I see them going on eBay for about $40 or so. My pit-bull pup got a hold of mine and ruined them. I wanted to get some Monster Tours, but I see them retail for $100+ and on eBay they're selling them for about $50, I suspect those are fake and reproductions.
Please let me know.

I would buy something else. Beats are over priced and the ones that came with the phone aren't very comfortable. I tried them out for a week and they have been sitting in my desk ever since. I own some skull candy and bose ear buds and they are much nicer.

Yeah, you really shouldn't bother with iBeats. They're overpriced, and they lack quality. Don't get me wrong, getting them for free with the Rez was nice, but you should grab a pair that sounds a bit better. I like the Klipsch S4, and the cost is around $60 new.

Too true!!
I just use over-the-ear headphones like Audio-Technica ATH-M50s. They're actually cheaper than the tours

The thing is, I want to try out earbuds before I purchase or be able to return them or exchange. I tried some decent Skullcandy's. I dnd't like them even half as much as I like the iBeats. I need to keep experimenting to see what I like. I thought about trying some Sol Republic Amps.
Well, I'm taking a chance and purchasing some online. After going through two different IEMs at Best Buy I'm goign to be returning the last pair for a refund. I just don't like the sound. My choice is...

NE-700X. I found some refurbished on Nu Force's official outlet site. I generally read positive reviews on them and usually their rated 4/5 or 9/10 giving their decently cheap price. 1-year warranty.

First I am in need of a good pair of portable earphones for my 3D that are around $20. The kind that can fit in my pocket. Could anyone direct me to some god earphones on Amazon for about $20?
Another thing I was looking for was a car mount for GPS and taking video in car. I have heard some good things about the igrip one but also have heard negative.
The earphones take priority...
Thanks for the help.
Exogear car mount is awesome an universal. Sticks to places no other mount will stick.

Check out meelectronics products, think they are on Amazon.. Cheap and good quality. I have m6p and m11p, both are great. Depending on Amazon price, might be cheaper to get off their website meelec.com when they have one of their very frequent coupon deals. Can probably get numerous models with mic for around 20 with a coupon.

Another vote for Meelectronics here, I bought the M9P (mic version) over a year ago for around $20 on the recommendation of many uses over at Head-Fi... Excellent sound that seems to far exceed what a set of cheap IEMs should sound like (compared to my older JVC and Senheisser pairs at least) and an amazing chord that seems to minimize noise from bouncing around a ton better than the vast majority of IEMs out there. Meelec has greatly expanded their product lineup since then, I'd check with on the Head-Fi boards for some current recommendations... Tho the M9 & M6 were both great and are probably still available at Amazon or Newegg. They've got a solid warranty and awesome support too btw.
Hey, the PRIME is in stock at Amazon for $499.

Big box retailers would have you believe they are quite expensive. The opposite is in fact true, they have a HUGE markup on any cable. This has been a truism for quite a long time. Your best bet is to go with Amazon or Monoprice for all your cable needs, emphasis on Monoprice. They almost always have the best price and have always been good quality for me, and likely others on this forum.

They all look the same but they're not all built the same. When I had a G2X about a dozen people had their devices fried using micro-HDMI cables all purchased from the same discount vendor on Amazon. High-end like Monster's a total waste and overkill but the cheap Chinese specials can end up costing you a fortune if they short out. If something's to good to be true, it usually is.

Couldn't help but see this statement and laugh. Monster and High-end should never ever be in the same sentence together. Their products are absolute garbage, but unfortunately somehow they have managed to achieve this pseudo-status of quality product in the US.
I have a cousin who has worked in pro audio for years and the name Monster is one that leaves a bad taste in the mouth from their awful lies to consumers.
I am not sure this is a big deal anymore. At least in SoCal, seems they are available here and there. Bought one a few weeks back off the shelf at Microcenter but returned it due to wifi and lockup issues.
At this point seems like the wise move is to wait for the next one coming out in 2nd quarter 2012 or look at an ipad3, or next Galaxy.
For the price of the Prime it shouldn't have the issues it has - big disappointment.
Interesting. My old car had AUX and buying any other brand of cable resulted in an awful sound within weeks if not months if the cable didn't completely degrade early on. Spent $5 more for Monster cable and that thing lasted me for 3 years before getting my new car with BT and the sound was great.
The only Monster product I ever bought and it completely murdered every other brand at Best Buy that manufactured aux cables.

