Not for what you are asking for. (replacing existing battery icon)

If JKay doesn't work out, you could try downloading and using GSam Battery from the play store. It gives you the green circle battery meter you're looking for, albeit on the left side of the notification bar. You can then choose to hide the original battery meter, if your ROM allows it. (I know AOKP ROMs do) Doesnt really qualify as a workaround, but hey..

Using UOT kitchen you can create the battery mod yourself.

[Q] Porting Battery % from Note ICS

Hi guys!!
I noticed that Samsung has released the ICS update for the Galaxy Note!
I've seen many videos on youtube and discovered that they have introduced an option that allows to show Battery % in the status bar, without flashing anything or without rooting! Just like on iOS.
Here it is a screen:
So I'm wondering if anyone can port it (I mean the option in the menu) to the Galaxy S2 Stock FW!
The option is located under Settings-->Display-->Show Battery %

Um... you don't seem to realize that to apply such a port, you would need to be rooted. And there exist many such mods for battery percentages already.
Yeah you are right, but I would prefer this mod, because you have the possibility to switch on and off whenever you want!
Moreover it displays also the % symbol, while all the mods that are out now only display the number without the % symbol.
Yes, I know I'm maniacal
PS. Is not a problem to root the device for me, as I'm already rooted, I just said it to make a difference between the battery mods that you generally flash through recovery and this option

Ohhh... I see. You want the menu option to turn it on and off. Sorry, I misunderstood.
So the note got blue icons after ics update?

This is what I would like to have on my SGS2.
The image is from the Galaxy S3 but Samsung made this feature available also on the Galaxy Note with the latest update to ICS, while in the Galaxy S2 there is no such an option, even with the latest XWLPD Firmware!!

I just installed XXLPW which also provides the option to enable the display of the percentage number close to the battery icon. Things are advancing ...

[Q] Change notification bar

Hello
I'd like to know if it was possible to change the notification bar on a deodexed or a custom ROM? Or take an already made notification bar from a custom rot and put it in an another one?
Thanks
Yes you can with a custom rom like CyanogenMod or Aokp

Ok, thank you.
If someone can explain me how to do it pls...or just tell me what file is the notification bar??
It's a feature of the rom. You can change the clock, the battery bar and signal, and with themes you can change layout and color. You can change the notification bar manually, by replacing files in system ui, but it's difficult for new android users
PS If i helped you hit the "thanks" button
Is there a way to modify the notification area without a custom ROM ? my phone is rooted, don't really wanna mess to much with it.

What I needed was to edit the SystemUI.apk or use an already moded apk, for anyone who might be as lost as I was, moding an apk is a really time consuming job when you're new to the game, there are plenty of already moded files in here.

[Q] Battery % mod

Hello XDA members,
I am using Omega v19.2 ROM and I love it, but there is one thing that won't let me sleep. I am used to Stock Battery (green battery without any percentages), but Omega is using mod called "Battery % mod". Is there any way to get back only stock battery without making any other changes in status bar?

Go into omega files app and flash stock toggles mod
@K0wneD: I tried that, I can live with gray status bar, but problem is that there are missing toggle buttons in notification bar like Torch or Sync. Is there any method to have Omega's status bar with stock battery?
I have installed 15 toggle mod, but two of them doesn't work - Torch and Sync, what is the reason?

Upload your framework-res.apk and systemui. I'll try, but your probably on the newest JB so don't know if it will work.

Don't worry...it's normal Omega has it's own battery animation.Flash a different ROM nd it will go back to stock. Also, the triple click is there to invert colors on your phone. This is a Omega feature, too.

On my CM 10.1.3 I can choose the battery icon style at settings > status bar > battery status style. Don't know about Omega though.

i really hate how it just appeared out of nowhere, i mean it was stock and then it just changed
It's part of the ROM. Every ROM has it's own appearance modifications. Look on Omega ROM thread, perhaps there's a modification to change the animations to stock. Worth a shot.
