so now is the question, do You guys maybe know some sites/online shops from where i can import Xperia TX? i know u will say probarly eBay...
i found one site ..but im not sure 100% about it xd
https://shop.celluloco.com/product.php?productid=3805
Kind Regards
Jimmy
hi,
I too am also looking for the TX. I bought the T but sent it back after a few days as there was a scratch on the screen. The only thing I didn't like about the T was the location of the power and volume buttons. The power button is too close to the volume rocker (both of which is too low down on the handset). The thing I like about the TX is the band that goes around the phone and looks pretty good in white.
Does anyone know of a website etc that I can order the TX ?
Dude that website you listed is too expensive $878.00USD is around €677.684EUR. I found this one at €539.85 EUR.
http://electronics.simplyelectronics.net/search?currency=eur&w=sony xperia tx&asug=
I never ordered of the website before but I think they get their phones from Hong Kong. I'm not sure about warranty etc. I asked them before about buying the Xperia P or U as it was cheaper and they said the following :
Thank you for your email and interest in purchasing from us.
We would like to inform you that the Sony phones are all brand new items and comes sealed in the original box. All phones are factory unlocked, so should work on the O2 network. In addition, all products from SimplyElectronics also come with a 12 month warranty from receipt of the purchase.
Having said that, if you would like to get priority dispatch, please kindly call our sales line and (select option 2) and one of our sales agent will gladly assist you to place an order over the phone.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,

But even at €539.85 the phone is too expensive as the Xperia T is €449 here

Is there any difference other than size with these phones?

Also isnt there like a forum for the Xperia T seperate to this, might have a better response over there bro

The size difference is marginal but there is a difference. Essentially there are the exact same phone but some design items makes the two of them feel and appear different. The internals are also slightly different producing some differences in performance.
The Xperia T Dimensions : 129.4 x 67.3 x 9.35 mm
The Xperia TX Dimensions : 131 x 68.6 x 8.6 mm
Bench mark tests show the T is better but the TX looks and feels a lot better. One is like Masculine and the other Feminine. To be honest the TX looks and feels way better but is not up to the exact same performance.
hey I found a Hong Kong website that offers the phone for a better price :
http://www.expansys.com.hk/sony-xperia-tx-lt29i-unlocked-white-236059/
With UPS to Europe its HK$4,915 or €489.401 EUR. They don't have stock just at the moment but its pretty good price.
Would you order the phone off the website ?

Was recently trying to buy one going for newegg and all of a sudden all three colors are gone, out of stock. I've also checked other stores online and its also "sold out" or backed up on special order. Even amazon's prices for the Neo shot up almost 80-100 USDs.
I know I can still find this on ebay or if I keep searching online but I just find it very strange this happen out of the blue, last time I checked was sunday and it was fine then boom, gone. Kinda reminds me of the mini pro when it was recalled in some places, anyone know about this?
I don't know, in holland there's no change except the €50 drop since i bought the phone.

Where have you bought it?
I bought it at MediaMarkt for €350
On the big webshops like Bol.com or Wehkamp, the phone still sells for €350<
I'm guessing the world is slowly starting to run out of them since Sony isn't producing it's 8MP sensor anymore (at least for their phone, they're now providing the sensor to the iPhone4S and obviously the Arc is still getting it) sony pretty soon you'll see 5MP Neo Vs taking over everywhere.

