Do you see the carrier iq in HTC setup wizzard apk. This needs to be disabled. I'll give it a shot once I have some free time. I hate these spying crap. Why can't they just leave us alone

This was my first thought too.
Hopefully there's nothin fishy going on here and that they've learned their lesson....that's likely just inactive leftovers.

Yeah the thing was so dang deep on the OS I wouldn't be the least surprised if bits and pieces are other places... Nothing causing actual harm but still there to an extent..

TeamWin signature support banners

I got board bored and since I know nothing about coding or development, thought I'd put the skills that I do have to some use to show support for the best thing to happen to Evos since CyanogenMod. Can't wait for root and CM on the 3vo!

Diagnostic menu for 3D

Found this just messing around with my phone....pretty cool diagnostic menu for 3D.
*#*#3424#*#*
You can test the lights, buttons, even battery run down test.
Hmmm! So you just so happened to hit that exact sequence AND remembered exactly what you did as you were "messing around". Pretty sure there is a thread already! Messing around...whatever dude.
I did that sequence since you have to do the similar one on nexus s

Why can't people just say thanks anymore? Damn. Everyone is so uptight on here nowadays its not even fun to post or read some of the threads...
Neat trick! Thanks! Helped when I swapped out LEDs and ran the new colored LEDs through a semi-stress test

I'm trying to build one right now that uses the go launcher. However I'm new to doing anything on Android Roms so we will see how it turns out. Right now its rather buggy.

I'll post it though if I get it working and packaged. Hopefully I can learn more cause the development here is rather slow... No offence to to the great developers that are here. I'm just coming from the HD2 where there were about 5 updates every day. lol

Yeah pretty cool man, u think you can do something in uot?
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using XDA App
Well... I tried uot and it works well for some things. But others such as the notification menu didn't turn out very well. We'll see though what I end up with. I have found the go launcher to work rather well and its not to hard to theme.

[Q] Dual Core Possibilities

I saw this thread on the front page of xda and was wondering if there are any obstacles that we'd have to go around to get this working on the amaze. I used the SystemPanel app to check that the second processor was working and it isn't being optimized. Let me know what you gusy think?!
Here's the thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681183
That's inaccurate.
I've posted screenshots of both working before.
Open system tuner. Push home to go back to home and leave app running in background. Go to YouTube. Stream a video. Switch back to system tuner.
The second core kicks in when it needs to. My screenshots showed both fully in use at 1.5, one at 1.5 and one at 750, one at 380 and one at 800.... They both work
Edit: here are some more

im an idiot
yeah i checked it out, at first i saw the second one off and thought it was supposed to be on at all times. Thinking they would divide the cpu in half, but I tried it and it worked, probably didn't change anything. Oh well, thanks for the heads up...

can someone PLEASE tell me what this symbol is!?!?

so i went to send a text like normal and i noticed this symbol i hadnt seen before. i thought it was something i just always overlooked. until i went login to something, and instead of a normal bullet point to hide the password, this symbol has replaced it. no matter what im logging into. it shows up no matter what keyboard im using. its just really weird, it kinda looks like a coffin with with wings and a letter N in the middle..if someone can let me know i would greatly appreciate it. im not signing in to anything until i find out!