I got a monster component video cable on Amazon for $15 to use for my Youtube recording, and aside from that thing being a thick heavy snake, it performed basically the same as a cheaper cable. That thing is so heavy that you could kill someone with it if you swung it hard enough. I suppose reliability is bulky
Cables matter if their analogue but not so much if there digital like hdmi

you can probably score a pair on craigslist depending on the size of the city you live in. Looking in my area I see them going for 45-110$. 45 sounds pretty good.
$55 shipped and mine are yours. Brand new. just got my Rezound last week. I have too many headphones the way it is...don't need to crack these open.
So I came across this and I had to order it. figure I'd spread the word its the new Samsung phone stand fast charge wireless pad thing u can use it flat to a Samsung power pack with fast charge also (over 10,000 mAh) and a car charger with fast charge technology Its Verizon brand. but the other two are official Samsung.
check it OUT

For 99 bucks it better be.. try amazon. For your fast chargers... paid 18 to 23 bucks each. Just looks like over priced Verizon stuff..

even with my Tmo discount this was way cheaper.

What do you think of them? After years of being unable to keep ear buds in my ears, these stayed even when I bobbed my head around like a fool. They are comfortable too which is really a breath of fresh air.
I think they cover bass pretty well in the Quad DAC setting. I'm content.
Thoughts?

I have the V30+ on Sprint. They came with the QuadBeats earbuds. They truly are comfortable. I usually can't do earbuds because they hurt my ears. The housing usually hits a part of my ear and it's uncomfortable. No such issue here. Also, the sound reproduction from this set of earbuds are remarkable for what they are.
Also another thing... These things MUST BE WATERPROOF. Lol. They have been thru at least 4 cycles in my washer (accidently, they were inside my pants pocket). Each time they came out in perfect working condition. No damage to the in-line mic or volume controls either. I'm extremely impressed.

Well that makes me feel better. I've only ever owned like those sport behind the ear style that wouldn't break even in an apocalypse.
I was worried about how well these would hold up as they are the first pair I've found comfortable.
I agree, I haven't bought top of the line headphones before but with these, less than half way to full with bass on and it's too loud. With my sport headphones, I'd be hitting around 55-60 with bass to even slightly enjoy it. So I'm moving up in the world here! Haha.
I traded in my V30 for the V30+, that wasn't a smooth move as my first V30+ was defective. However this one is great. Did the darkness test on the bathroom at a T-Mobile and they LOL'ed me the whole time. Third time was a charm. The third V30+ was gorgeous. I'm happy.
It was totally worth it. Now to not pay $45 for that Tech21 case...

I almost bought it. I tried it on. I'm using a Tech21 wallet case on my iPhone 7 Plus. They always feel the best in hand and on these shiny surfaces, they don't show the wet look. So the matte clear doesn't stick to the jet black iPhone nor the glass backed V30/V30+.
I got the wallet case on eBay for like $15. I'm waiting for the one for the V30/+ to show up on there too.

I don't doubt it. T-Mobile reps who found out I got the original V30 and was burning my JUMP for a year to get the V30+, they were like "Are you sure?!?" they saw I've got an iPhone 7 Plus too so I think I blew their mind. Then I did the screen test in their bathroom with them in there and overall they said I taught them more than most customers.
By the time I left they were all talking to me like I'm some kind of alien or something. Half interested, half overwhelmed. LOL

They've surprised us all. So from now on, I'll just either buy the exact device I want or wait it out. No more jumping on something when it's not exactly what I want. Like with my 7 Plus, it had to be jet black. So it took me until December to find it and in 256GB. Patience is a virtue.

I usually keep all of the accessories in the box. When I decide to part with a phone, those go with it. I don't normally give them away or consider selling them because I like to keep what comes in the box. I usually end up giving away a phone after so long of not using it so having those things still in there, definitely are appreciated by those that get them. My frien, Wynter, has already claimed my V30+. She is a major LG fan but can't afford to pick one up and isn't eligible for an upgrade any time soon.