Interesting, I wonder if this is the reason why. I like the Arc but its a little too much for such a fragile looking device.
I checked through all these popular sites for me to order from in the US and they're all sold out.
Buy
TheNerds
Provantage
MobileCityOnline has all 3 colors for pre order... wth?
Newegg
I gave up looking because its either sold out (lies, a not so popular phone like this doesnt go sold out so quickly, specially not all 3 variants at the sametime) or its priced HIGHER than the Arc and they say its only a limited amount left like 2-3. The only thing that makes sense is it was pulled from online stores and Neo V will replace it.
starting to be more common now in Italy, specially thanks to some offers with some carriers contracts and a €40 discounted price from winter, but it's still a too pricey phone (350-399) to tempt people. They prefer toad other $$$ and buy iphone.
No ways to find cover or accessories, no printed advertising and so on...
Luckily I bough mine in asia on June for €260 :-D
Arc was almost the same price but I was looking for fornt camera and, yes, arc looks so fragile! :-(((
Hi guys,
Its time to say goodbye to Sony, all departments except PS Vita !!
Horrible experiences with Sony Tablets S and Sony Tablet P.
I gt it for SGD 668 n 848 respectively which us now selling at 370 in SG n 199 in US..
No phone releases in time, no news of T/TX/V in Singapore/across globe.
Even updates are not in time for upcoming phones.
Right now me and my wife using Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note II and trust me its awesome (I know many die hard fans will come up with design n plastic) but watever the phones are great, smooth, awesome specs.
For tablets m waiting for NEXUS 10 which is again Samsung !!

we really dont need another thread like this...
I'm really getting tired of this bashing. And I'm absolutely not allowed to make a pro Sony thread to give a contrast to that.
Seriously:
I love my Xperia P and wouldn't give it away
I still miss my Xperia Mini - It just fitted perfectly in my hands (for a handy price)
The only thing I got to criticise is the battery, but I can live with it. I got no problem in pluggin in my phone over night. The software is great - at least my user experience was it so far!

Mid range phones are good, ppl are frustrated coz of NO clear high end devices from Sony !!!!!
Sony has lost it completely, m also Samsung hater but switched to SGS3 from Xperia S..................
I think SONYmobile just "prove it" that "no need high specs phone to running android OS, even the latest release".
I'll have to say that I love my Xperia P. It's build quality is amazing compared to Samsung plastic.

Hello people , I just got my M4 Aqua (what piece of crap) and pictures and video recording aren't so good. Pictures are not so details , colors are bad etc. On video recording situation is similar but microphone is so noisy and quiet , do I need to scream to microphone record something? I not sure that is for all m4 devices or problem is only on my side, you tell me?
Also gaming performance is low ,lag even on not so high temps?!
Sorry for my english
well, my M4 Aqua definitely is not crap. perhaps you should smell next time before you buy something?
M4 Aqua is a phone that is meant for being used as a phone mostly with some light applications. If you made a mistake and bought it for games then it is your mistake.

You had to read some opinions on the phone, check in XDA and then buy the phone. It maybe has kind of good hardware, but the software's not good so it's not very usable phone.
Also it is not an expensive phone. Just a midranger. By expensive phone I understand the Z series, S6 and all that high end devices. Why do you buy a phone by just looking at its specifications ?

I really recommend you to sell it and buy more expensive phone, with insurance and you will be happy.
People have different needs and these needs do not make phone crap. I for example use phone for mail, some light browsing AND e-book reading - no games, no social networking, no Google Now (all these programs uninstalled or disabled) - and I am happy with it. Definitely more worth to me than €700 phones like Z5, etc. But then again, there are people who need the processing power of high end phones (even if it is just for showing off) and they really would feel miserable with M4 Aqua.
For example, compared to AMOLED screens I find M4 Aqua screen very good for reading (some people find AMOLED irritating for the eyes, I am one of these people).
I have 2.4 GB free space in 8 GB M4 Aqua, encrypted memory card to carry around sensitive information (not porn), the battery lasts 2 days, the 4G works perfect when I need it - it is a tool that works well for my needs.
So once again, you bought a phone that is not perfect for you, it was your mistake - but you can go on with your life and get better phone for YOUR needs.

Try different camera software. If the problem persists, go to Sony support and let them change the device (assuming it is under warranty).

