What do you think of them? After years of being unable to keep ear buds in my ears, these stayed even when I bobbed my head around like a fool. They are comfortable too which is really a breath of fresh air.
I think they cover bass pretty well in the Quad DAC setting. I'm content.
Thoughts?

I have the V30+ on Sprint. They came with the QuadBeats earbuds. They truly are comfortable. I usually can't do earbuds because they hurt my ears. The housing usually hits a part of my ear and it's uncomfortable. No such issue here. Also, the sound reproduction from this set of earbuds are remarkable for what they are.
Also another thing... These things MUST BE WATERPROOF. Lol. They have been thru at least 4 cycles in my washer (accidently, they were inside my pants pocket). Each time they came out in perfect working condition. No damage to the in-line mic or volume controls either. I'm extremely impressed.

Well that makes me feel better. I've only ever owned like those sport behind the ear style that wouldn't break even in an apocalypse.
I was worried about how well these would hold up as they are the first pair I've found comfortable.
I agree, I haven't bought top of the line headphones before but with these, less than half way to full with bass on and it's too loud. With my sport headphones, I'd be hitting around 55-60 with bass to even slightly enjoy it. So I'm moving up in the world here! Haha.
I traded in my V30 for the V30+, that wasn't a smooth move as my first V30+ was defective. However this one is great. Did the darkness test on the bathroom at a T-Mobile and they LOL'ed me the whole time. Third time was a charm. The third V30+ was gorgeous. I'm happy.
It was totally worth it. Now to not pay $45 for that Tech21 case...

I almost bought it. I tried it on. I'm using a Tech21 wallet case on my iPhone 7 Plus. They always feel the best in hand and on these shiny surfaces, they don't show the wet look. So the matte clear doesn't stick to the jet black iPhone nor the glass backed V30/V30+.
I got the wallet case on eBay for like $15. I'm waiting for the one for the V30/+ to show up on there too.

TMobile had a tech 21 case? I have yet to see one for the 30. I'm gonna have to snag 2 more 30 cases by Tuesday.
Tech 21 makes pretty decent cases. I either get those or speck.

Well to be honest that store was about an hour from me and they were the only ones who had both the V30 and V30+ on release day.
So I think it's really about the store. I'd visit the biggest corporate stores in very high traffic areas.

Yeah, see, the TMobile store here had no cases at all last time I looked. I ordered the speck grip case online. I'll prolly check best buy for cases. They're more expensive, but no waiting, no Amazon prime fee and no shipping. Plus I get them immediately. Kinda evens out imo.

No love for this phone. The guy at Sprint yesterday was actually surprised I wanted the v30s. He said he tries to push them, but as soon as people hear the words "LG", they say no.

I don't doubt it. T-Mobile reps who found out I got the original V30 and was burning my JUMP for a year to get the V30+, they were like "Are you sure?!?" they saw I've got an iPhone 7 Plus too so I think I blew their mind. Then I did the screen test in their bathroom with them in there and overall they said I taught them more than most customers.
By the time I left they were all talking to me like I'm some kind of alien or something. Half interested, half overwhelmed. LOL

They've surprised us all. So from now on, I'll just either buy the exact device I want or wait it out. No more jumping on something when it's not exactly what I want. Like with my 7 Plus, it had to be jet black. So it took me until December to find it and in 256GB. Patience is a virtue.

I haven't tried the earphones and won't take them out of the box when I get my V30+. I don't like the feeling of having anything stuck in my ears. I do have a pair of Sennheiser HD555's that I have had for about 12 years that still sound incredibly amazing. Over-the-ear headphones are all I use.

I usually keep all of the accessories in the box. When I decide to part with a phone, those go with it. I don't normally give them away or consider selling them because I like to keep what comes in the box. I usually end up giving away a phone after so long of not using it so having those things still in there, definitely are appreciated by those that get them. My frien, Wynter, has already claimed my V30+. She is a major LG fan but can't afford to pick one up and isn't eligible for an upgrade any time soon.

