Try CM7 or a Blur rom. ICS and JB roms are a tad unstable.

I would try cm7 but i have already done it. What version of cm7 is the most stable?
and why should i return to blur ,i believe that i am not the only one that use this rom.other people have the same problem?

Im running Atrix-CM7-Kernel-023r-ext4-1.00GHz
Until now i dont have any randon reboot or deep sleep, try to flash that one and tell me if it worked for you:fingers-crossed:

Try taking out the sd card and see if it still happens!
If it does not happen anymore format the sd card and see if it happens when you put it back in.
If it still happens try a new sd card!

So you have a sulotion for us? Maybe increasing our voltage?
or other kernal?
how we do that?

I've had this issue in the past as well, I believe it had to do with a root zip I flashed for the 4.5.91 update, but I can't be certain. I SBF'd the original 4.5.91 firmware, flashed the CWM recovery, and flashed the latest CM7 along with the Deepblue fix stated HERE. I understand that a lot of people have seen this and says it shouldn't do anything, so I'll let you decide if it works or not.
After doing the above steps, I've solved the issue with the random reboots, but still get the system locks forcing a battery pull, though only very rarely (maybe 1 a month/3 weeks).

He is a link for some faux work
http://faux.androidro.ms/
You just need to copy the zip to the sdcard
Reboot into recovery
Select install zip from sdcard
Look for the package
Flash it
Wipe caché
And that's all, the kernel doesn't erase anything on your phone neither the radios
Have fun

thanks for that advicee... the kernel is not changing anything. random reboots are not really a problem. deep sleep of death comes with every kernel even faux.
what i didn't tried yet...is reverting to stock. ...
i report back later

I have had the same problem. for months i have been flashing different kernels, radios and roms, and the only thing that worked was the original sbf of my carrier. I never restarted since

Instructions in OP.

i have this problem too.it startet two days ago randomly...changed the rom to cm7 and it occurs still

I have never seen such battery life. What I find weird though is blue tooth was on there previously, and it disappeared. Maybe because the percentage is less than 1%

X2... Is this on an ICS ROM? My computer has Linux kernel 3.2, but GB on our phones is still 2.6..... I ran a couple of those ICS leaks, but never checked kernel version. None of them are stable enough for me, though.
Everything works in CleanRom. I had flashed chad's ICS leak kernel so that I could use no-frills cpu control, but some things got borked. No now I'm back on the one below, which does not support setcpu. Battery life is amazing though. I am going to try and use up my battery today, since I could only get it down to 40% yesterday.

Make sure you show your screen on time next time you post. Your first post did show some good battery life, but I can get the same screenshot with using my stock if I do not use my phone barely at all. These screen shots don't show much. The most important one to show is screen on time.

We have a firmware update from Virgin Mobile. Many users have experienced issues with this, I would recommend not updating. The ADSP.img is what is important for booting the Linux 3 Kernel including with these ROMs, this should be generic between Virgin Mobile and Sprint but DO NOT take my word for it. Chad has a test kernel for those without the new firmware which only breaks 3D and USB Mount/ADB if you want to try it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639471

Help me kill it...

Hello fellow xda members, today I'm asking a very odd question of you all to answer.
I want you guys to help me fully brick my phone, 100%, no going back. Is it as simple as flashing gsm files? Let me know, and thank you in advance.
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
WHAT?
This one must belong to your ex girlfriend? Just install roms that aren't for that phone, or run a restore from root on it, for example if you have a evo, run the PC861MG on the boot loader after you download it of course.
They have a PC&*^MG for every phone to run in the bootloader, just place the wrong one on the SD CARD power off into recovery and let it run, that should do it
Let us know if it worked!
Ok this might be a first

I imagine you have the VM firmware and are tired of dealing with it too. I was on the VM firmware and in my attempt to fix it I completely borked the radio somehow. I had no connection so the VM banner would not show. I took it to the store and they gave me a new phone. Good luck.

