[Q] Zoom and Tasker Issues - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone. I have been searching the internet for 2 days for a solution to this. I have not been able to find anything that helps. I'm curious if its a phone issue rather then an issue with the app. I am getting to know Tasker and love it so far. Used minimalistic test to set my unread SMS count. Then i ran into Zoom. So I have been trying to figure out how to set my unread SMS count as a simple text display in Zoom. It started out as a simple test widget to get used to the controls. But i simply cannot get it to work!
Can someone please walk me through step for step what I should be doing? It is probably a very simple step that I am missing but I would really appreciate the help. I'm the kind of person that is obsessed until I know how something works.....:crying:
Thanks in advance!

Minimalistic Text integration and some questions

Hey!
Just got my SGS2, it's really awsome
I'm trying to pull something, so help me out here!
I want Minimalistic Text to show me counters for my calls, SMS's, mails and whatsapp's. I know there is a way to use local variables or something like that, but I don't know how... is there a way to integrate MT to Traffic Counter or something?
In the same matter, I want MT to show my battery level as Accented when above 15%, and Non-accented when under it. Is there a way to do so?
Hope someone could help me... Android is great, and MT is great app!
Help, someone...?
You can use Tasker to create system variables with msg counters. Then, you can use it in minimal text.
Here is the xda thread about it:

[Q] Tasker Help - Simple GPS/NAV profile will not work for me.

This profile is driving me nuts. It can be found all over on the internet as it's quite common, but my phone will just not run it. I simply want my GPS signal to turn on when I open my good maps navigation, and then turn off when I close navigation. My psuedo code is below.
Profile: Nav On
Open app: Navigation
Enter Task:
IF %GPS ~ off
GPS set On
Go Home
Wait 50 MS
Load App: Navigation
END IF
Exit Task:
GPS set Off
Somebody please help me with this, lol. Thanks in advance!
Edit: I'm doing this on a Galaxy S3 and just came a cross a thread where other people are having probs specifically on the S3. I think that may be it?
Any tasker pros around here today? Still looking for some help.
Thanks!
Hmmmm...Anybody at least know of a better forums thats frequented by tasker users?
Is this even possible anymore? I get the feeling that it isn't...Still looking for help with it, links to better tasker forums/help, advice, news, information....ANYTHING!!! Please!
This will be my last post, and I give up.

[Q] APP - Missed It! Customization Help.

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but i need help with this app.
Or suggestions on a replacement app for a widget to display notifications;
- calls.
- sms.
- email.
- facebook.
- whatsapp.
Below are some screens of very cool looking uses for the app.

Ive read the FAQ, ive gone through the tutorial, ive checked iceagelabs' forum.
I still cant customize mine 1. to work, or 2. look effective.
The missed calls & sms output parameters dont even display on the widget.
And im just having overall trouble getting it to look good.
Any experienced themers with any suggestions or tutorials?
Or even suggestions on a replacement app?
Cheers.

[Q] Custom Vibration Patterns

I posted this in Android Q&A and it quickly got lost... so hopefully someone here will know. I asked in Beans' thread as well because that's the ROM I'm using.
Searched google/XDA extensively. Does anyone know the milliseconds used in Android's heartbeat vibration for calls? I want to mimic it for text messages in the AOSP messaging app.
This is what I have so far:
0,225,300,225,1000,225,300,225
It doesn't feel quite right but it's hard to adjust please help if you can! thanks in advance.
I got a vibration tester now but I still can't get it right.

Thanks! I haven't had this phone for almost 9 months but I really appreciate it -- I'll use it on my phone now.

Text Widget - KWGT?

Hey all, I'm looking to *hopefully* create a text widget to replace the one Android Messages took away with the last update... It looks like KWGT can do this according to their Play description. Anyone done this? I would love some help as I haven't ever messed around with KWGT. I will when I get off of work one way or the other though. I have no problem with paying for the full version of whatever either. Anyway, please and thanks!