Hi guys,
To those of you that got the free blue gel case, have you tried using the phone with the thing on? I just tried to update my voicemail message and when I played it back, it sounded like I was driving through a tunnel. I took off the case and recorded a message and it sounded great.
Just an FYI if anyone is getting pissed over the sound quality of your phone. At least for my phone, the free Sprint case screws up the call quality big time.
I'm curious if anyone else has this issue with their free case. Try it out by changing your voicemail message.
I tried to return it to a Sprint store yesterday. They wouldn't take it. Did offer to exchange it, but the cases they had were are crappy. Going case-less for now. Will get a sub-$10 TPU in a couple weeks, perhaps, when the selection is better.
I got the gray one and I think I may just ebay it.. anyways didn't you get a Diztronic? Mine seems to work well with it on.. even though the hole isn't perfectly in the center..

I returned mine and got half off an otterbox defender. I had to call customer service first and have them notate the account, before the store would exchange it. Hope that helps man.

And the slot for the kickstand makes for a very good finger grip.

I bought the otter box defender also. After using a otter box with my OG EVO I will never be without one again.
Honestly I got the case and I love it. It's a nice minimal silicone case and looks really good on the phone. (mine was blue) It doesn't add any bulk at all and it's most certainly not cheaply made like most silicone cases. And also it was free. Stop complaining.

This isn't a complaint. I'm glad the case works for you but it doesn't for me. Call quality matters to me. If anyone was having call quality issues, it might not dawn on them to check out the case.
Also, if you read my other posts you would see I appreciated the gesture.
Finally, I hope you speak to people in person differently than you do here. Most strangers would tell you to shove it if you told them what to do.

Are you guys serious? The OP isnt complaining, hes just saying that the case makes his voice sound differently. Hes letting us know that if your friends tell you that you sound weird over the phone then it might just be the case and not your nice new evo. Its a heads up so people dont go blaming their phones over poor sound quality. I for one never thought a case could make you sound different so I would instantly blame the phone. Thanks to the OP, now I wont.
Yea, I don't know why everyone is so happy and like "thank you" when this case is garbage. I didn't even want to put it on. I was like "wtf" and like "aww...... come on" when I got mine.

The thing is, I want to try out earbuds before I purchase or be able to return them or exchange. I tried some decent Skullcandy's. I dnd't like them even half as much as I like the iBeats. I need to keep experimenting to see what I like. I thought about trying some Sol Republic Amps.
Well, I'm taking a chance and purchasing some online. After going through two different IEMs at Best Buy I'm goign to be returning the last pair for a refund. I just don't like the sound. My choice is...

Not a single one in my town. I did spend a lot of time showing my phone off because I'm the only one in town who has it. Anyone care to comment on the fitment of it?; this anti-glare Moshi wont even stay in place but it was free.
*edit* Found one. Nice fitment.
Put it on yesterday within about 2 hours of buying mine. (Took that long to track one down at Best Buy). Wend on easy and feels smoother than a regular Zagg. I'm quite happy with it! :good:

Actually, the one on Zaggs site is not the HD. Zagg doesnt even list the HD version as of yet. The HD are always more than the original because of higher quality. Actually, im sure that might be objective, but to me it is. They just seem more clear, and they feel of them seems closer to the actual screen than most screen protectors. I actually Zagg today because i wanted to register mine for warranty purposes and its not an option on their site. The rep even verified for me that their site does not list this version, and that it will probably be another week before it does.
Now, having said all that, has anyone else experienced any issues with theirs scratching? I have the Zagg HD on my One X, Galaxy S3, and on the OG. Ive had them on my other phones since they day the phone was purchased and they still look wonderful. The one on my OG was placed on it the day i got it, the 3rd, and i actually peeled it off today because it is so scratched up it looks terrible. Im just wondering if maybe there is a manufacturing flaw in them or something.

