Hi,
I just switched from iOS to Android. I was wondering if I could make the email notification more efficient, like the one for iOS for example:
The notification would show 3 different emails in separate list
Email from: Jelly, "Subject"
Anna, "Subject"
Luke, "Subject"
rather than telling me that you have "3 emails"
Thanks.
The only Advice i can give you is play around with the email setting to see if that helps.
no apps for that ? What a shame =(
Perhaps email notifier?? Type email notification in store there's a few.

Love this community! with that said I have a question about alerts and sounds.
I use the standard email app for work, and have a sound assigned to it. What about my other apps, like gmail, tapatalk, text message. am i doomed for them to all share the same sound or is there a way to assign a certain tone/sound to each of the above mentioned items?
Thanks

I believe you can change the notifications for most apps. Just open app and goto setting. I have a different notification for gmail, exchange, and measages.
One of the things I've never liked about the stock email app is that it does not provide real time IMAP push notifications. I recently came across a solution that might be helpful for others wanting push notifications with the stock email app. The app is called eNotify: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hermes.enotifylite
It basically sits it the background monitoring the email accounts you have set up and gives you a customizable notification whenever you get an email. Tapping on the notification in the pulldown takes you to the email app. It's simple and it has worked flawlessly for me. I thought this might be helpful for those who have not come across it.

Hello folks,
I'm looking for an email app with really persistent notifications, that is: instead of the single tone/vibrate notification when a new email arrives, I need it to keep notifying me periodically (say, once per minute) until I open the app and read the email, or at least clear it from the notification shade.
Can anyone recommend an email app that does that, or an addon/plugin/extra app that accomplishes the same thing?
Thanks,

Missed Message Flasher, though it doesn't support all third party email apps.

MissedMessageFlasher (plus K9-Mail configured to the specific email account I need monitored) is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you very much!

Anyone use Blue Mail as their mail app? Seems relatively new with only 10,000+ downloads, but has 4/5 stars in ratings. I dont want to use Maildroid with Ads and need support for Office 365/Gmail at the same time. It seems there arent very many apps other than the default mail app and Maildroid that support both simultaneously.

I use Blue Mail and I love it. However, I have an issue. Maybe I'm getting dumb in my old age, but I can't figure how to switch between different email providors. Any help?

Looking for email app with separate email icons & unread msg counts on home screen
Hi,
First time poster and first time user of Android phones. I know I am late to the game having just moved over from the blackberry.
The biggest thing I miss is having separate icons for my different email accounts along with unread email message counts on my home screen. I like to keep my work email separate from my personal accounts and from my travel confirmation account. I travel every week for work, so it's very useful to be able easily call up my confirmations for the week.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!
