I was wondering which rom currently would be the best to watch videos with qqplayer without lag. I was also wondering whether if installing a rom with an unlocked bootloader would help reduce the lag?
Thanks in advance
Pretty much anymore ROM apart from the FXP CyanogenMod7.1 45 which has the video lag bug, which should be fixed in this weeks release is good.
I'd recommend T.E.A.M's stock rom with unlocked bootloader
I play any video without lag, im on 2.3.3 stock, maybe try moboplayer
Sent from my X10a using xda premium
moboplayer is also my choice. No problems so far and has the best lang support+plays MKV!
I have noticed that, when filming in 720p and 1080p, that the video camera has a tendency to lag when panning to the side after it has focused --> After the camera focuses, and I turn the camera to the sides or up/down, it lags for a second, creating a chopping effect (lagging).
I have stock Gingerbread installed on it (it came on it when purchasing the phone), and have not updated to stock ICS yet.
Does anyone else have this, or have noticed this problem? I'd really like to solve this mystery as soon as possible.
Thank you,

Just a suggestion:
Have you already tried to install the S2 Camera update from Samsungs Apps?
This was an update for the camera firmware of the SGS2.
If you have already installed the update, this app will show it right after the installation.
Good luck !
I just updated Samsung Apps, and am now in the program.
I guess this is a known program then, since they have put out an update for the camera...
How do I find the S2 Camera Update?
Thank you for your reply,

you can google for the same r try with Sammobile.com
Lag as you described is not firmware related as I never had it, but you can try.
Also what you can do I'd you are using micro sdcard as storage, change it to internal and check.
Unless issue is frame rates, blur when panning.
Hello everyone,
I'm currently on the stock rooted rom and there is something that's bothering me. When I record a video(I'm using full hd 1080p version), the camera isalways trying to make the focus even when it's already in focus.
I've tried to find a setting like auto-focus but I can't see it. Does anybody else is having the same issue?
thanks
I've had issues with youtube on aokp/aosp roms. All the videos, even on hq and on good wifi speeds have been blurry on all aosp/aokp roms. It's not a big issue but it's really frustrating and annoying when I try to watch a video from the official application and they're all blurry but they work just fine on the samsung based roms.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of fix, except for running a ****ty 3rd party application bloated with apps/missing functionality from the youtube 5.x update?
just found this today so im kinda upset, when i was recording in 4k i zoomed in and the app crashes im running 4.4.2 and i have the 12b version of the verizon update, is there a fix to fix the zoom issue when recording, i never had this issue on the first OS the phone first came with
my phone is rooted and i have twrp as the recovery 2.8.6.0
