Again?

If it is charging then yes let it charge. The problem is that it probably will not charge and you will likely need the special factory cable.
I have seen some posts where people were able to get the phone to start charging again without the factory cable. You may want do some searching if you are having charging problems.
Here's a link: https://forums.motorola.com/posts/8df247065b

Yeah You're Right, The White Charge Light Will Come on But It Will Just Not Really Charge.
I Tried Doing This- www . youtube . com/watch?v=LtA4OU2xha4 But Once I Click The Tools and The Motorola M Goes Away, It Stays at a Black Screen Until I Turn it Off.
Now, I am Going To Try This- www . youtube . com/watch?v=XwwI_6doBWk Which I am Assuming is a Factory Cable or Something Like That.

[Q] [HELP] XT910 stuck on M logo after flashing with RSD Lite

Hey guys. I'll tell you what is happening with my phone.
I had SlimKat + JBX Kernel on the stock rom slot. Now I'm selling the phone, so i flashed the JB 4.1.2 retail Brazil (i'm from southamerica and that's the firmware we use) with RSD Lite. The whole process is OK, until the last step "reboot"... After that the phone is stuck in the second M logo, the one with waves around it.
The phone shows the Android logo that is like setting up the phone. Once that is done, it reboots, and here is the problem. The phone gets stuck in the M logo: not in the first one, but the second one (the M logo that has like some waves around it).
I don't know what to do since im 100% sure the firmware im using is the right one, the RSD Lite version is OK (6.1.5) and the whole process is OK until the phone reboots to load JB.
I think the JB IS installed, because that M with the waves around it is the animation OF the firmware. So the phone isn't sending me to the place where you config the phone for the first time (such as language, accounts, etc).
PLEASE i need your help guys. Thanks

Have checked with MD5 and the file matches with the source, so guess the problem isn't the file, and that left me in comma until now as what might be the real issue on this phone.
my phone is xt910
manufactured in China and had Jelly Bean as its stock rom.
