[Q] Sync iTunes with Sony Xperia S - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Is there a way to sync iTunes with my XS like how we do for iPod?
Most importantly smart playlists can be synced.
There's a lot of apps out there but most of them are not syncing playlists.
Any help?

Hi! I've been trying to do that on Android for years! Everything I tried except for one app were useless!
Last week I bought the app iSyncr in the market. It syncs playlists, smart playlists, updates those playlists, it can send your usage stats back to iTunes, it really is exactly what us iTunes users are looking for!
You can test the lite version for free, it has a few limits but you will see it does the job perfectly! p.s. it syncs very fast too, fastest on Android that I've seen.

Sorry about that.

Check my links above, I put the Google Play links for both the paid and the free/lite version. I tried the free version then bought the paid. I emailed the developer team for the app - they welcome suggestions. They are exactly the same - they want iTunes properly synched to their Android.

Oops I think there was some confusion.
Anyway, the two links I posted above are definitely legal - the Google Play store.

[App] XDA Market - completely free appstore for everyone

Hi,
when I started this project i wanted to make an appstore for Windows Mobile where everyone can upload and download apps without paying anything.
Now thats the result:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Whats the idea of the XDA Market?
There is already an appstore for Windows Mobile (MS Marketplace) BUT you have to pay money in order to publish your apps.
So I started developing the XDA Market. Everything here is for free. I want to give developers the possibility to get much user and much feedback, without paying.
XDA Market is an appstore for everyone:
Developers
-Upload your own apps for everyone without paying anything.
-Everyone can access and download your app without the need of a registration.
-Publish updates through xda market: Be sure everyone will get it.
-Detailed download statistic.
Users
-Browse through apps for your device.
-Rate, comment and download them.
-Favorite apps and never miss an update.
Main features:
-Client for Windows Mobile
-Automatic update function for the client.
-Message system.
The Download for the Client and much more can be found here:

Lookin nice! I'll check it out here shortly!
As far as why devs aren't uploading, it looks like you only released it a few days ago... Give it time. The vid looks very promising!
Once I release the next version of my KD-Font app, I'll look into uploading it into your app store.
Thanks!
Seems like a nice idea, but doesn't seem to work on my phone (HTC Tilt, Windows Mobile 6.5). I get scrollbars (both at the side and the bottom), the title (XDA Market), but other than that, nothing shows.

Yeah it's in dutch, but it's about the idea
try to delete an app from your account or change anything. i spoke for a long time with google developer on the phone and they strictly forbid it. no exceptions! if you switch phones alot and do not want to create a new gmail account for each new phone, you will understand what i mean.
cheers,

If it's from your phone it's not installed, it's simply a value in their DB that IF you get a new device you can simply download that app again.
I don't want to be mean, but you sound like a paranoid parrot to me.
Or did you buy some freaky app which continues to haunt you?
Someone grab my foil hat!
i do ALOT of 'testing' and 'repairing' and i do not need google hammering me about apps everytime a swap an esn or a phone. i tried to clear market accounts to stop this and you can not! see my above post. you telling me as soon as you swap phones and sign in to market you do not get notices? it eats bandwidth and slows me down when testing. if you do not think google records everything in detail and it is associated with your specific esn/meid I.E. you, you are waaaaay too much a noob. they even say it on tv from crying out loud, lol. or just call them and use some social engineering and speak with a developer
cheers,
disco
spc_hicks09, i'm not that paranoid anymore, when i was i would just goto a sprint store and 'test' a display unit and make a phone call from it then 'repair' another phone and therefore i appeared as if i was calling from a sprint display fone. lol that was years ago.
cheers,
disco

because "googling apps" is also common to pirating apps. And even if you do it for FREE apps, its a waste of time.
you guys really need to get rid of your phones. I don't think they deserve this much paranoia from their owners. end their lives for gods sake.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 in Taiwan, complete NOOB

