If you have not done a backup up then no.
ALWAYS BACKUP JUST IN CASE YOU F*** UP!
Use sms backup to backup messages and call log and sync your contacts with your google account....

If you were sync your contacts with your Google account you might find your contacts again when you log in with your g acc but messeges I think not

Pre-installed? How is that? Can you share the apk with me please? I have the YouTube 2.0.26.
Isn't the YouTube 2.1.6 only supposed to be for Android 2.2?
Help me out please.
I got the new YouTube when I flashed gapps from free X10 (2.2)

Aah! Looks like you are running a 2.2 on yours. I am still on 2.1 so the new YouTube will probably not work.
My advice: update the latest baseband & build number, install the 2.2 and flash gapps, you'll get a beast from a phone.

I am gonna try that. However, aren't there certain limitations to the 2.2 on X10? They are still working on it right?
I use my phone for both official and personal purpose and do not want to risk certain features of it not working like WiFi / 3G / Camera, etc. Have all these issues been fixed? If yes, would you mind directing me to the links where I can do as you instructed?
I am a learner and would appreciate any help you can provide.
#1 : flash this via xRecovery to get the latest baseband & kernel
#2 : then install FROYO 2.2.1 and flash GAPPS.
#3 : pick some of the awesome themes!
Cheers!

That's a major issue for me... I think I will stick to the 2.1 for now... till someone can fix this. Have you tried using the SE backupandrestore on the 2.2?

Restoring Manual contact join?

I have the donated TB latest version and Omega ICS rom. I have quite a lots of manual contact join (between Google & Facebook)... does TB back these join up? If so, when I move onto a new rom, which one needed to be restored in order to get these join back?
If TB doesn't offer this functionality, how can I do this?
Main reason being I'll moving to JB rom soon, which requires full wipe...
Thanks!

[Q] X10 Mini data before and after flashing rom.

Hi there, I'm a new user of xdadevelopers and am thinking about upgrading my X10 Mini with a custom rom. However, I have a few questions and would be grateful to anyone who could help me.
The first question is, when I back up everything (apps, calendar, system settings, etc.) will certain apps like the calendar, messages, call log, alarms and notes (basically all the system apps) will their data still work after I have restored it on the phone once I have flashed the rom?
Secondly, will my apps (like Angry Birds, Unblock Me, Peggle, etc.) retain their data once I have reinstalled them after flashing the rom?
And my last question is if there is a difference between these two roms: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151499 ? It's just I'm a bit confused with the pictures. In addition, if there is a difference (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151499 looks a bit more appealing) are there any instructions for this rom?
Thanks

Hi Empat (if I can call u that) thanks for you reply.
However about backing up things like the messages, I also mean about the calendar, notes, etc. (basically system app data) I was wondering if you could back up those too and if they would be compatible with the new system apps after flashing the rom.
And, um, do those backup apps u've just mentioned, do they come at a price?
Thanks

If you can do a backup with titanium backup from the data, you could try another rooted phone/tablet, restore it and see if the data's there. But I'm not sure if it will work, maybe the data is linked to the ics xperia s keyboard and you can't use them in gb or xperia t. If it's possible try it on another device.
Or you just do a cwm backup, flash gingerbread, root it and restore the titanium backup data. If it works you can be lucky, if not you restore the cwm backup and you have all your data on ics back and you can think of other steps
