Description:
As the name implies, this application will prevent the volume from changing. You may know in Android while in Silent mode, it changes to Normal mode without any notification when Volume Key is pressed unfortunately. This will cause trouble to many peoples .So I made this application to prevent it
from changing.
It will prevent the Silent mode from changing. In Android, there are 5 Volume control such as System, Music, Ringtone, Notification and Alarm. By using this application you can prevent a particular volume or group of volumes from changing based on your profile. It has profile features and also you can schedule your profile.
When mode changes, it will notify you either in Toast message or Simple Dialog box. You can choose the style while creating a profile.
Features:
1. Profiles
2. Notification Type
3. Scheduling features with Time and Date
4.Easy to use

(I have non-english ROM, but look for sth similar as described)

didn't use this ROM and don't have enough info, so I'm shoooting blind here:
do you see the screen I pasted, but with only two tabs ('Time' and 'Alarms') present?
-> if no, then you need to get there - go to HTC settings page, press 'Menu' button on right bottom of the screen, choose 'More' and then you will see the standard WM settings with 'clocks & alarms' icon
-> if yes then you could try changing this in the registry: go to the key [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar], and set value of entry 'LimitedClock' to 1, then soft reset and check if it worked

i have only two tabs(time and alarms) and i try with total commander to change the registry and set the LimitedClock value to 1 and reset and clock is still up, then set LimitedClock to 0 and soft reset and he is here ...
btw. default value of LimitedClock is 1
seems that a question similar to yours was asked in Elegancia ROM thread, and the only suggestion to be found there is BattClock

Access the number pad
Long press the 12# or 123 button on the keyboard. This will only work if you have the standard keyboard installed.
Access the scientific calculator
When using the standard calculator, rotate the phone to landscape mode. The calculator will change to a scientific one.
Remove numbers from the call log
If you have made a call to a number that you don't want anyone seeing in your call log, press Call log on the Home screen. Then press and hold on the contact you want to remove. When the Menu appears, press Delete.
Save images in browser, email or text
To save an image in an email or in the browser, long press on the image and a menu will appear allowing you to save it.
For images inside text messages, you might have to press and hold on the message itself, rather than the image.
Allow swear words in voice recognition
By default, the phone will recognise swear words, but insert x's instead of the word. To change this, go to Settings - Voice input & output - Voice recognition settings. Then untick Block offensive words.
View all camera settings
While in the Camera app you can view all current settings by pressing and holding the little Gear icon in the top right corner of the app.
Swipe right to dial contact
From the Contact list or the Messaging list, swipe from Left to Right to call a Contact.
View CPU and battery information
To view information about your battery and CPU go to your phone dialer and type in the following code: *#*#4636#*#*
Disable the screen lock
Go into Settings - Location and security. Then under Screen unlock settings press Change screen lock. Then chose None.
Rejecting a call with a message
If you receive a call you cannot take (eg if you're in a meeting) you can send a text reply rather than just reject the call. When you receive the call, scroll up from the bottom and select a reject message.
Search music on Youtube from Music Player
While in the Music Player, long press on the song title of the music and you can search Youtube for more music.
Zoom when using the camera
Use the Volume keys to zoom in and out

yes , me too
Samsung phones have the contact swipe action, the RAZR does not. It does have swipe actions in the stock email client,though.
This is more of a generic Android tips list.

