Is this just a glorified shortcut for the video player? It doesn't seem to do anything other than open the stock video player app.

UC Browser
I watch a lot of anime from Nwanime or TV series from Couchtuner
When I open these video webpages on Android I have to nagivate like on a desktop browser (tiny play button and maximise button and seek bar)
On the iphone the video would open in the default video player.
How can I enable my Android device to open these videos with a default video player like mxplayer for example?
*note. Mxplayer is already my dafault player, so if I open an actual video file it plays in mxplayer. My problem is with web video
Thanks

Hi,
for some time now basically all browsers switched to integrated video playback and I hate it.
The integrated player is simply said pure ****. Is there a way to disable the HTML5 player and open all videos in websites in a player app (e.g. MX Player)? I watch videos in fullscreen anyway so there is no problem with an app opening instead of this laggy **** player. (Also MX Player can run in Background while playing Youtube for example).

If it's an embedded Youtube video and you have the Youtube app, you can click on the link on the top portion of the video (or click on the Youtube logo) and it will open in the app.
Yeah, but it's not only about YouTube. A lot of news sites I regularly visit have their own videos.
I want to replace the default video player that comes with AICP with MX Player to play everything but not just that, I know I can just select "Always" when it asks me what I what to play a file with.
I'm asking this because I was trying to make a GIF from a video but all apps play the video(s) very laggy. This does not happen with MIUI since the default MIUI video player was able to play those videos.
So, does anyone knows how to replace the stock video player with MX Player? So all apps use MX Player and not the stock one to play the videos by default.
I've already tried freezing/disabling the gallery app but no effect.
Thanks in advance.
