a great programm that gathers many tools, one of them in UNROOT
remember to enable usb debugging while connecting the tablet to the pc.
if this doesn't work, do it via fastboot.
i never tried this option actually, try it and post back.
Thank you. I will try it when i arrive home.

Installing a stock rom should be an easy solution, too.

if you rooted by cooked rom then you must flash using official rom. if you use TWRP remove it first by flashing stocks recovery.img before flashing stocks rom

I would also like to go back to stock and I have TWRP. Where do I find stock recovery.img? Tried search but search function was temporarily unavailable and Google won't help either.
Edit: Found it by manually going through other threads.

Is it using tar as the storage method? There is some issue with CWM not being able to do an Advanced Restore because of file incompatibility or some such, at least this is the case on the MyTouch 4G Slide with CWM 5.0.2.7.
Havent been able to flash Leedroid. Each time installation aborted then recovery crashed folowing this.
Tried to flash this on (software identical) 2 flyers, one succeeded, one failed (stuck at HTC logo).
Haven't tried any options though, because my current rom works just fine!
Latest Leedroid cannot be flashed using this. OneXXL and drewgaren ICS can though.. So I wonder where the problem is located.
Missing the last "L" in local (first adb command) for those who cute and paste.
/data/local/...
Not sure if I am misunderstanding or not, but it doesn't seem like this is a CWM release... Why this over touch capable?

Will this actually allow us to use rom manager or rom toolbox?

No, this is a port. It isn't official.
Anyone else having issues with this recovery and Leedroid HC 4.3.0?
I've unlocked the bootloader and rooted my HTC One but over time, it quits working. None of the apps can gain root and Koush's superuser states su needs to updated but can't gain root to do it.
A simple reboot fixes it. I'm still running the stock ROM with no need to switch.
Anyone else have this issue?

Hi there, I'm facing the same issue with my HTC One SV, it looses root and a reboot regains the root. Like you, I don't want to change my stock rom, but I'd like to have root access and remove the bloatware (again, which comes back after reboot). Any help is appreciated.

You might get a better response posting in the Galaxy Star Q&A Forum.
Hi,
I installed Custom ROM with an idea that it will improve my phone performance but hell i am seeing sluggish performance in some of the basic phone functionalites like contact searching
I didnt back up my stock rom when i rooted the phone and hence i request you to please share me the WORKING link of HTC Legend Stock ROM (Doesnt matter what android version it has 2.1 or 2.2)
I am fine with it
Thank you in advance
If you want rooted stock then I suggest looking in the dev section there are lots of roms, try using blay0s froyo b0.8.4 it's basically stock with quite a few improvements.
If you want completely stock Rom and no more root goto
http://www.shipped-roms.com and download the correct region for your location they are windows exe files, all you need is USB drivers I believe, from memory HTC sync is all you need.

An important question, how did you root your phone, via htcdev boot unlock or other method?
If htcdev unlock, you will need to relock it or you will get error 155.

You should not flash OTA updates on a rooted pho, you risk loosing root.
If you can download the update files you should be able to flash them in mobile odin pro without loosing root. Also someone might have made a zip file you can flash in recovery
Is there a noob "how to"anywhere please?

Hey I don't have s off. But I have a problem with updating my root binaries. If I were to flash a stock 4.3 Rom would I need to have s off first ? I tried using a Rom last time and it didn't finishing installing. So I bricked. Sorry. I'm sort of a noob about some things.

your phone was not bricked ...you had a windows 8.1 pc and could not fix it that's all.
S-off gives you the ability to flash firmware and RUU for any version including downgrading. You don't need s-off to just flash roms.
