Hi everyone..
I have bought a new sony tab s.. without 3g.. so i have some doubts regarding getting started with.. first of all, how can i connect my tab to the PC and write datas on my internal memory.. secondly, by any method, wil i be able to connect my idea net setter or bsnl evdo(capitel) to my tab... Please help me out with these two doubts...

get a sony usb to micro usb cable because others meigh not work. an usb cable for HP pad i have doesn't work on sony tablet s1, i had to use the usb calbe that came with a sony phone.
then, search for a sony tablet s1 driver here on forum. install that, and connect your sony s1 tablet after.

Hello all, ive got a new Tablet the GoClever TAB I71 works good but i wanted to root the device. There the problem started i didnot get a USB cable to connect it to my PC co im stuck whit the rooting APK programs but any of them are working. Currentli im running Android 2.3.3. Tryed GingerBreak 1.30, zRoot, nothing i wanted to try the SuperOnClick method but i dont hawe a cable the tablet doesent have a standart mini/micro USB but a wired connector for the USB/ETH Hub. Can anyone help me root this device ? Thx
Hi guys, i'm new around here.
I got an xperia x10i which i can't update it to the last version of android. Curently i'm using the 2.1 update1 version.
The problem is that i can't connect it on my PC to update it, i got a problem with my usb connection and my pc can't recognise the phone so no possible update.
I wonder if is any other way to update the android without a direct connection to pc through a cable. Something through a microSD or anything....
Can you guys give a little help or is not possible without a pc connection?

Unless you repair your usb connection or you find a way to unlock your phone via a phone app, it wouldn't be possible. Once unlocked there are some options (like installing xrecovery) .

Hello , i`m new here and from a long time ago i have a problem with my sony ericsson Xperia x10i ... in the past i bought this phone and few days ago i wanted to update adroid version (actually 2.1) but i`ve been surprised because when i want to connect usb cable from phone to laptop , the phone is only charging , i don`t know what to do , i`ve tried many times but still the same problem ... can you help me ? thank you

I do not know if you tried .- but to enable usb acces you need to enable it on the phone after you connect it to PC. Scroll down the Status bar and tap Turn on USB storage

Bought a Vibe Z K910 from China 2 months ago and I'm happy with it. But last week something weird happened and I cannot connect phone to PC with cable. That is not a problem of driver; neither PC nor phone react when I connect the USB cable. But it charges the battery on the other hand. Another significiant weird stuff is that I cannot open USB PC connection (Media device/USB / ....) from settings menu. The page comes and goes in 1/2 seconds each time... BTW, I'm running VIBEUI_v2.0_1433_4_st_k910_baralajbi rom..
My question is that what you guys think if this is a software problem or hardware (broken solder or something) ??? Should I try factory reset or is there any other way to fix it because I dont wanna try to setup all apps.

Hello everyone, i am new to xda developer forum.
So lets get straight to the problem, my xperia e cant connect to my pc via usb data cable. I tried to buy a new usb cable, but still doesnt work. Its like the problem is not on my pc, cause i cant connect it to my other pc, please help. Thanks.
