Galaxy SII does not turn at all. Has a solution? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sorry for my English, translate of portuguese to english on Google Translate, but please, help me
Guys, good morning.
My Galaxy SII was giving that crazy not to recognize the chip (in the case of TIM) and follow the tutorial Retrieve the IMEI in Steps 5 and he returned to funfar good.
Just what I wanted to reset it and put a more updated ROM on it and I am following a tutorial **** Galaxy S (after I am **** I saw that it was not for S and SII).
More specifically the tutorial "Zeroing In Matheusgomes Fabrica Galaxy S". AI has ever seen, right, was in Odin Set Partition in more than one hour, as the phone was warming up, not much else was and not leave the Set Partition, I decided to take the USB cable.
That is my mistake I think was put differently pit on my phone, and now does not care to pray mad, does not load, does not enter download mode and not recovery, turned weight w / paper.
Someone on the forum can help me with this brick? I am grateful now. Thank you!

[Q] white screen htc diamond 2 t5388i clon chinese [help me]

Good
Searching the internet I came here to change the rom of my phone, use the hard reset and did not have any problem in the process, then asks me to restart the phone, restarted, and when a screen turns white and does not come out of it, no more than anything.
I'm a little desperate now, I know there is a high-value mobile but it cost me to raise the money to buy it, I hope you have a solution and can help me.
From already thank you very much
PS: sorry for my bad English, I am South American
Sounds like you flashed and incompatable ROM or didn't use hard_spl either way go over to the htc official website - click support find your device and it will list some stock ROMs download an official ROM using the S/N from underneath the battery - Make sure the battery has plenty of charge - plug into your PC and load the stock htc ROM file this should take you through all the standard ROM flash info and will then flash the stock ROM onto your device. Hopefully this will flash back to stock for you and no more white screen.
Good luck and let us know how it went

I think that what you say is only for original phone htc diamond 2, since according to official rom I read are for the real htc diamond 2.
The mine is not original, as it says is a Chinese clone t5388i, please follow the screen in white, would greatly appreciate if someone helps me out of this problem is quite afflicted.
Again sorry for my bad English
sorry missed the clone bit on your topic . I don't have a clone myself so no ideas if the hard reset works. Might be a good idea to post which ROM you flashed to it
good day
the mobile screen just stayed white and does not know how I can flash now, there will be someone who has been the same and have a solution? I appreciate it, I would be very helpful.
Greetings
HTC_NEW, please check this topic. It's dedicated to the clone phones (except the T5388++ who has it's own topic)
There is a tool called k3AID available who could help you. It's posted in that topic about 50 posts ago. I have a copy if you need it.
There is also another possibility to do a blind flash. This means the screen is not working but the phone can still be flashed. First thing is get the correct firmware for your phone because each time you flash the phone can get bricked / defect.
If my feedback helps you to solve your problem, please give me a thanks on the post.

OK - I can summarize my experiencies:
IDT flash... I think everybody who is doing this experiments have this software...
K3AID... h++p://www.ulozto.cz/6556122/k3firstaid-exe
can switch phone to "download" state even if the HW keys are not working
it suppose working ActiveSync connection (downloaded from mobileuncle com) not my own sw...
Sometimes may be a bit dificult to get K3AID working.. it can show some error message like "RTM state Error" - You need to install h++p://www.ulozto.cz/6556123/cabviaactivesync-1-5-setup-exe
and h++p://www.ulozto.cz/6556124/gb-ppc-2-1-3-20090929-cab
it is only summarize of my experiences - none of this utility is mine, so use it on your own risk

@HTC_NEW: Did you do the following steps according to reeprich instructions? What was the end result?
I did read that you used the calibration menu but I expect that you should use the download firmware menu. Is that available? ( I had the software installed but my virus scanner complained that there is a virus in the tmp file...) What's more important if your phone does not work anymore... Please be aware that this is a possible virus.
Removing the battery for a couple of minutes can help for restarting the phone.

P.S.Please remember, flashing your phone with a wrong ROM is the safest way to brick (damage) it. So do not do it if it isn’t really necessary!

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Player 5 Bricked? Help please!

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Player 5 / S Wifi 5.0 / YP-G70 from eBay (International Version). I tried flashing a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Gingerbread ROM to it with Odin v1.3 and now it won't even light up or turn on. I thought it might work because the device is just like the I9000 without the phone. My device even tried looking for a cellular signal when it clearly did not have the phone capabilities. Now I'm afraid that I spent all this money for nothing.
I've tried every button combination to try to enter download mode and have tried a USB jig from eBay, but since the device doesn't light up or turn on I can't tell if anything has worked aside from Odin not recognizing the device.
Please help!
Update 1:
I've tried Heimdall and that too does not recognize the device. I've also opened the device up and tried buttons combinations with and without the battery and plugging in the device to my computer. Still no success. I think it still "works" because when I plug it in to charge, the back gets warm.
Update 2:
Okay, so I've placed an order to MobileTechVideos.com for their JTAG repair service. From other posts, I've concluded that I probably messed up the bootloader. I'll see how this goes.
Update 3:
Unfortunately MTV wasn't able to repair my device so I got a refund. They'll notify me if they get one working.
Update 4:
MTV found a working solution! I just received my repaired device in the mail today and it works like brand new! XD
go to nearest service center that would be helpful for u !

Thanks for the advice. Any other suggestions for the time being?

