Hi there! I've a really serious problem my friends. I hope you can help this problem and we fix it..
I've had in the past months, 60.53 mb health downloaded a system update without any problem. When I check to install, I got an error as shown below. During the installation, before the figure on the telephone icon with the two arrows pointing at each other process was conducted in a normal way. Located in the bottom 25% of the box a little, and then I added the image I get the error until the installation is done. This process several times, trying different methods (both shape applied factory reset, formatted sd card, the phone changed the language, etc.). Tried to install the update, but somehow I was unable to phone.
My device has been Britain and i'm live in Turkey, if it can have an effect??
What is the reason you think of this situation?
Faced with a problem like this before, that it was?
opps, i hope you get an answer today
Any progress?

Hello there,
I got a new S3 I9300 from ebay and the device status is :modified, Trying Software update gives: "your device has been modified. Software updates are not available".
No modifications made from my side and the seller informed that this is unlocked i re-checked with seller today. Look's like there is a known problem, i see many other users reporting this problem. I tried all the solutions provided in all the forums that google has presented with but none of them worked.
2nd, I'm tried to do Cache wipe it gave the message the wipe complete but when i select reboot now, phone displays error icon. See link:
h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf-JAVA/Doc/images/910/c03735020.jpg
I tried Hard reset, i get the successful message and when i do reboot now, same error icon again and it goes no where from there, i have to hold pressing the power button to restart the phone.
I see this is a china version (CHN) and as well all S planner content etc are in chinese, i'm not able to change it as i know.
Any information on what could be the problem leading to error icon and Any solution to my actual problem ?
Would really appreciate your help,i have already spent 12-15hrs trying to find a solution.
Can u check if the phone is a fake anot?

what does it say under product name in download mode(volume down+home+power)?
Thanks a lot for taking time and responding to my query.
I have sent the phone back instead of spending anymore time on it. What i see is the firmware installed is of Chinese. I'm not sure how does that affect the apps language though.
Waiting for a new one now.
Hello,
I was delivered my Onda v975m v3 with 1.0.8 firmware, and upgraded to 1.1.0 with no problems. I was happy with the performance, but after some time the problem started.
Namely after many hours of constant using my device just crashed with white screen and red message saying: "The machine has a serious error, need reboot to repair".
So it reboots, and everything seems to be ok...till next crash :/
After a few crashes it stopped to reboot, so i decided to flash official KitKat beta hopefully thinking that it will solve the problem.
But it didn`t, and moreover another issue appeared.
Now my internal SD card is broken. I don`t have an access to the storage, and have a permanent notification saying: "SD card damaged. You may have to reformat it".
Well it doesn`t look good at all, but device is still working and applications are able to run.
I was searching other forums looking for the similar problem, but it seems it is very first case of such an issue.
Do you have any idea either it is a hardware or (hopefully) some firmware problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.
I have recently purchased a Wikipad 7 tablet and have been using it for a few weeks. I rooted the tablet using KingoRoot and the root was successful. Using a app included with the root called Superuser I deleted some system files I considered safe to do so in order to speed up the tablet and free up some space and the tablet worked fine after doing so. A couple of days later, I decided to perform a factory reset in order to get rid of multiple large files I had downloaded but could not have the effort to find. The reset went as normal until I tried connecting to wifi in the setup wizard. A screen showing 'Connecting to wifi' appears for some time before the message 'Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped.' appears and I'm taken back the first screen where I have to choose my language. I have tried multiple times to connect to wifi successfully but to no avail. I have tried things such as turning off the router in order to bypass the process but the screen that appears after skipping wifi configuration (the one which asks permission to let google access your location) shows the same message after tapping on the left or right arrows located at the bottom to let me proceed through the setup or go back.
I have tried to search the internet for a solution to this problem, but the solutions were unexpectedly complicated for me to get around as I not understand some of the terminology used and the steps to fixing the problem seem to be specifically for one kind of device.
If anybody could have any knowledge on how to solve this problem then help would be greatly appreciated. It would be preferable if the method to fixing this problem would be as simple as possible to perform and understand. If you would like any additional information regarding the tablet in order to help with solving the problem, please to not hesitate to ask as I will provide all I can.
Yet again, any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

I solved my issue by restoring Lollipop (v.39) with the tool from the wiko website and then performing the update again; the phone started again (at v.41) and I was able to download Marshmallow from the next system update.
Issue was probably caused by some configuration or application.
Still slowly downloading Marshmallow now, so cannot say anything about the next update, but I guess that will go well, since the phone is reset now.
Just to follow up: Marshmallow is working fine on my Wiko Fever, much better than Lollipop. Amazing update.
Instructions for others after having read some comments from other people experiencing issues with the upgrade:
- BACKUP all your data before upgrading from Lollipop to Marshmallow, as if you would buy a new phone; I luckily did, as I wanted to set the microSD from removable to internal
- remove the microSD and (after having a backup of all your data as per step above) format the card as FAT32 on your PC; better to have a clean MicroSD card for after the upgrade I think
- reboot the phone in recovery mode and do a: wipe cache+reset to factory settings
- once the phone is reset and started, proceed with upgrading to Marshmallow
- don't know if needed after the upgrade to do an additional wipe cache+factory settings reset, doesn't harm to do it though
- be unhappy for the hours lost in restoring the phone data + apps + reconfigure everything
- be happy of the improved phone software
Questions upon questions.
So, i got the notification for the update last week, and i saved it until today to install it. The file downloaded was just 7 mb, i had enough battery for the intallation of the update (30% recomended by the software), something got messed up and an error message with the dead android character appeared. I know i lost all my things contacts and sd card... tried to hard reset the damn thing and nothing. I already googled the problem and i found nothing similar to what i get, i'm stuck in the recovery screen and the phone doenst shut down, every time i force it, it just boots back up after 15 30 seconds. I got to be honest i tought it was just another update but aparently its a "new" operating androind system. They could have told me with a update log or something...
Hello everyone.
My girlfriend had been having problems with the installation of Whatsapp since a couple days ago. It told her that it needed to be re-installed, and doing so wouldn't help.
After trying with resetting the phone to factory defaults to no avail, I decided trying to install a custom mod for the phone but I couldn't find any reliable one. I tried with one called MoKee with which not even the home key worked and then I looked for a stock version and found an alleged one in a ad-ridden page. It's supposed to be installed using something called SP Flash Tools, which seems to be made by a chinese company or group, but the image wouldn't flash to the phone because it encountered a 'CHIP Error'.
So far, the only image that seems to be working is one that I found in another unreliable web-page. It is a MIUI distribution supposedly made for this phone, but it won't detect the SIM card in any of the two slots the phone has and it seems like it can't even find the IMEI in either of the two chips I suppose it has for handling the SIM cards, because it keeps popping a message that says something along the lines of "Invalid IMEI".
I'm desperate.
Is it possible to install the necessary drivers for the SIM card chipset on the phone, or do you know about some repository where I could find the stock firmware for it?
Right now, I'd just want the phone to be in operable conditions, Whatsapp issues aside.
For reference, the model on the back of the phone just says "iris 870", and this is the name of the MIUI distribution I downloaded: "Miui_8_For_Lava_iris_870_[wwwromclaimscom].zip"
I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I posted this also on the newbie-friendly section, sorry for the duplicate post.
