[Q] Battery capacity? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

It's not that i am complaining or something but shouldn't the battery capacity for xperia P be 1300mAh?
see image in attachment

It probably gets its info from the build prop. The XS build prop says 1500 and its a 1750 battery. Its probably a Sony standard figure

Stock BST-38 battery is only 930 mAh, having 1500 mAh means it has roughtly 30% more capacity than the stock one. Go to google and type BST-38, and look up their mAh. I remember seeing a thread here on xda X10 mini, or X10 mini pro talks about some china brand battery doing pretty good and it was 1500 mAh.
edit: here, this is the battery that i read that is pretty good. http://www.dinodirect.com/sony-ericsson-s500-business-battery-1500mah-deji.html?cur=EUR
edit2: battery test result. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12127573&postcount=1
I've bought an 1400mAh 3rd party BST-38 and I can say: It's crap! This battery lasts 50% shorter than the original one.
I guess you're better off buying original ones by sonyericsson.
I bought a DEJI 1500mah batt from dinodirect, and can't notice much difference. Not that I have done any real stress testing though.
The handy thing is now I have twice the capacity just by keeping the spare charged.
Battery management is the key to keep your phone alive longer...
I've been using my K770's BST-38. It's 930mAh though.
@all any body tried 1500mAh BST-38 batteries for Sony Ericsson S500.
this stock one is sucks really.
That's what I was wondering...somewhere on the net I was you'd that the 1500mAh battery of s500 is compatible with x10 mini pro's BST-38...

you can use the batterys from the old W****i Walkman phones
but they aur too low
i found that s500 has same bst 38 with 930 mah not 1500mah
It wasn't the stock battery for s500 ...the 1500mAh one was manufactured by some random companies in China.

Battery problem?

Has anyone came across where the phone automatically shuts down even though says battery is at 60% and above even at 85% just force closes the phone system even had it where the battery light [red] flashes and have to leave phone off for a minute then it will turn on ok but them once it does boot after 1 min shuts down again
Tried battery calibration to no effect could it be the battery itself dying or could it be a fault with a kernel even though I've tried roughly 5-6 kernels and it does it all the same and on 5-6 different roms if anyone has any suggestion please don't hesitate I'm getting abit fed up of it doing it

hey dunc4n88, which ROM are u using right now?
If it's possible provide the link of it, so we can check if there any kernel update or error reported because of the same as you
I'm on ravij jb beats audio light rom with doomkernel v6 medium oc but tried loads of different kernels and roms and all of them the same I'm I've also noticed aswell I can't update busybox it'll update then once phone reboots it reverts back to old one

Ok I can tell you a cheeky trick to keep you going til new battery arrives
Place battery flat on a surface
Using a hammer GENTLY TAP AWAY until it's almost back in shape I STRESS GENTLY. Don't pop the cells
This worked for me while i waited for a new battery
That should push the cells back together
When u get new battery charge for no more than 2-3 hours at a time
Charging for a long time causes battery to Bleb from what I've heared

I can live with it for now just frustrating at times. For replacement battery should I go for same mAh on stock battery or go for higher spec mAh and what would be the benefits

nice battery, where did you get it?
Hey, i got this battery too and he didnt work for me. I had the same battery life as the stock battery.
LG
Ah,the placebo effect (or marketing interests?)...He has a 14% drain of battery from screen, less than half of phone idle, it means he did not use it as he says he did. If you do some research you will find out that there realistically is no way of getting more power out of a battery without increasing its size, there are some 1500 (advertised) capacity batteries which show that they are slightly bigger in size barely fitting in, but also on those users report amperes lower than what displayed...Many batteries out there are fakes...
My solution in battery problem
There is one viable solution from my point of view. Two extra batteries + charger. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-1200mah-...448706?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4ab2080042). It just works for me.
That was my setup with Xperia X10 Mini Pro! 2 Deji batterys plus the original! I think I'll go again for the Deji in my Mini Pro. I was very satisfied with those.
Here's the link
the bigger mAh, then bigger size the batt is. am i correct?

[Q] Battery voltage

Hi guys,
I am a Galaxy S 3 user.
I have been using DU battery saver over the past few days and i noticed that my battery voltage ( which is rated at 3.8V for the SGS3), is showing fluctuations between 3.8V and 4.0V. Is this normal ??
I also bought an OEM battery off ebay and the voltage is fixed to 3.6V. Do you recommend using the OEM battery or will the low voltage affect the phone?
A link to the app:

Thanks
Anyone?

Its against the rules, that you agreed to when you signed up for XDA, to bump threads before 24 hours of inactivity. Refrain from doing so in the future.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
OEM batteries are always my preference. They're regulated better (generally). Id rather have 2 OEM batteries or 1 OEM battery and a usb extended battery than a replacement brand battery. that's me though.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
As I know it is normal.
The voltage will be between 3.6 or 3.7 up to 4.1 or 4.2 , sorry I can't remember the exact number, but that's it
Usually battery capacity is related, 100% will show like 4.2 V, and if goes down 10% , it will drop to 3.7 V.
Maybe you should have done a little research on Li-ion battery, Wikipedia is good place

Thanks guys!
