Hello,
I have an XPS LT26i with the following problems:
1.When on Charger, costant Red light but battery never charges
2.Some times when it charges after a while it tries to boot but it shows only black screen with back light on then after a while goes back to red light and screen completely off.
3.I can shut it down with power+Vol Up 3 shocks and i can flash it with flashtool and Sony firmware update (it can enter flashmode only when is on charger, any one usb from pc or wall charger)
It has locked bootloader.
I cannot turn it on with power button.
History on how it ended this way is unknown.
I need you help and knowledge how to proceed.
Thank you in advance.
Does your pc detects your phone? If yes fix it via SUS or PC Companion.
How do you know it has a locked bootloader if you can't turn it on?
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
I flash it with SUS and nothing changed.
I know it has locked boot loader because I can use Sony tools to flash like SUS or/and PC companion. Also pressing volume up and connecting USB blue led never lights so I have no fast boot access.

Did you select to fix it in SUS?

faulty i'd say.. your bootloader seems to be locked so just take it to the sony center and they will fix it under warranty i suppose..

Hey u tagged my thread, I am flattered , I dont suffer from that problem anymore though ,
Sorry to bring this problem back from the grave but did you ever fix this? Mine is currently showing the same exact signs.
try download the official ftf and flash via flashtool.
ok I fixed it by installing SUS from Sony. The Sony Update System? It restored it back to factory settings.

I accidently Bricked my xperia s when trying to flash using flashtool. While it was preparing for files to flash I took it out thinking it hasnt started as I realised it was the wrong firmware i wanted and know it wont turn on and wont even load on fastboot, also my bootloader is locked.
Any Suggestions. It doesnt have any light or power on.
tried using seus says pc companion must be updated but its the latest version already.
doesnt even seem to recognize the device, no vibrations, lights or soung.
tried to connect using wotan, but when i try to connect it just freezes.
You still can repair using pcc even if you have the latest firmware.
Try vol up +power untill you get the vibration.
Maybe the battery is empty???

i cant get the device to boot into flashmode anymore.
there used to glow a green or blue led light when i connected the device in flash or fastboot mode.
at the current state all i can get is the red led on top to glow if i connect to charger or usb.
im willing to give the device away if someone wants to change for any working sony smartphone..

As ur saying ur device connects in fastboot mode just flash the kernel with CWM recovery (r d one u got iwth the zip in JB rom)..
den install JB from the zip (assuming zip present in sdcard)......
it will solve ............

I have an unlocked bootloader. I tried using fastboot to flash the kernel.elf file in the JB rom zip file but it failed. It said my device had to be rooted and all but my device was already rooted. I used the flashboot fix specified in the thread attached below. It worked and i flashed a stock rom just to be safe and get a working phone.

Thanks for the help though.

Hi everyone...
Yesterday my sxp was working alright when i decided to relock bootloader. So I used relock ftf file and flashed it via flashtool. Now I used SUS to update my phone. But when i pressed Vol down and plugged in usb, i just got a red led and sus didn't detect my phone. I thoght battery is not enough, now the situation is:
***when i connect my phone to wall socket, red led turn on for few seconds, then it turn into green led for 1-2 second and then led goes off.
***if i try to use power + vol up/down....no vibration...only blinking red led for couple of seconds
***phone is not being detected by SUS or flashtool, as connecting via usb holding vol down button only gives red led.
I am stuck here. Any help is appreciated.
Which relock file did u flashed... And after that did u flashed stock firmware also???

Its even better if you flash stock before you flash relock tft. Stock kernel works with locked and unlocked bootloader. But if you are using custom or cm kernel, then it will cause exactly what happened to you...

Ohai there... Had this problem myself, and i found out that you have to flash stock firmware after relocking... This also happend to my XGo, and flashing stock firmware fixed the problem! Hope you have a working Xperia P afterwards!
Also charge your phone over night before flashing!
If u cant turn ur phone after hours of charging. ..Take out battery...charge with auto charger...put it on..it will vibrate than flash it...

I had a Locked Bootloader and I was looking for a new Rom and the post didn't have any info about which version it was for so I tried it.
Installed no problem (I asume), then when I try to boot it up nothing will happen, if I boot without USB it will shake 1 second, red light and nothing on screen.
The cellphone won't react if I have USB connected to it :c.
What should I do?.

When the phone is off and you hold down vol- while you connect the USB cable the phone enters flash mode and the small upper led is red while the bottom big led bar goes green. At least for me with a XT25i locked bootloader Xperia U.
So I would say, yes your phone is able to connect in flash mode. Just flash a stock ROM and you should be fine.
Thanks for the fast answer I will try it now.

So i was trying to get my Z2 on Cyanogenmod and I attempted to update TWRP to the latest version. After flashing the file and attempting to reboot, the phone has been unresponsive. Holding down the power button makes a vibration but nothing happens. Holding down the power and volume down makes it vibrate three time but still nothing, same with the red reset button. Can't get it into recovery to factory restore it either. Connecting it to my laptop it is recognized by the PC companion but cant do anything with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flashtool doesnt work either.
Try to put your phone in to the Fastboot mode. Instal Xperia z2 driver, if You have a x64 bit Windows version you must turn off Driver Signing in Windows before you install a drivers for the phone. Then try to flash a stock rom with Flashtool. Sorry for My ENGLISH.
Ok I was able to flash stock android firmware with the Sony flashtool. I don't know why it wasnt working before.