If it's s-off you can do this(will work for s-on too but may be fixable with the downgrades here):
Get the attachment
Bot in fastboot and run the following command
Code:
fastboot flash spcustom /path/to/attached/file
Reboot
That will do it i did it to my phone and bricked it solid, i have tried 1000 ways to fix it.
From he who must not be named
fastboot erase radio
fastboot erase rc_data
and f-it
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase data
= no boot

It will completely kill the phone. No button combination will do anything. It won't respond when plugged into charger and won't turn on at all. Pulling the battery during a radio update is a guarantee 100% brick of no return

Just flash a radio image from a different device or flash a GSM radio.

hotkerel flashes but doesn't take?

Hey guys! I'm on flaps ROM and I tried to flash the kernel r2 with cwm touch. When I do it says that it succeeded. Then when I reboot, I go check the kernel version it's still at 3.0.8 (something like that). Is there something I'm missing? I was also on black star and tried to flash the same way and it wouldn't. Thanks for any help.

I thought the same thing. Ive used setcpu to overclock and it works fine. Newest update was fix on capacitive buttons staying on
Thanks for the replies. The kernel info says 3.0.8 and that's all. What I'm trying to explain is that it says that it was a successful flash in cwm touch recovery, but it doesn't show up in about phone in settings once I reboot from cwm touch recovery. Hope I'm explaining it well. Basically I flash it, reboot, then go check the version and it still says 3.0.8. Every time.

I simply deleted both files. That doesn't solve his problem of the kernal not even showing up in about phone tho. The deletion of FJs files has to do with clock speed and settings sticking and horrid lag...not the kernal installing.
And IIRC, that only pertains to the FJmod. He has a stock base too minus the mod. Similar to electrons build.

Thanks again for the replies. Correct, just the kernel file only. It's the second r2 file I've tried doing. When I was on h0tw1r3s ROM, I was able to flash and update the kernel to r2. I wonder if I should try a different recovery like tarp or maybe it has to do with a mounting issue or something. By the way, I'm not saying anything about overclocking, just installing the kernel itself.

[FIX][ICS]Bluesleep Fix for all ICS Roms (Enable Deep Sleep!!)

Hello all!!! This is a Mod that will fix the Bluesleep issue seen on our current Cyanogen Mod 9 build and all ICS Based Roms.
What is Bluesleep you ask?
Bluesleep is a wakelock that is an error on part of the Bluetooth System missing a few binaries. Even if you have bluetooth disabled, you will be affected by this bug!!!
Ok, so how does Bluesleep affect us?
Bluesleep is a wakelock. Wakelocks prevent your system from going into Deep Sleep. From my testing, this is the ONLY wakelock that is still prevalent on our system.
Why did this bug occur?
Normally, an ICS kernel would take care of all of this. But due to us still having a Gingerbread kernel, we still need these binaries.
What are the benefits from flashing this?
Oh, only BETTER BATTERY LIFE! As of now, our phone sits at an idle state of 216Mhz. By flashing this, it enables Deep Sleep, which saves a substantial amount of Battery Life when your phone isn't in use.
Sounds great, but there's got to be a catch.
From my testing, there are no bugs introduced from this fix.
Wait, how thoroughly was this tested??
It was tested for a solid day of good use on MIUI.
It was (sadly) only tested for a few hours on CM9, however my phone did reach Deep Sleep.
SIGN ME UP!!
Download Link
Instructions:
YOU MUST BE ON AN ICS ROM! (CM9, AOKP, Paranoid Android or MIUI)
Boot into BSR
Flash the bluesleep.zip
No need to wipe Data or Cache
ENJOY BETTER BATTERY LIFE!!!
Credit goes to olegfusion and Th3Bill for their findings!! All I did was package it and make the flashable script.
NICE WORK! i wondered why my screen turned off then on so much thought it was smart screen off now i know
