Hello. I have a AT&T galaxy note which is hard bricked. I cant find anybody that can fix it thus far. I live in the Miami Area and the Broward area. If anybody can lead me th where i can get it fixed in south florida or have the jtag program that can bring my device to life, im willing to pay $$$$ to get it fixed. Please reply ASAP. I am miserable without my note.... Thanks a Million!!!!:crying:

Do a general search for JTAG repair ...
You'll get plenty of hits for people doing the repair ....
Very sorry for the brick ....g

I have looked everywhere. I spent hours. can't seem to find anyone with the jtag services.

You mail it and it costs $50 and takes one week round trip.

How do u doa hard brick?

the usual method is to flash a rom or kernel for a different device to yours.

[Q] Anyone in UK can repair my Leo?

Hi! I looking for somone trusted who can repair my Leo (v. T-Mobile USA). Phone died after flashing new rom with incorect radio. Will be great if I could do it in Liverpool or Manchester. Please.
you could always send it to htc, , , ,all tmous are still within teh 1 year manufacturers warranty. Dont mention flashing, and it'l be fine.
Thanks for answer. I called HTC already, but one nice lady checked the IMEI said that they have reported that the phone had something done with the software a few months ago and the phone is no longer a guarantee. I bought it from other person a week ago and have no contact with that person anymore.
ahh lol, so someone was stupid enough to try sending it back without removing hspl, , d'oh!
Good luck huntiung down someone with a JTAG box and the skills to dismantle it without damage. Get talking to freelance phone repair shops.
Thanks samsamuel ! Probably you have right. You are very helpful and experienced, you realy don't know anybody who could resolve my problem? Of course not for free.
heh, no sorry. I dont know anyone in the gadget biz. If I had a problem myself, and couldnt use warranty, i'd probably buy a riff jtag box and have a go myself, , but i wouldn't want to try it on someone elses phone, i hear the hd2 is sooo easy to break when dismantling.

If they are around the same price I'd just take it to the service center because that way a professional who knows what there doing can fix your phone. While the JTAG box is very helpful you can really mess up your phone if you don't know how to use it properly. Again if there about the same price its not worth the risk take it to the service center.

But... if you get a jtag/ riff box setup, then you can basically start a business unbricking phones, and maybe recoup your money.. But, remember, you need to have the proper software to resurrect your phone, or the know-how to develop it.

Mobile tech video claim to be able to jtag brick repair a Samsung admire for $40. Would love to find out how they do it.
I also found a website that sells a riff box (jtag) for $145 USD plus shipping.

Circle with strike thru it, "Loss of signal"?!?!

Hello, i bought my Samsung Galaxy s2 "epic" only 4 months ago, and TWO months ago, it started to have a circle with a strike through it ("loss of signal" i guess?) and it has NEVER worked since. Not even restarting it. I have also done a factory reset, but nothing works. I have tried replacing it through my insurance but they are always out of stock conveniently and want to give me some crappy cheaper phone. I want the one i bought! HOW do i fix this?! I already know there has been a "fix" for Sprint users with this problem, but I am Tmobile, so I am not sure that helps me any. No repair shops seem to know a thing about how to fix this..I am at my wits end, I have tried for over 2 months now to resolve this, and I just don't know how! I am not a person who knows about the technicalities of phones, just know how to use them. I saw a post that originally lead me to this site that had a fix on it, but it was waaay too complicated to really understand; i am BEGGING anyone who knows how to fix this to just walk me through it?! i have tried SO hard, this has been a HUGE source of stress for me after all of this, and I cannot afford to spend 600$ to replace it!!

It looks like to me the phone has either been reported lost or stolen which means that the real owner has rung the provider up and asked them to black list the phone so if anyone try to use it they won't be able to.It might be a possibly that the the modem part of your mother board is faulty you might just want to replace and hope for the best:silly:

Given the two bits of your original post that I bolded above, I think you may be in the wrong forum... Also, are you are SURE your phone is also called "Epic" anything? The Sprint Galaxy SII model is called the "Epic 4G Touch". But not the T-mobile model.
Are you on T-mobile in the USA? Or Europe?
What is your phone's precise model number? It is printed on the label under the battery.

I do have a similar problem.
After a coupleof month usage my phone randomly has this circle described above. Usually switching it off an then on agein does work and I get the signal back.
By the way, I am on T-Mobile Europe and have a Dual-Number SIM card.
Does it have anything to do with this?
I used the SIM card for years in other phones without problems.

[Q] unbricking s2

Is there anyone in England, that unbricks the Samsung galaxy s2, I have bricked my phone five times and had to send it to the US to get it unbricked , I know five times, I`m just lucky I guess. they do a good service but it can take weeks to get it back.. there is someone in Europe but I think someone should take this up, I was thinking off buying the riff box and doing it myself but I will probably **** it up.
I thought you said in the other topic you made in Sept the firm you used were "reliable and quick".
And theres plenty of firms offering Jtag services on eBayUK....you only pay the postage if they cant fix it.
As for a riff box.....they are only £120 but none I looked at said they work on the s2.
Maybe youd have to buy another item that costs a fortune so it can fix the s2.It must be possible though if people are doing it.....
Maybe someone could advise what you need and how much.
Any hey "sevens your lucky number"

I545 Question

Hello All,
I am new here and would like to say HI to everyone.
OK. Now down to business. I have a broken i545 that a friend gave me. Screen busted beyond belief. My question is i have found replacement parts for about 100 dollars to repair everything. Would it be worth it to fix. I have the phone taken completely apart and I think it will be an easy fix. My other question and most important is that i currently use Straight Talk. I would like to continue to use it. Will this phone accept and work on the att network with LTE? I dont wanna spend money on a paper weight. I just wanna know if the phone is even worth fixing I guess! Please any info would be much appreciated.
