From where can I get the stock ROM? I am from India and need to Flash the original Indian stock ROM
Use X10i Generic
Generic version 2.1update1 build 2.1.A.0.435 !
I dont think there's any special difference ?
Thanks! Also I checked on a thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=975692 In the first reply, it is mentioned that a repair from SEUS will do the trick. Can this be done?

Aww, don't use stock kernel... that's pure bullcrap,
Use this kernel- FreeKernel Mod 3.60 by Goro
This kernel is very stable and works on almost every baseband!
101% stock behaviour!
Private message me if you need stock, absolutely need it, I don;t want to post here and victimize all other poor fellows!
Install SEUS from Sony and do a full repair to install the stock kernel and stock everything.
Thanks to everything
I have installed wolfbreaks rom with its wolf kernel. Now i want to install official gingerbread from se using se companian or update service. Would it be safe to do it
plzz
if u update from wolfs custom 2.3.3 rom via pc companion or seus, u will lose any kernel modifications well all mods really. but because it is stock 2.3.3 im assuming ur using wolfs custom stock, it shud be okay. if not i wud recommend flashing a prerooted stock 2.3.3 which doomlord has provided in development section.
Hi. I have rooted my Gingerbread stock 2.3.7 FW and Now Sony has updated there Fw to ICS. So is it safe to upgrade it hile I have it rooted ? also Should I upgrade?
It's safe to upgrade if your phone was not unlocked bootloader ( locked bootloader )
if you unlocked the bootloader you can't upgrade the 'original' way.
Download the latest flashtool and update file.
First run flashtool and then run the update file
Flash the ftf package of ICS
If you want to keep root i recommend that you flash doomlords advanced stock kernel

You are joking right?
Have you tried this CM9/
Neo
Neo V
Its the OFFICIAL STABLE cyanogenmod for the NEO. It is VERY STABLE and has everything working.
Apart from that, to revert back to stock, just flash a stock kernel (Or any modded kernel for stock) and restore the backup you made before flashing the cm9 rom.

I just added the link for the neo v
Yes, you need stock kernel.(or modded kernel for stock roms)
The kernel for CM will not work with stock rom.
My suggestion is to try the stable cm9 for neo v from my link. If you are still unhappy then download a stock kernel, flash it it fastboot then restore your stock backup in recovery.
Do remember, if you flash stock kernel you will have to install a recovery. Or you can flash the alliance kernel from this thread

Rule number 1
Always backup, just in case you **** up!
Anyway, no problem, there are several options.
Find a stock .ftf in the dev section and flash that in flashtool after you have flashed the stock kernel.
Or, repair phone software using PCCompanion.
This will revert your phone to factory settings (Out of the box).
Or just follow the instructions in any "stock" based custom rom. I recommend Ice cream Pureness. Its a very good stock ICS based rom, fully functional and stable
