Thanks a lot for this times. Very thorough work.
Would you suggest starting on High Leakage first?

Try all three. See which one works best with your phone.
Though, High leakage is probably the safest to start, but still could be unadapted to your device.
Works with mtd roms?

Awesome thanks. I'll flash now. Besides overclocking to 1.7 ghz (something I will not do) what advantages does this kernel offer over nemisis2all's OTB kernel?
First off lemme say the color change at low backlight setting is BEAUITUFL.

Yes now I see that! The color is great.
My gosh this kernel is absolutely brilliant. My phone is flying and has SO MUCH memory.
I highly recommend running the Kernel Cleaner before flashing.
Downloaded all three and testing each one. I thought my phone was smooth before, this takes it to another level. I like the color screen change in the Voodoo Control App. From what I can tell so far, this kernel is phenomenal.
If the phone froze immediately when I set the max CPU to 1400 on LL, it's probably not right for me, right?

Awsome glitch. You are fantastic. I love the boot screen that you've integrated into this kernel as well as the blue CWM.
Bravo to you.
This looks great, I will be flashing it soon. Thanks!

careful with trying too low voltage because we don't have the three button cwm so if you can't even boot, you are screwed and have to flash CM7 again.

It's for MTD.
Yes guys. Please try High Leakage first. Most of us will have to use that as our primary kernel so don't get too greedy.
Can't download from xda app. The links appear to be inside quoted text and therefore are not followable
Also, how is audio volume with this kernel? I'm curious if it will do anything to help the known audio issues with cm7..
Hi
I tried to OC'ed my Touchpad 32Gb using the Beta Feed to 1.7Ghz, but it seems laggy sometimes. Is it because of the feed? Should I remove it and use only the stable feed?
Thanks
I'm using kernel Warthog and F4 (both are beta feeds) and they are very stable for me. Did you install all the patchs from Preware?
Hey I wanna know Which kernel is best for battery? I use Ctrlondemand in Preware. And I run it 1.5. What do you think? Best battery and performance kernel? What is it? Thanks for answer
Best battery would be to under clock the processor lol as for speed, uninstall your kernel and download f4, I had another one that would only use one core of the processor, phantom uses both.

Every kernel for the touchpad uses both cores.
Not the one I was using, govnah only showed one core no matter what I did. Not trying to argue, maybe it was just mine

That is an indication that you didn't disable your previous Govnah profile before switching kernels, or that you are using an alpha kernel for which Govnah has not yet been updated to support (that's one reason why you shouldn't use alpha kernels unless you know what you are doing and can control it from the command line).
Every webOS TouchPad custom kernel has always overclocked both cores.
You don't want the second core running unless it is required. You don't keep your engine idling at 7000RPM when you're sitting at the traffic lights.
-- Rod
Maybe it was alpha, I got it before preware switched. anyway, the one i'm currently using seems to be stable, thanks for the info i'm trying to learn as much as I can in my spare time but I am still a noob

I am using Warthog and its working good, battery life seems to be a little shorter than uberkernal but it is running the CPU at a higher clock. Every once in a while it does seem a little jittery though.

that would be sweet, i read that its only stable to 1.7.....thats what everyone keeps telling me as well. I dont think ive seen a phone yet hit the 2.0 barrier on a dual core!
what are the steps you use on your kernel. I know the stock goes from 1.18 straight to 1.5. did you change that so it atleast has 1.2,1.3 and 1.4? it also goes from 192 straight to 384. do you add a 200 in there at all. I think that would help with power savings. especially when it comes to haves a screen off profile. The phone gets a little laggy when you have it set to just 192mhz for screen off. its better when its 192-384mhz. But having a 290 or something in there would help out im sure and save a little bit of juice due to being able to set it to 192-290 or what not.
just wondering. i thought the stock kernel on the phone was a little odd in them regards. it really likes 1.5 and really hates 192mhz.

Well everyone's device handled the OC differently right? Like I was able to get up to 1.83 with no reboots, where some couldn't get above say 1.7 .....it seems as if some of the devices out there had higher capabilitys than others.

It all boils down to voltage, some devices require more voltage than others, some require less. My 3D handles 1.83 all day long, but I had 3D's running at 1.83 LONG before I even had one, remember, I'm on Verizon.

Hey all,
I've been using CPU Master on my Rezound since I rooted it. But I used to use SetCPU on my Dinc. My question is, which do you prefer? I have the free version of CPU Master and paid for SetCPU.

Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Under/overvolting and io scheduler selection is really the only things it offers in the paid version. I've used setcpu on my og droid and on my incredible, but I bought CPU master when I got my rezound and I actually prefer it over setcpu. One thing I like is that the profiles are already set up for you, all you have to do is enable or disable them.
I've had really good luck with CPU tuner
Free and has a lot of features.
Under 8 posts for me so I can't post the stupid link... Just search for it in the market and check out the reviews.

this varies from person to person. needs to be scaled right while you're finding the sweet spot. I do -25 for each frequency. run it for awhile to see if you get a random reboot or lag and just reverse what you did. I did -25 for each until I have time to drop them further
sent from my rezound using tapatalk
Thanks very helpful. Seeing how well the undervolting goes before I make my final decision
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Depends upon the kernel. I found SetCPU worked better with stock and Ziggy's kernel. With dsb's smartass v.2 kernel, I find CPU Master works better.
Yeah I know that each phone individually responds differently to cpu/voltage changes. The dinc i had before this would take any frequency and kernel would throw at it. However underclocking/volting on my Rezound almost always ends in fc's
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
I use SetCPU mostly if I can... Provides more information than CPU master pro, I have both... The only thing that CPU master pro does that SetCPU doesn't is change voltages, in a crappy way though. I don't go through every clock to change them, that takes way too long. Instead I use incredicontrol to change them all simultaneously... I've never had problems with one over the other. They have both worked for me on all the kernels for this phone.
setcpu
I'm using Ineffabilis v1.0 with Ziggy's kernel. SetCPU has worked for me with no issues. I haven't tried CPU Master but I guess I haven't had the need to cuz SetCPU is working for me. I just don't completely get the whole undervolting. I understand the concept but don't know how to apply it with SetCPU, if that's even possible.

So I have had this phone for about a week and the ROMs/kernels I've had on it only go up to 1732mhz. I started looking for jb ROMs today and came upon this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831841) so using it for the first time I noticed I had tons of profiles and a clock speed up to 1944mhz. I attempted to go past my usual oc and I got to 1789mhz but after 1832mhz my phone freezes...why do these kernels or ROMs have high clocks that I or others can't get to without issues? It just makes no sense for something to be there that can't be used w/o issues. Anyway if anyone can please tell me how to get higher clocks or am I doing something wrong? Any help will be thanked.