[Q] iOS to Android and screwed up big time!

Hi there,
After two days of continuous efforts to resolve the issue and reading hundreds of articles and forum threads, I have tried everything to fix the problem to no avail.
I have just recently started using Android (Samsung Galaxy S3 I900T) It was purchased in New Zealand. When my iPhone died, I decided to try Android as I was getting a little sick of iOS. Anyway, since I am a total noob, I followed a great guide here on XDA forums to install a custom ROM. I installed Paranoid following step by step instructions and LOVED it. Everything was working well and I was happy with the "lollipop" as Jellybean was laggy and slow.
I then tried a couple of apps for various tasks that asked me to 'root' the device. I did not really care for it until Cleanmaster asked me to. So I installed an app (can't even remember the name) and it rebooted the phone. Now it is just stuck at "Samsung Galaxy SIII" white logo.
I tried to go into recovery mode by pressing Volume up + Home button + power and it simply won't work. Pressing volume down button however does bring the "Download mode".
According to many articles I have read, it seems my phone is soft bricked. Is there anyone who could help me to fix my phone? I am desperate and would highly appreciate any assistance! Please be kind as I am new to Android OS and pretty much a noob.
I will be checking for replies every 30 minutes in anticipation there might be someone knowledgable here to help me out.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may need to assist me and I will try my best to answer them as technically as possible.
Thank you in advance!
PS- I beg your pardon if I posted this in the wrong section or if I have not given enough information.

Hi Tallman, thank you for your response. I am currently downloading the recommended firmware (916 MB, 2 days left till completion )
While its being downloaded, I have another question: whenever I connect my phone in "Downloading mode" by pressing volume down + home + power, Odin does not even pickup on the device. It is almost like nothing is even connected. I have installed the latest Samsung driver on my PC.
Would the flashing work if Odin is not even recognizing or acknowledging my device?
Thanks

You have to wait while your stock rom is checked and in the pda box then it should recognize it look here for guides >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/guide-odin-flash-guide-t1671969 << Also I noticed in your first post you put Galaxy S3 I900T did you miss spell S3 I900 because it should be S3 I9300

Indeed, that was my bad. That is why I am so glad I have finally found someone like an expert yourself. The model is GT-I9300T. I missed the 3 in the original post. I believe (I might be wrong) the 'T' is for all the phone sets issued by Telecom (now rebranded as Spark) in Australia and New Zealand.
I have managed to download around 16 MBs lol.
Once again, appreciated your help dude :good:
My suggestion is connect your phone and keep it with Samsung kies for recovery. It would bring your phone back to purchased state.

Thanks for the response.
Kies does not detect any phone. Could it be due to the fact that the bootscreen is stuck in loop? I was loving my Custom paranoid ROM until some motherlicking app forced booted the phone in order to "root it".
I do not want to switch back to iOS and thats why I am so desperate to get my S3 fixed. I have put my SIM in my iPhone until Galaxy gets fixed.
Its strange how much I supported everything Apple back in the and how I much I dislike it now. It's like I have divorced Apple and now my Android mistress is acting up too. :silly:
Odin is too sensitive i guess i too have a s3 GT-I9300 and i have noticed that all usb cords dont work on odin. Try to change the cord it works. The shorter the better. It will surely detect just change the usb cord or try to connect to another usb port.

[Q] bricked GT-i9300???

Hello,
I have a Samsung galaxy S3 I9300.
I had a couple problems with my Phone. Camera not working, boot loops, stuck on bootanimation. All of these problems are fixed.
But now the big problems are beginning.
When I turn on the Phone I see the samsung s3 logo over and over again (boot loop). But when I put the Phone on the charger or usb it boot normally.
And when my Phone is running (on charger or usb), It can't connect to the network and I see red and green stripes in the screen.
So my Phone can only run on a charger, because when i take of the charger, the Phone turns off and restart with the bootloop.
I have tried another good battery, but it didn't work.
I tried to install custom kernels etc. but everything is back to stock now.
Can somebody help??
Kind regards,
Casper
P.S.: Sorry for bad English, I come from the Netherlands.
@casperlutt: hi casper, Hollanders praten meestal prima engels, toch?
If you've installed the right actual firmware for your phone, it's the hardware. Maybe battery: it's only good, if it works satisfying in another phone. Further USB-socket: cheap to repair. Or display/mainboard: repair IMHO not very efficient for this old lady.
Hello,
Thanks for helping me, i really appreciate that.
I have the problems fixed, but now i have a problem with a bad IMEI number.
I have no backup of the IMEI. Is there any way to repair this without paying for this?
Kind regards,
Casper

Ok i find a solution
This is really very boring ...
Here is how I did.
Having some idea in electronics and batteries, I remember that there are certain specific management with working with batteries, a friend, I lost contact since my affimé ago lontemps that 4 battery connectors had the specifications on the telephone, and to repair Phones in technical centers it change the battery with a special, with just 2 pins, the positive and the negative.
I put paper between the positive and the negative of my battery and miracle, I manage to detect the phone ..
I tested this on my samsung s6, HTC OneX and a Galaxy S3 + lg windows phone ... under whose IMEI is cleared) ... Is work perfectly.
So i create after-a tutorial for D620 / D620FR / D620R
I love that
Ok it's a luck, and now, is impossible to renew a experience...
OOooo Yes, ok i understand now..
It's not 2 pins, but 3pins...
I have a screenshot