I went to best buy today and they had a bundle special. I got the Zagg screen & the Rocketfish case for $35.
The reason for the price difference is because the one at bestbuy is the HD screen, which will better compliment that beautiful display.
BTW, Zagg is having 50% off sale for CyberMonday, still going today.

The Rocketfish case I tried at BB would not fit the ATT version.

Ghost Armor makes clear protectors for both the front and the back that are just awesome.
12 bucks for maximum coverage (back, front, and sides) on Zagg using InvisibleShield with lifetime warranty is basically a "because why not?" deal. I recall paying 20 bucks some years ago just to have the front of my Inspire covered.

No it did not. I bought it without having my phone yet and when I tried to put it together it was absolutely to small.
Returning tomorrow....on the bright side...with the zagg.com 50% off sale right now, I am ordering the full body for $12.49
Is the zagg LG optimus g for the at&t version without a doubt? They have sprint version listed and then just lg optimus g...thanks

I was trying to determine if the LGOG kit they have listed on the website will fit the E970 so i tried calling Zagg several times on Monday but they never picked up the phone. I sent them an email late in the afternoon and have not yet heard back from them.
kinda frustrating that they had the 50% off sale but not reply to my inquiry. If I hear back from them I'll update this thread.
edit: was informed that the LG OG (the one NOT listed as Sprint specific) would fit the AT&T device. So i ordered a full body kit.

I'm a sucker for new tech and the video of Tech21's "non newtonian" D3O substance was like tech porn. I was wondering if anyone has any insights on Tech21? especially for the Gnote3 since that is the case I'll be buying it for once they actually start selling it. I'm not 100% sure if the GN3 model is being sold yet so I'd settle for any review of their products.
Other than the relatively high price the only other complaint I've seen of their cases was the hard buttons. The GN3 case looks like the buttons are cut out (tho it's hard to tell with their low res pics). Any other complaints? Praise?
Thanks
Agreed best case in terms of protection and size, i have one for my s4 and love it. I noticed they have it listed on their site but i cant seem to find it for purchase.

Their case is fine, but their customer service is very bad. I bought one for their iPhone 5 Case, it has scratch right after I opened the box. I call their customer service to try to exchange it, they refuse to do so.
My local t-mobile store in Folsom, CA has tech21 cases for the gnote3. I would imagine other tmo stores have them too.

I bought the impact snap at tmobile when I got the phone. Nice quality, but my caseitis had kicked in and I've already bought two more cases with a third on the way.

Good to know. Poor CS might explain why I haven't received a response from them on an email I sent 3 days ago about GN3 case's avilability.

Awesome. I'm an ATT customer, I would have never checked a T-Mobile store.
Looks like a pretty nice case, might have keep an eye out for it! Thanks for the share.
RoloRacer on Note3 N900A
My tmobile had 2 different tech21 cases. One black and one blue
Tmobile is non exist any where I am in Nebraska. I want the clear one in my life so bad. I can't find a retailer or even find the case in two's page.
Yea T-Mobile is now big on Tech 21 cases, they have a few color choices at every store I've been in. I actually bought one on the first day with the phone and only returned it because I had ordered 3 others online for half its price in total. Still it was cool when the manager of the store demonstrated this impact case by throwing the Note 3 half way across the store to demonstrate why it costs 40 dollars.
I picked one up when I bought my Note 3 until I found a proper case. I used one like this on my Amaze, and after 2 years it was almost flawless. It definitely protects well and I'm even totally confident to leave it laying around the kids. Its like a tank. I will be replacing it with the Neo Hybrid (if it ever arrives) because I want something that will show off the sharp sides of the Note 3. If these guys made something like that they would be my number one for protection.

