You simply want to know the Rom with best battery performance right?
You will have to test that yourself since there are many things responsible for battery life.
Anyway, a kernel has more effect on battery than the Rom you are using.
Edit:
1.
i experience probably the same or slightly better battery on AOSP JB ROM of course with the right kernel compared to ICS or gingerbread.
2.
I seriously don't think this kind of thread is useful for anything though that's the moderators to decide

Thread Closed, battery life is subjective to the user.
Thanks

I know you are asking for aosp rom, but, try
OMEGA 27.2 or wanamlite 3.7
+
JB Domination theme + android stock internet browser + apex or nova launcher
+
PIMP MY ROM (<- awesome mod)
+
titanium backup pro to RE-ODEX a deodexed rom
I am having the better battery life that I never had before<- thanks to pimp my rom
A great AOSP "like" experience with the JB domination theme + aosp stock browser
an everything works fine because it is a samsung based stock rom
but especially thanks to "pimp my rom", I think my flasholic adiction is over :silly:
If I understood correctly, these kinds of posts (what is the best ROM?) are against the rules here at XDA.
But anyway... I suggest sifting through the ROMs published in the development forum and just reading what they're about, reading user experiences, and of course trying out the ones that seem interesting to you.
That's what I do.
That's what I imagine most people on here do.
That's what's so great about this place.
Thread reported to moderator....best rom threads aren't allowed here nor are they looked upon lightly, selection of a rom is entirely based on personal preference.

I m using the Omega ICS rom and i realise that i m getting a good battery life with it.
I have switched off the auto brightness and set it to 30% which gives me a good battery life.
Wow....this one went unnoticed!

These best rom threads are just silly.

[Q] Not looking for the best ROM, just a very stable one

Here's my problem: All the ROM threads are about the latest and the greatest, and that's not what I want.
I want a very reliable ROM that will get the job done with no fuss.
Is Cyanogen stable for the 9100 my best option? Or am I missing something?
Again, I don't care about it being the "latest" or "best" or any specific features. I want rock-solid, absolute stability. Advice?
You should try S3Mods with theme packs ...it one of the stable roms

Try the Omega Rom. Good performance, not the best battery but very stable.
Not overclockable but has the official JB 4.1.2.

Seconded, Omega rom is one of the best JB roms.
Surely for stability he shouldn't use a jelly bean leak and just go for a Samsung ics rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686. Try one from here the dev is amazing.

Whether you want the "best" or "most stable" this is a completely subjective and opinionated topic and its for this reason its not allowed as it just leads to a ****-load of duplicate topics like this one is.
If you want to know the most "stable" then go and read one of the other stable topics or try roms for yourself.
Fair enough, I accept your point. Feel free to delete this thread if you're a mod. (I'd delete it myself, but I'm not sure how.)

Remember guys, ROMs/kernels etc are all subjective so there really is no "best ROM" only ROMs that work best for you

[Q] Battery life in probam (generally CM10.2)

as the title says, whats the batterylife of probam? im currently using CHRONOS Rom v1.5 - GMega Edition and got a battery life of 8-12h which i think is pretty bad, i love the fact that i am running 240dpi tho, but i miss the feature of changing per app dpi, which i don't know how to implement by my self since im not an expert with modding.
in case the battery life of probam is 8-12h or worse, please recommend a better rom if possible. I would like to have battery life of at least 16-24 hours with regular use of battery life and ability to change per app dpi the android version doesn't matter.
Thanks

It wasn't intended to be a "what rom post" i have read the whole rom thread already and it doesnt say anything about what it is, only how to extend it but thats not my question. And again whats the battery life? I originaly posted in the rom thread but didn't get an answere... sorry for my bad english.
Stock roms have better battery life than CM fact .
Battery life varies between users fact .
You can try all roms all kernels yourself not a problem with Nandroid .
please recommend a better rom if possible
By any definition that is a what rom best rom question .

[HELP] Galaxy S3 International

Guys I have rooted my s3 since I didnt even putted sim in it.
I have flashed many custom roms and kernel.
some are good and some are very laggy and slow.
Also the performance and battery life on some custom rom and kernel are not very good.
I want someone to guide me with a perfect combination of custom ROM and Custom Kernel which has great performance and very good battery life.
Now I am using custom rom s5 sensation v4.0 with boeffla kernel 6.0.
Till now its working good and battery life is also decent.
As I stated up I want a perfect combination so that I can get very good free ram , battery life and performance.
Best Rom requests are against xda posting rules, as they can cause bad feeling. Try them yourself, there is no perfect combination only what is best for each individual.

[Q] Help to choose ROM

Hello.
I have here friend's phone which I resuscitated successfully
Now I want to install some custom ROM but I need to help with choosing.
Because it's for my friend, who doesn't know much about phones and ROMs, I'm searching for something stable and bugfree. But of course also something with good battery drain and speed
So probably something based on CM7.2 but what I looked, there is a lot of modification of them...
Thanks :highfive:

First for your kind information you can't judge between any Roms , not allowed in XDA so go go the Dev section read the features and all , then decided which rom to flash.
So it's not allowed to review the ROMs?
There are people, who always test maybe all ROMs. And always there are ROMs which are better in some way (speed, features...) but bad in others (stability, bugs, battery consumption...

It is not allowed to Judge between two Rom's I advise you to read all rules carefully !
Test it by yourself don't ask here .
