Hi everyone,
I accidentally bricked my phone.
I hold the power button + volume down while the ringer is down(not showing red).
It brought me to at least 10 menu items and I accidentally selected one of the items(i forgot what it is).
Then it says
"sd download start..
read/write mount!!...
and after this factory reset starts."
Then it turns off.. I remove the battery and put it back(battery @70%).. When I press the power button, It won't boot...It doesn't show the DELL logo...I tried plugging it on my pc, but it won't recognize, and it only lights up the three buttons below but doesn't do a thing...
Please help..If only I could go to the fastboot...but it doesn't boot at all...
U have hard bricked your phone...only choice us to get it replaced/repaired at the service centre

ok so I'm new to this forum, was suggested to go here when i got my first smartphone.
So basically my idiot friends were messing with my phone with the pattern lock. They messed it up 15 times and now I have to sign in with my gmail. But the problem is that whenever I try to sign in, it gives me invalid username/password. I know I'm putting in the right password and right username because I've done it about a million times on my computer and tried to unlock my phone about the same amount of times. I've also tried all my other gmails that my phone is registered with but none work.
I'm still on stock ICS because im new to the android world and haven't gotten around to figuring out everything. Thanks for helping!
Okay first did you possibly have your Android debugging on? If not the only way us a factory reset. You can reset it by turning it off, hold down power and volume down. While holding volume down let go of the power. Then using your volume keys select factory reset and select with the power button.

Okay so first press down the Vol. Down button. Next press the power button firmly for 3 seconds. DO NOT let go of the Volume down button till a white screen (Your bootloader) appears. Then use the volume buttons to select factory reset (If it's not there look for bootloader or somthing like that) press the power button to select.
Volia your phone is now factory reset!

You should still get into the factory bootloader. I think it is turn off the phone, then hold down the power button and both volume keys. Then go to BP SBF Flash using down volume. Select that with up volume. Then you should be able to SBF the phone with a factory image that you download from somewhere using your PC and USB cable.

With the phone off, simultaneously push the power (same as lock) button and push in the middle of the volume up/down. Pushing in the middle of the volume up/down actually presses both up and down at the same time. Hold all three until the screen comes up to a menu. Should take anywhere from 10-20 seconds.
As for the post right above this. Good point. How was your battery level when you performed this? If it was low do as suggested and charge it.

the battery was 60/70%
If you are getting the boot logo then you should be able to get into the menu I was talking about.

Hi! i have a big problem! A friend tried to flash something on his x10mini and i think he bricked it and so i will try to bring it back to life! But its harder than i thought! The bootloader is unlocked! The device doesnt boot up after pressing the power button, there is only a short vibration and the screen stays black! I think, charging the phone with the charger doesnt work too, because no led lights up!
So i have tried to flash the stock firmware via flashtool! When i connect the phone to my pc with usb, the green led lights up and it is shown as a connected device in flashtool! But after 15 seconds the connection is interrupted for about 2 seconds! And this happens over and over again, so flashing something is not possible!
My next attempt was the repair function from Sony PC Companion! After pressing the power button + back button the software tells me, that there is no firmware available for the x10mini (and yes, i am in the repair mode )! But afterwards the green led stays on without this rebooting problem after 15 seconds, but this doesnt help me...
Is there anything else i can do? Or is it possible to solve this rebooting problem during the flash-mode!
Every help is appreciated! Thanks!
Use Sony Ericsson update service!! And repair it

Hello I followed the steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048776&page=1 I got to the point where it says "Please pull out OTG line and restart." I turned the tablet off and when I tried to turn it back on the power button does nothing. The red light comes on when plugged into charge. Tried holding home and menu and pressing power tried the reset button nothing does anything. Any ideas? Please and thanks. My wife got this from her parents but it couldnt do anything properly, wouldnt do flashplayer fake market etc so I tried to get it better for her and here we are lol.
I can't get out recovery mode every time i power my phone or plug into a computer my phone shows a a picture of a Phone and a Computer at the middle is a Yield sign... I tried going to Kies for emergency recovery but my device didn't pop-up. I tried calling Samsung and Sprint didn't do much. I tried holding up volume and power button at the same time didn't do nothing... Please help!
This should be in the q&a section. For info you need to hold down vol up, home button and power.