[TASKER GUIDE] Auto Hide Tablet bar in The Hybrid

This is a short guide that I have come up with for all those running DAGr8's The Hybrid RC6.2 ROM that wish to auto hide their tablet toggle bar when launching full screen applications.
What you will need:
1. Tasker
2. The Hybrid Rom with latest update
Getting Started:
Lets start by launching Tasker, and head to the Tasks tab at the top.
1. click the + symbol at the bottom to create a new Task.
2. I called this task TabletToggle, and then hit the green Check mark
3. Now click the + symbol again to add an action.
4. click on App and then Load App
5. Choose the ToggleBar application.
6. now click the Green Check mark to finish the task.
Now to create our FullScreen Profile.
1. head to the Profiles Tab at the top and hit the + symbol again to create a new Profile.
2. lets call this one FullScreen and hit the green check mark.
3. Next choose Application from the list that comes up
4. here you can select all the applications that you want to use in full screen, and hit the green check mark when you are finished.
5. A window of tasks will now appear; choose the TabletToggle task that we created earlier.
you will now see the following profile
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
6. Long click on the TabletToggle and choose Add Exit Task from the list.
7. now choose our TabletToggle again as the exit task.
Now your Full Screen Profile is all setup, and you can click the green check mark again the leave Tasker.
and here is a short video of how this will behave.
Are you using the Tasked app that is $6.49 on the market?
Yep, that's correct. It's such a powerful tool, its worry every penny; especially if you plan on doing anything with NFC as well.

Nice write up. I'm a huge Tasker advocate too and am continually trying to replace apps on my phone with Tasker if possible.

glad its working for ya! I just added my camera and a few more apps to the list this weekend
I love the fact that you can edit your profile whenever, so you can just go in and add any new apps without rewriting it all.
Can someone just upload the profile?

[MOD][XPOSED][4.1+] Loyalty - Hide chats in the Telegram messenger

Loyalty
Hide chats in the Telegram messenger
In the official Telegram messenger client Loyalty allows you to hide (and show again) chosen chats.
To show hidden chats tap the title several times.
To hide the chats back tap twice, turn off the screen or minimize the app.
Your secret touches' sequence to show and events to hide chats are configured via the module's settings page.
Install notes:
install apk
enable the module in your xposed manager app
(for lsposed) select the Telegram app in the scope or - important! - uncheck and check it again if it's already selected
reboot (in case of (Ed)xposed) or terminate the Telegram app (lsposed)
select chats to hide, define the secret touches' sequence to show and the events to hide the chats back in the module's settings page
test!
Known behavior:
if the secret touches' sequence is set, the chosen chats will always be hidden at the Telegram app startup (when it has not been launched before)
to show the hidden chats the Telegram app will be restarted (this is a feature of the official client)
the chats are hidden in the main screen, in the search screen (chats, media, links, files, etc.) and also notification of them. Perhaps they can be visible somewhere else. If so, let me know

would you like to add support for nekogramx?
At the moment — no. Unfortunately the module is ui-dependent
1.2.2 can work with nekogram X V8.93-preview01, but 1.2.3 cannot. would you like to fix it?
try v1.2.4
Will this work on Telegram X? I'm trying it with LSPatch and Telegram X and it doesn't seem to be working but idk if it's because Telegram X isn't supported or because it only works on full root (aka LSPatch issue)

Unfortunately no. It's mostly UI-dependant, so the support need to be added additionally
I activated the module but I can't hide any conversation nor can I hide the saved messages from the home page

Question Apps to schedule off and on

Since One UI 5.0, the feature "Schedule Restart" had been removed. Is there a schedule restart app that works in Samsung S23 Ultra phone and does not requires the phone to be rooted? Tried "Refresh - Auto Reboot, No Root" app and seems complicated to setup and couldn't get it to work.

Yes I have enable this but is kind of useless. A proper Schedule Restart app will be good. Don't know why Samsung removed this feature with the new One UI 5.0.

Actually not much on restart, I want the phone to be schedule shutdown at for example 1am and power on at 7am which I been using the schedule off and on for my previous Mate and Xiaomi phones that came with this feature.
Edit: Change my thread title to "Apps to schedule off and on"
why you need to shut it off?
just use Do Not Disturb mode

The question is not that, the good thing would be to be able to turn it on or off at the scheduled time for whatever reason, but as far as I know in the Samsung now you can not
I don't see the sense in having the phone start up: unless there is no security setting - which is not sensible - the phone actually won't start up until the phone is unlocked by the user...
Settings for planned periods in do not disturb -, or Airplane mode, should serve most needs.

The automatic start is fine if you have programmed an alarm and leave the phone off, it will start and without having entered the credentials the alarm will sound.