Hey everyone. I've been searching for hours and I just can't come up with anything...
I just got a S3 yesterday (switching over from the iPhone 4). I'm in Taiwan by the way...so I'm guessing this is the international version of the phone?
I'll post all the "about device" info just in case...
Model Number: GT-I9300
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: I9300XXLG3
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-570657-user
[email protected]#1
SMP PREEMPT Tue Jul 10 22:39:22 KST
2012
Build Number: IMM76D.I9300ZSALG3
I installed Groove IP Lite on my phone and it allows me to use Google Voice with wifi, which is great, but I want to purchase the pro version to use on 3G! When I tried to do that Google Play Store says, "Item not available in your country."
When I used the iPhone, all I had to do was switch Apple accounts to a different country but now I am completely lost as to what to do.
Here are several things I tried:
1. VPN (I have excellent VPN on my computer, so I added it to my phone too.)
It connected, I was even able to reach Netflix, but unfortunately it would not let me into the US Google Play Store.
2. I tried looking for "Market Enabler" and "Market Unlocker" but I cannot find them in the store!
What I want to do: I want to install two apps. Google Voice for texting back to the States and GrooveIP Pro for being able to call both on wifi and 3G network.
If at all possible, I don't want to "root" the phone, because I honestly have no clue what I'm doing and seeing as how there are so many versions of this phone, I'm really afraid of screwing up.
Please, can someone help me do what I need to do?
I tried to learn a bit about all this but...I still can't figure out what is apk...
So...sorry! I'm really really new to this. It's my first android phone.
Thanks everyone!
Apk is the extension for android apps. Just like exe is for windows app. Market enablers will need root as far as I know.

MOD Edit: Posting warez is against the rules
Need I remind you this is a developer forum. You posting a link to a paid app is a huge slap in the face of the developers in this community. Would you go to an album release party and try to peddle pirated copies of the album? No? Then why would you do it here?

You could try turning on your VPN and creating a new play store account. When you initially set up your account it might have pegged it as a Taiwan account, so even if you use your VPN, it will still put you as Taiwan.
Not sure it will work, but worth a try.
That or root your phone and use market enabler. The rooting process is quite simple, search the forum for the Chainfire (CF-Root) and read how it works. After download it takes like a minute.

You are asking support for installing pirated applications which would not be appreciated by anyone. The fact is that every version of the pirated app would have a different digital signature and won't replace the previous one unlike legally side loaded applications which carry the same signature.

There goes your answer. You're sideloading apps that's not from the playstore. You can't sideload apks if it doesn't come from the playstore since it has security checks such as that to avoid conflicts.

The very first and the only working MIDI player for Windows Phone platform is finally here!
Application features perfect software MIDI synthesis (the same or even better than your desktop PC, using Gravis Ultrasound compatible patches), cool themed spectrum analyzer visualization, huge MIDI database access, playlists support and many more...
Free version has limited functionality but with in-app purchase you may unlock all features and remove advertising banner (and also support future development of this and other premium class application from the SeNSSoFT, Ltd)
Enjoy!

P.S. Currently IAP is not working on W10M (but working fine on WP8.1); looks like it a MS store issue so I'm working on resolution (according to some forums, it's a "timing" issue and IAP will be available soon).

OK, MEACULPA! i've missed an option... corrected now :good:
MidiPlayer got an update: now you can export midi files to the mp3 format (I believe, it's one of very first implementation of mp3 encoders on wp market) and uncompressed PCM (wav) format.
So, with additional app help (these countless ringtone makers in the store) you can convert yours good old midi polyphony sound to the ringtone for your WP8.1/W10M. Sorry, there are NO legal methods or API in UWP to add ringtone directly from the app (it's available for WP8.0 apps only - "thanks", damn M$)
"MidiPlayer" got another great update: now SoundFonts (.sf2) are supported! (available with the "Premium features" purchase only).
For more information, please check http://senssoft.com/sf
P.S. And new, long waiting functionality is coming soon...
