If you did not find the correct CF-root kernel then read carefully the section starting with Help! Which file do I use ? found in the thread you referenced.

Yes. With this information (PDA I9100BULPD) you will easily find the corresponding CF-root kernel in the thread you were referencing in your first post. If unsure, read the section I mentioned in my previous post. To root your phone just follow the instructions step by step carefully.
By the way: I used the same CF-root kernel to root my own phone

If you are just looking for easy rooting process then use method 1 from guide in my signature.

thanks! i was able to root my phone with your procedure, now im thinking of installing a new ROM in my phone, i want stability and speed. My default VF ROM has become slow as hell and unstable. Do you recomend me to reset my phone to factory defaults or to try a diferent ROM??

Factory reset + wipe cache is always good first step to try. If it doesn't help then try different ROM.

As I am a total noob with this stuff I don't know the difference between Rom And Kernel. I was having a look at paranoidroid but people are having problems with it.. Is that a rom or a kernel? Is there a reliable combination of all this? I don't want to mess too much and have problems...
I have another question, as my phone is VF, how can I unlock it to use any company I want?
Thanks for your time guys

Care to share how you managed to root your device?
I did a search here. And i found the right CF-ROOT for my device. I used ODIN to ROOT the device. Then i used the CWM to install SlimICS rom. I dont know how to explain more. But if you search in the forum you will find almost any answer. I hope it helped.

First thing search for cf-root for your device. On the cf-root page you will understand how to identify the correct file for you. Download the file. Use odin following details about how to use it. Get your phone in download state. Volume down+power button+home button. Odin will detect your phone. After cf-root its time to install a custom rom. I use slimics look at the forum for it and the way to install it on your phone. I hope this helped you.

you dowloaded cwm after rooting?
better you stay away from rom manager, root with CF-root, you will get the app CWM manager with similar functions to Rom manager, will work withall the custom kernels for SGS2

You've been given more than enough links.
See rule #1.
Don't be lazy.
EDIT to add: I should clarify - Not I nor anyone else can tell you what you should do next to your phone. If you want to root it or otherwise modify it, the links already provided to you will (eventually) lead you to the information you seek.
You seem to be asking what people here should advise you to do to your phone. How should we know? We don't know what you want to do, or what your tastes are. Everyone likes different things. Someone's idea of a cool modification may not be my idea of a cool modification. Or yours. Understand?
you can do wat you want with it wipe your ass with it for all we care haha

Some assistance with CF Root

I have been reading all day and I would like a bit of advice.
I cannot seem to find a CR Root version remotely close for me to choose.
My kernel version is:
3.0.31-894915
[email protected] #3
... I hope this isn't a silly question but I appreciate any assistance.

It isn't written anywhere that you must root using CF - root. You have a huge range of different kernels that will root your device when flashed with Odin.

Go back & re-read the bit in the CFRoot thread in bold red which says 'Help ! Which file do I use ?'. Slowly. Carefully. Several times.

Ok, I read it. Super super slow making sure to sound out all the hard words.
I understand that finding the exact match is not crucial but it seems I cannot even get in the same ballpark.

So, It does not seem very important to get kernel that matches your stock one.
Is there a generic kernel for the Galaxy S2?

[Q] .:New Method to root Andoid:.

Hello,
I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300. Bought this device last April. At that time I was completely new to rooting device. I didn't know what to do. I searched online about rooting device, read many post by users in various blogs and threads here in XDA. Then I was very curious to root my device. But even then, though i knew what rooting was and its merits and demerits, i had no idea how to root my device. So I started searching again for an easy and fast way to root my device. Then I came me across the framaroot thread here and thanks to the developer of Framaroot, I was able to root my android safely without any problems. It was a very useful app for beginners who had no idea about rooting.
After few months, I received a firmware update. I had no idea what changes it would bring about in my device. In a hope to find out the new features, I updated the firmware. But sadly, there wasn't any noticeable change. So once again I seeked the help of framaroot to root my device. I was left with an error message and didn't know what to do. Again by searching on Google, I came to know about the OTA update about which I had no idea prior to the firmware update. I realized that the OTA update was a curse to Android rooting and I was left with my boring stock rom without anything. Today again I searched all over the Internet for a very safe and easy method to root my device but couldn't find anything like the framaroot. So here I am kindly requesting, the deveopers to kindly update the already existing methodsor make a new easy method to root android devices so that people new to android can experiment and enjoy root features. Sorry for the long story, thought it might be useful by explaining everything in detail. Hope I have not violated any of the XDA rules. If I did, I apologise for that too but please don't remove this thread. It would be very nice if anyone can find a solution as there are many people in the same situation as I am right now.
Thanking XDA and all the developers for there services.

Thanks for the post. Nevers seen this before. I will surely try it out. I have heard about odin before but was not confident to use it as I thought it may brick my device. Is there any root apps like Framaroot that can help make the process a lot faster and easier without the use of a computer.

1- Its the fastest and most reliable method I femilliar with- just follow the vid orders step by step (according to your device model), and no harm
should be made (unless you plug out your device in the middle of the process, or using a different model type- but even those can be resolved).
2- No apps that I know. Although i would not recommend it even if I found one- just seems too riksy than using the computer...
Basically all the OP questions are answered in the faqs and guides .
Root is constantly updated as and when possible but its not a simple question of just making a new one . Read the relevant root threads .

If it was only that easy on S3 would save a lot of trouble ..yep follow instructions in thread and use PhilZ .tar.md5 not the zip file and if you are flashing CM 11 you do not need to root the rom is already rooted.

Without giving you a long explanation you flash custom roms in recovery (.zip files) and stock roms (.tar) in odin and same for recoveries.

Something is tempting me to try it out. Lol. If it works, i will report it here and it will help other s3 users too. At the same time, something prevents me from doing it. I get a feeling of bricking my device. Then I will have to fix that too
Before I do something like that, can u predict if it may work since the same method worked for the N7000 or can u tell me if have you tried it before? (Please tell me if I am annoying u, it doesn't matter )