Sprint is selling Tech21 as well.
Awesome. Thanks. I'll have to check em out after my rotation tomorrow.
Now many T-Mobile corp stores in NYC are selling several varieties of Tech21 cases.
Original smoky grey (the one I have).
Smoky blue
Clear pink
Black "book" style
My choice was pretty limited when I bought N3 two weeks ago, but it turns out this is so far the best I chose.
I am not that big on "remove twice, install twice" in Incipio.
I am not interested the one with "window".
I just want Body Glove Diamond type which I used with Note 2.

Hey where did you order them cheaper online? I can't find them for the Galaxy Note 3.
Thanks for the info

Hey thanks for the pics. How are the buttons with the case on? Are they hard to press? If so, does it eventually break in?

That's the other thing I'm not too thrilled about. The buttons need some force to engage, sometimes more than one try.

I just bought one, and I'm not too happy with the case. You can see some of the bezel on either side of the case (not a perfect fit)

My friend is selling me his watch, that he got recently, for $130. It's a decent price, but I already use the Gear 2 Neo -- which I think is pretty great. The battery life lasts over a week! But I don't mind charging it every day...
Should I get it?

It depends on if you'll use it. A new watch is down to $179 now and it's going to compete against Apple watch, Moto, and LG G Watch R. Plus I think that $130 is a good price. I would pay that for a used LG GW in good condition. At the very least you could sell it for that if you don't like it.
$130??? That's a no brainer
I just purchased one from Swappa.com and I got it for $120. I think both rates are great considering that I paid about $30-40 less for the pebble watch. I would get it.

I just offered mine up for $100 to a personal friend, but only because I give sick deals to people I know. I knew this device would depreciate fast in the face of competition.

The deal lasted half a day before it went OOS @ cowboom. Code was GWatch4091814
Got the watch! And it's quite nice! I love the Android Wear OS...quite a bit stepup from Samsung's Tizen. Battery life is just fine too, lasts over a day of usage. Very happy with the purchase. I just need to get a need strap.

Definitely get that strap asap. I put a new strap on my G watch and it felt like a brand new watch all over again. The stock strap is so boring and ugly it really makes you dislike the device!

Which strap did you get? I'm looking into the metal stainless steel black straps. Leathers are not bad but not too sure.

Here's mine: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55436398&postcount=123 It's one of those metal elastic kind that stretch with springs, so your arm hairs can get caught in between which is kinda annoying, but I had it sized just right so it doesnt move around much and thus isnt too much of an issue for me. If one gets caught I just stretch the band back out real quick and I'm good.
I think black leather with white stitching also looks really good and I may end up getting that too. You can see it around in other pics online.
I got a white one for $100 off of Craigslist. I'm liking it.
It will keep me busy until I get a Round

got the watch and actually like the square shape.. quite easy to use and control .
Don't really see the fuss with round watches

For some (like myself) the fuss with round watches come from the fact that a round screen mimic much better a classier round watch face. Also round display is bigger (at least on the Moto360).
However after using the square screen on my G Watch, I really think I'll have a hard time adjusting to a round one once I upgrade to the LGGWR.
Cheers!

I know I feel the same way!!!
The LG G Watch R has that bezel around the watch and will not have the same feel as the G Watch or the 360

Actually I do like the bezel on the Round since it serve as a bump protection and also have a full 360 degree screen... Of course my perception could change once I see it in person...
In the meantime, I'm happy with the LG G Watch.
Just got a white one for $80 bucks. Sweet.

Quite honestly since I got my white/gold version, I don't feel the urge to get a "newer" smartwatch anymore...
Don't get me wrong, I do love the idea of having the G Round for example, but even though I've been loving AndroidWear, and especially now that I know every aspect of it, paying more than $100 or $150 for a smartwatch on its current state does not make sense to me at this moment, at least not anymore.
I think I'll hold until the next round or two of AndroidWear hardware/software.
By the way, I think the white G Watch looks more interesting than the black one.
Tip: try to cut a small piece of Post-It and cover the charging pins to protect them from rusting, really easy to remove and replace every night. Just make sure the sticky part sits on the case and a small non-sticky flap covers the pins.
Cheers!