He said in bulgarian that his phone is a present, so it's not his fault that he has this phone.
Imagine having less than 400 ppi on a €1000 phone in 2019.
Yup, it's terrible. I've had an S7 edge for 3 years before this, and a Nexus 5 before that. I can say I never felt the discomfort that I'm feeling now with this phone in terms of actually seeing pixels in text, images and most of all videos while using my phone.
Since I upgrade my phones every so rarely, I decided I can't really look at a screen this bad for the next 3 years without losing my mind.
Probably will switch to a Mate20 pro at this point.
And yeah, that's that...
Why 398ppi?
I have quite a few complaints about this device after 24 hours but the screen is one of the better aspects to me. Resolution isn't everything.
Things I don't like:
No notification LED bothers me more than I thought it would - possibly because I'm not used to having Huaweis without them
Single speaker setup is a shame
Camera is massively overrated as an auto shooter (again). Can't help but feel that many of the reviewers/influencers on the free Paris trip have let buyers down.
If I turn off the fingerprint for unlocking (eg so as not to light up my room at night) there's a bug where the screen keeps lighting up to unlock every few seconds when charging, even when it's on the bedside away from any humans
EMUI is still not very attractive to me.
The Kirin 980 doesn't seem as powerful as we are led to believe. The Mate 20 Pro I had before this seemed to fall down in browser rendering VS even the Snapdragon 835 for example. Still just as jerky on the P30 Pro.
It's a nice device other than that, and I've no idea why the display resolution would bother anyone.

As I said, PPI is a big no no for me. For the rest it does what it has to do ok for me. Battery life is amazing, the cpu is fast/snappy, cameras are awesome for photos (Videos not so much, but I don't care about videos tbh) and the Mate 20 Pro has way better PPI but pretty much same specs and very similar camera.
Plus is the 3d face recognition on it, which is another plus.
Also dual speakers, forgot that, and overall, a more well rounded device than I was expecting the P30 Pro to be

Actual discomfort? Are you sitting with your phone 2 inches from your eyes? In that case, I can understand your discomfort.
I checked the p30 pro and Mate 20 pro side by side at the store. The p30 pro display is clearly the brighter one. Despite checking out closely I couldnt find pixelation on the p30 pro. Currently using a mate 10 with 2k display. For sure the p30 pro display is much better than the mate 20 standard version and p20 pro which have 1080p display as well.
And the p30 pro speaker is louder than the mate 20 pro as seen on reviews online.
I love my P30 Pro as well, but I'm also seriously considering returning it for one reason: missing bands. It really sucks that the phone doesn't carry the newer LTE bands for AT&T/TMobile. I've tested and speeds are abysmal compared to my S8+ on the same network in the same area.
Can I live with it? Probably. Do I want to for 2 years? Hmm.

Yes, VOG-L04 does exist just not called out by model on Huawei Canada site. Clearly shows support for Band 66 :good:
This model is for Canada, Mexico & US (if US wasn't trying to protect Apple by not selling allowing Huawei to sell their phones here..)
I haven't had any connectivity issues where I live since they haven't even started Band 66 tmobile deployment at all in Indiana except up by Gary, IN & Bloomington. I may try to see if I can get one just to switch but that's doubtful unless I can find a non-carrier store to buy from.

I'm planning to buy V30+(LG-H930DS) from Amazon India as a secondary device, mainly for music, wide angle camera and for the compactness.
How would you rate the dimensions and weight, is it recommended? also i see no mention of this particular model in any ROMs so far, does the ROMs labeled for H930 work on this?

I'm planning to buy V30+(LG-H930DS) from Amazon India as a secondary device, mainly for music, wide angle camera and for the compactness.
How would you rate the dimensions and weight, is it recommended? also i see no mention of this particular model in any ROMs so far, does the ROMs labeled for H930 work on this?

To each his own. I bought a second LG V30 due to the DAC which I assume is not available in any other phone. For music this is one of the best phones out there. If you're into rooting there are a few modules and a custom ROM (Boombox ROM) that improves the sound profiles.
I don't take pictures much so not able to comment on the wide angle camera.
For a secondary phone you cannot go wrong with this one.
Reg Dimensions: it is quite wide and tall and single hand operations require juggling the phone. But quite slim in thickness and feels premium.
