as the title says, whats the batterylife of probam? im currently using CHRONOS Rom v1.5 - GMega Edition and got a battery life of 8-12h which i think is pretty bad, i love the fact that i am running 240dpi tho, but i miss the feature of changing per app dpi, which i don't know how to implement by my self since im not an expert with modding.
in case the battery life of probam is 8-12h or worse, please recommend a better rom if possible. I would like to have battery life of at least 16-24 hours with regular use of battery life and ability to change per app dpi the android version doesn't matter.
Thanks

It wasn't intended to be a "what rom post" i have read the whole rom thread already and it doesnt say anything about what it is, only how to extend it but thats not my question. And again whats the battery life? I originaly posted in the rom thread but didn't get an answere... sorry for my bad english.
Stock roms have better battery life than CM fact .
Battery life varies between users fact .
You can try all roms all kernels yourself not a problem with Nandroid .
please recommend a better rom if possible
By any definition that is a what rom best rom question .

You simply want to know the Rom with best battery performance right?
You will have to test that yourself since there are many things responsible for battery life.
Anyway, a kernel has more effect on battery than the Rom you are using.
Edit:
1.
i experience probably the same or slightly better battery on AOSP JB ROM of course with the right kernel compared to ICS or gingerbread.
2.
I seriously don't think this kind of thread is useful for anything though that's the moderators to decide
Thread Closed, battery life is subjective to the user.
Thanks

Hey there guys , i would like to hear your opinions about different roms based on cm/aoPropertieshave a good battery life .
Fir the past few weeks ive been using ParanoidAndroid and lovin it cause of the Hybrid Proporties. but ... The battery upsets me . lol .
So what should i try next ?
Btw ReVolt was good but not as that great as PA.
Thanks yall .
Do not post best rom what rom threads its against the rules and will be locked .

I know best ROM thread are prohibited, but battery life is objective. We compare different phones' battery life all the time, why not compare different ROMs?
Because they always turn into pissing matches.
Battery life is subjective. I can get 15 days out of a charge, but that is because I let it sit on my desk. You get 15 hours because you are actually using your phone. (all examples are not true to the best of my knowledge )
ROMs and kernels need to be used and determined which is best for you, not me.
@OP, best to get your Nandroid on and test them for yourself.

hi guys i wanna know that what rom are you guys using currently, and why you like that rom so much, give info about the battery life or bugs.. im a cm lover but too bad its draining my battery so im currently on ics Stock and rooted and i get about 15-18 hrs of usage before charge.
Every once in a while somebody starts a new thread with a question that's slightly modified but is actually a 'what's the best rom?'-thread. Search for some roms that represent YOUR preferences the best and try them.
Thread reported.
Guys I have rooted my s3 since I didnt even putted sim in it.
I have flashed many custom roms and kernel.
some are good and some are very laggy and slow.
Also the performance and battery life on some custom rom and kernel are not very good.
I want someone to guide me with a perfect combination of custom ROM and Custom Kernel which has great performance and very good battery life.
Now I am using custom rom s5 sensation v4.0 with boeffla kernel 6.0.
Till now its working good and battery life is also decent.
As I stated up I want a perfect combination so that I can get very good free ram , battery life and performance.
Best Rom requests are against xda posting rules, as they can cause bad feeling. Try them yourself, there is no perfect combination only what is best for each individual.

Quote from Darth in this thread: [Battery Life Help] Troubleshoot battery issues here! (Noob friendly)
"Roms and Kernels:
I won't say much about this. There's those who will agree with me and those that always ask "what's the best ROM/kernel for battery life?". MOST experienced users will agree....ROM/kernel combos will make minor differences occasionally. Its all about setup and usage.....and signal strength."
Read the thread, you'll learn a lot about how to optimize your battery life
