Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S III which is bought in Barcelona Spain. Sadely it is simlocked and so I cannot use my Belgian sim card..
I'm wondering how this simlock works?
Also: If I flash a custom rom such as Cyanogenmod, will the SIM lock be gone?
If not? Any reliable other suggestions I can try?
(I already tried some but neither of them worked untill now)
Regards,
Nick

You don't have to pay, just download the app from the thread(not from the market) and make sure you have busybox installed (I don't know how much it costs)

what website do you recommend?
call your carrier if you're still on a plan with them, this phone's old enough they're not worried about you leaving.

Just to make sure. You tried galaxysim unlock. It is different than galaxy s unlock. Galaxy s unlock is no longer working on Jelly Bean.

So basically the answer is this :-

You can use galaxy Sim Unlock to unlock your phone running ICS or JB

Search the unlock services online. Phone is still new so there are only a couple of them that work and they have been hit or miss. Also this has been asked before and there is a thread with lots of discussion.
