Contacts Search - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
I'm having problems searching for contacts by providing a part of the characters in a contact on my Galaxy S3 running ICS 4.0.4. I had the issue on my Stock ROM and recently switched to Foxhound ROM, still same issue,
I have contacts stored as: KSA/Amwaj/Nandy
When I try to search by typing just 'Nandy' it doesn't return any result. The same kind of search on my Thrive tablet running ICS flawlessly returns the result.
Anyone else facing similar issue? Any ideas?

Are you using the dialer to search your contact?

Google goggles and latitude cannot sign in

Just wondering if any of you experiencing this problem. I am on KE7 and am rooted. No other problems with sign in and checking of my google mail. However when trying to turn on search history in google goggles or signing on with latitude, the device never signs in and just shows that it is still trying. I tried both with wifi and data connection but still can't enable this.
I tried this on my atrix and also htc desire but it didn't exhibit this problem.

[Q] Pin Code voice Memo

Hey there...!
I used Voice Memo App to store my personal daily correspondence for dictating it later on. I chosed numeric pincode to seal by saving the memos. Since a few days the assigned PinCode to the memos is not longer accepted and the app jumps back asking the pincode.
Any chance to get back the memos..?
Regards in advance Ede

The only thing coming to my head is reinstalling Voice Memo app, if not try use root explorer to get those files manually. Good luck and sorry for last post.

[Q] Change People.apk in CM 10.2

Hi there
I really hate the stock people.apk that comes with CM 10.2, and I was wondering if it's possible to switch it to something else as defaults contacts editor.. Even the stock samsung app is a lot better..
Thank you!
Yes, loads of contacts app on the play store

Yes, but I mean one that would replace people as the default one, since the other contacts apps seem to direct you to people.apk when you want to edit contact details
There's nothing to replace it. Not all contacts apps "direct you"
