I'd put this in Android Development but I have less than 10 posts so here I am.
Here's my question:
I put Clockworkmod recovery on my nook. I don't know what happened or how to get out of it but it says "Key: 108" Over and over, I pushed everything and nothing works. Please help?
Anything would help. Should I just wait till the battery runs out or what??
Thank you in advance.
Hold the power button until your NT shuts off. After that, you could try booting into CWM again to see if it still does that.

Cool! Did you trying booting back into CWM again?
Just because you can't post in the development forum doesn't mean you can't post in the correct forum. Please post questions in the Q&A (Questions and Answers) forum.
Thanks

Hey all.
I got a problem. I opened Rom Manager and did the partition SD card thinking it was going to partition my external SD card.......well, I think it did the internal. Now when I boot I get to the GalaxyS screen and then the screen just goes black. Have to remove battery to reboot. I have tried ODIN to restore a factory image but it does the same thing. Anyone have an idea. How can I just format the internal memory to factory and restore to factory. Thanks!!!
There you go
Hey man... You're gonna get flamed for this, it's one of the things "everybody" knows not to do with RomManager, but since I did the same mistake back in time I'll help
First off: can you get into download mode? (turn your phone completly off, plug it into your pc with usb, wait for the "charging" screen, then press both volum keys + the powerbutton to restart, release the powerbutton immediately after restart and keep holding the two volumekeys till you enter download mode)
then flash this.
Then flash back to stock, or any other ROM that includes kernel...
/edit
And please read some instructions this time (couldn't help it, haha)

Thanks bro.
I normally read and research tons before I do anything. Just tried to rush through this one. Lesson learned.
I will read up now
Zero problemo ;P
Thread moved to the Q&A sub-forum. Please post questions in that forum from here on.
Thank you
I hope you were able to fix the problem.
I've been modifying framework-res.apk on my SGP, and when rebooting, it started to loop the animation of samsung.
Have been all night rebooting until battery has die, cos didn't be able to power it off.
XD
I want to know if a full unbrick is necessary, or if can be revive by using other method.
If you could post me a little tutorial of unbricking, I'll be grateful.
Pity me, I'm a little noob.
"Version" is YP-G70CW (International / Hardware button)
Lots of thanks.
Did you backup your rom?

Reflash it with Odin, and you needn't wait until its battery go out, just hold power button for more than 10 seconds to shut it down.
Ok.
I've been collecting all info about unbricking SGP 5.0.
I understand all steps but the last.
It says: Finally, reboot your device.
(lol) XD
I don't know how to reboot the SGP, or what combination of physical keys may do that.
Any one can iluminate me, please?
Thank you again.

Hold the power button until it turns off?
This shouldn't be in Development btw..
While on bootloop turn off by holding the power button for 3-5 sec until it shuts off. Then quickly hold again the power+vol up button for 5 sec. This should get you in the recovery. Restore your backup.

After i wiped my datas, it cant enter bootloader anymore, and i believed the ROM has been removed by me too.
I am sure my volume buttons are working, but when I trying to enter bootloader by pressing Power button and volume (-) button just like what I did before. It only shows "The device is unlocked" and logo, nothing else... and then the screen freezes
what should I do?
please help me!

If it's a specific rom related, in the rom thread, but you'll get the fastest responses in the general section. Good luck!

Can you try to keep holding the power button until the prime restarts and as soon as it flickers off hold power and volume down for 10-15 seconds and keep holding them.
Do you get anything at all ?
I just got the SGH i757m and i tried rooting with using superoneclick v2.3.3 but it always goes to not responding! So I'm trying another method from
"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707126" using Odin
however, my phone won't go into download mode, when i press power and volume down button, it just vibrates in a 1 second interval, and it just keeps vibrating... i tried holding on to it for a full minute and all it did was vibrate... i tried pulling battery out and retry, same thing! (or power+ volume up). When i let go, it just turns my phone on, thats it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I looked into this for you, you're doing everything correct holding volume - and power, should boot download mode, try holding lower on the volume rocker or try booting download mode having it already connected to you computer via USB....... If it won't work the only thing I can think or would be you have a different version of Android then what the original instructions were for. The thread you linked is your best bet on getting help, the last post was on March 28th so it's still active!!! If you don't get a response in that thread try to message titanic_fanatic it looks like he's helping people in that thread. Just make sure you understand everything before doing ANYTHING......... GL sorry I couldn't be more help
EDIT: Try this first, power off your phone, then hold power and vol- once you feel the vibrate let go of power keep holding vol- to see if it boots download mode? If not try to plug it in to your computer then repeat those steps. If you need help you can message me.

No problem, just be VERY CAREFUL when you flash any firmware (ROM), recovery or kernel to your phone. If you flash anything else other then the exact packages made for your phone you could end up bricking it....... With out a forum for your device it could be hard to get help if you need it. You can message me if you have questions, I'll do my best to help you. If you post questions in this forum all you'll get is "Wrong forum, don't you know how to read, noob, blah blah blah etc" just ignore them, just make sure you read and understand everything before doing ANYTHING....... I have just completed unlocking the bootloader, and flashing TWRP on my new Xperia X. After trying how the recovery mode (TWRP) looks like, I decided to reboot. But the phone is stuck at the sony logo. It won't respond to button press. No response when connecting the USB cable (it won't charge). How do I recover from this?
did you try holding power and volume up?

My apologies... I did use Google to search, instead of doing it from within XDA.
