I've installed csipsimple on my 7310 wifi, but it doesn't work properly.
First it often doesn't connect, second and mainly the speaker is totally muted.
Mic works fine but audio doesn't...

I got in on the Samsung WEP470 deal at NewEgg to use with my G Tab. But in testing it, I've noticed that it will pair, no worries, but it won't connect.
My goal is to use it to replace the rubbish internal mic for skype calls when my daughter is traveling.
Any ideas? Does anyone have a BT earpiece that does connect and can work for calling?
Thanks!

I have Motorola S7HD stereo bluetooth headset and it pairs and works great with my G Tab running latest TnT Lite. I use them to listen to pandora, and watch tv/movies from my media server using plugplayer. I haven't tested yet for video conferencing, but it should work for that too. I'm too lazy to convert my Skype friends to oovoo or whatever it is, I'm hoping Skype will just finally add video to Android Skype soon.
Good luck.

Only A2DP Bluetooth
I have a Plantronics Blackbeat 903 which also works perfect for listening (through A2DP), but that's all I've been able to achieve. I mean, I can not make it work as audio input, just output. I guess g tab doesn't have the hands-free (HFP), or headset (HSP) Bluetooth profiles required to do that. So, even though I have Skype installed and I can make calls and listen via bluetooth, the built-in mic is still being used during the call instead of the Bluetooth headeset mic.
I've been googling around and still have found nothing about whether that functionality can be enabled. If you guys find something, let me know.
Anyone have BT headset/microphone combo that works?

I have a Rocketfish RF-MAB2 stereo headset that works for audio output but not microphone input (works ok on my blackberry tour). Just tried Sipdroid and while I could hear fine, audio was definitely going through the microphone on the G-Tablet ("sounds like you are under-water").
Bummer. I would like to be able to hear and talk through this set of headphone/microphone. My Emerson EM227 will pair but not connect. Is this an issue where the proper bluetooth stack isn't present?
I had this working fine on my N1. If my phone was connected to my car's Bluetooth stereo, the audio from the video call would go through the stereo and I'm pretty sure my voice would go through the stereo's mic.
However, on my S2 it insists on going through the speaker. Anyone know why?
I should mention that it goes through headphones properly.
When calling using the default dialer app, the Bluetooth headset audio behaves abnormal. Specifically, while on call, the audio on the earpiece comes from the mic of the earpiece i.e. it loops within the headset.
-Headset works well with other phones. Tested on an older Nokia and on an iphone but not tested on another android device.
-Headset pairs well with SGS2.
-Headset works well with CSipSimple on SGS2.
-All the blips, sounds and responses work well when headset interacts with SGS2, terminate calls, pair/unpair, initiate voice talk.
-SGS2 has the default ROM on it.
Just the actual audio during calling with default dialer is messed up, loops within the headset!
BTW the headset Jabra BT2045.
Thanx
I've installed cognition and the bluetooth audio works fine now!
My Jabra Halo headset used to work flawlessly with firmwares up to KF1... Same with the wired headset and Skype.
It hasn't been working since, only the headset speakers work fine, however the microphone on the headset does not work anymore.
Can you guys check if you also have this problem or is there anyone, that successfully uses some Bluetooth headset with Skype on i9100?
I was trying my new bose Bluetooth headset today and found that i cannot use it on gtlak video calls, is the problem from my headset or it is not enabled from gtalk app?
update: turns out there is an option for bluetooth while in call but couldn't switch to it, dono if the problem is from my headset, anyone tried it ?
thx

I have the same problem, The voice gets routed to the bluetooth headset, but nothing happens afterwards, cannot hear or be heard!
When changing the audio the the speaker or earpiece, audio works fine.
I have a Jabra Extreme2 and on LFB latest stock with no root or any modifications.
This only happens on Gtalk, otherwise the bluetooth works fine with calls and anything else, oh also skype is funny with the bluetooth as well, not stable!
Is it a general thing of my combination of software, SGS3 and Jabra Extreme2?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
