Bluetooth not working. - HTC EVO 3D

So my problem with Bluetooth is that my headsets are connected but when making a call or receiving a call it doesn't go to my headsets on it just stays on my phone. I've tried deleting them from the list and then re adding them but that didn't work either. I just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem and what you did or if anyone knows how to fix this? By the way this is after ics. Thanks

Are you using stock ics? are you rooted? Have you done a factory reset? Otherwards more info would give you a better shot at getting the problem solved

I'm stock ics and no I haven't tried a factory reset.

Did you just install the ota for ics ? Do a factory reset and you will lose all your data

[RESTARTS] Maps 6.10 update causing problems?

Anybody else having their phone restart randomly while using Maps after todays update to version 6.10??
I specifically get a hard restart about 10 seconds or so after trying to use Latitude, and occasionally (randomly) while using My Places or Local or the Location Settings menu.

No problems whatsoever on EOS3 Jelly Bean (which is AOSP), nor on my Motoactv running Gingerbread with some motoblur bits (not AOSP).

I've had problems as well, running Adrenaline 2.0 on the latest RUU. Anytime I try to use Navigation, I have about 10 seconds before (based on the speed) a hot reboot occurs.

[Q] Apps for Rooted 4G LTE and Mean ROM

I've been using the 2.13.651.1 710RD Root verison and I have the Mean Rom ICS 5.5 on my Sprint Evo 4G LTE and the only problem I have had with it is that my oovoo video doesn't work. I can see the person I'm calling but the person can only hear me not see me someone please help me with this issue.
There's a few things that you can try. Uninstall and reinstall the app, clear the app cache, clear cache and dalvik in recovery. Have you searched through the meanrom thread for this issue? If it worked on stock it might be a rom related issue. You can pm the dev, mikeyxda, he's good about helping people with his rom.
First thing Mike is gonna ask is did you do a clean install so I would definitely do that first....

Anyone having sms issues?

This has happened twice where the sms would be in pending until I restarted the whole phone. I would send out of Google voice instead. Anyone else having ms hanging forever?

I have been having that issue as well. I have to kill Facebook using the stock task manager then it works fine. I also had a problem with outgoing calls and pulling up contact names when trying to text.

Are you guys using the stock rom?
I was having similar problems on my stock EVO LTE after the last upgrade. Finally gave up and did a hard reset. I haven't had any more issues. Although I did run DirtyRacun and now have root but still running stock for now.
This is a very common problem with people running sense roms, particularly ones running the latest firmware. I had this problem too before switching to CM10 and there is no known way to permanently fix it. Sorry guys.

I just posted about this in this thread:

I have been having the same problem too.
I had MeanROM, and thinking it was the rom, i wiped and flashed stock w/ goodies rooted.
I still had the problem with that ROM.
I went on craigslist and bought a new evo lte 4g. stock. not rooted.
after a week or so i had the same problems.
Do you think this is due to the # of accounts and contacts??
I use goSMS and stock messaging. It is also noticable in dialer and people app.

Nope, it was Sense or something related to HTC

to RUU or not RUU is the question.

Here's the situation, my phone is running great on SuperLTE or any other Sense rom. Excellent battery, no signal problems, no freezing, just a reliable piece of technology. The problem comes in when I try to run anything other than a stock style rom.
When I flash cm10, everything works good, except for sporadic mms sending and receiving. If I flash any of the miui builds I have a messaging LOS after a reboot that my phone can not recover from and a full wipe is required.
I have tried reflashing radios, prl and profile updates. Tried doing hands free activations. About the only thing I have not tried is running the RUU. Would this make any difference? I'm s-off with hboot 1.12, 1.12.11.0809 radio. With the JB update dropping any day should I just wait for the new firmware and try that first.
Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would read through the OP for CM10 and see if anybody else has had the same issues. If Sense-based ROM's work fine for you, I'd be inclined to say it's CM10, not your phone. Also, if and when JB drops, I'd wait for a rooted version from one of the devs, as opposed to losing root and potentially other issues.

Updating to hboot 1.19 could be worth a try. Its not like u have something to lose now that dirtyracoon is around..its very easy to run

This just drives me crazy. I know that every one of our phones are different, but many people don't have these problems. Makes a guy wonder what is different or messed up with mine.

WiFi Error

Can someone please help me? I've searched posts here and EVERYWHERE online to no avail and still no fix. My WiFi stopped working, won't turn on and just reads "error" My Bluetooth is the same but don't really worry about that. I have HTC Evo 4g lte S-on baseband 1.12.11.809 rooted running Viper 4g 3.0.1 ROM. Logcat states Driver failed to load etc... It hasn't been working since I was on 2.0.2 but know that ROM wasn't the issue either because it was running fine while on it, just stopped one day. Any help is appreciated.

May be the drivers. Try to find a CWM-flashable version and flash them... hope it will fix your problem.

I talked to someone at a cell phone repair store yesterday. The very knowledgeable person said to revert back to stock RUU and it almost always fixes the issue. I'm going to try it this weekend and will post results.

Nice. So download ruu then install.. Fix problem.. Hopefully... Then reinstall custom ROM? Or will the ruu make me have to root it again?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Reverting to stock ROM + stock kernel should fix the problem (I'm not familiar with HTC, so suppose that RUU=stock ROM full flash).
This will also tell you if the HW is OK.
Then you can try to flash the custom ROM again.
Good luck.
You will have to root again after reverting to stock ruu. I didn't get a chance to go and try due to having my kiddos (single father) I'm going to try this sometime this week. I will however keep in touch and let you know bud.
