Hello all!
I have a hard bricked Galaxy 5 and I asked me if the hard brick damages only the battery?
Should I buy a new one?
Thanks in advance
I think the battery is fine. Doesn't sound like the rest of it is though.

hey xda i really need your help i joust got a new galaxy note for at&t y rooted it made a backup and then installed a ics romow rom i hit the restart option in the recovery and the phone joust turned off and now it whont turn on it whont even get in download mode or in the recovery mode what can a do pleas help
Maybe a silly question, but is it charged? Does it show the charging animation when you plug it up? Try another outlet? Does the pc say anything when connected to the pc?
Also might be helpful to know what you used to root and the ROM used and to insure that you got it for the i717 and not the n7000.

U might need to pull battery
Then hold power button for 30 seconds or until u feel a vibrate

You will have to jtag your note or chance sending it in for a replacement. It wont power on because the firmware needed to do so is missing or bad. You will need special tools to jtag your note and you will need to do some research on How to take your note apart and where your jtag points are and needed program to write rom to your note.

Considering that there is no Romow from for the the i717 I think you might have flashed a ron for the n7000 and bricked your note. Not sure but just thought I'd tell you what I think is the problem

Sounds like we have a winner.......I think that is exactly what happened......just my opinion of course but I second this.

Yeah you flashed a N7000 International note ROM.. try sending it in or jtag it as mentioned above. You should have done more research before flashing.

Yeah dude Romow is for the international version. You flashed firmware designed for the Exynos processor on your Qualcomm equipped Note. Easiest way to brick. Now you know! Hopefully you can jtag it.

I hard bricked my atrix about a year ago and there was no fix for it then. Has anything changed?

Nope.
Its a hardbrick for a reason.
Sent from that Cius.
Actually Moto did pretty good job preventing unbrick and closing down sources.
Two thumbs up and best wishes for their quick demise.
Hello,
I dunno if it's my phone but it seems happening with all batteries : At some point battery will drop from ~50% to ~14%, recently it always happen @the same time : when the phone reboot. What does it make you think? Could it be phone hardware defect? Hope not..!
Thanks.
fuel gauge.

Its a hardware defect on all S2 handsets. Can't be help, sorry. Only advice I can give is not to reboot ( if below 40% battery).

Just out of curiosity, do any other Samsung users ie. Note, Note II, S3 face this issue with battery too?
Its happened on just about every rom i've used on my S II with the exception of one or two MIUI roms

They shouldnt, but i'll ask a few s3 users. This explains the huge battery drainage on s1 and s2: http://forums.att.com/t5/Android-Discussion-and-Support/Samsung-GS2-Battery-Issue/td-p/3268333

Hey guys I'm in need of an upgrade and I think the HTC One is the answer!
I was wondering if you could please give me feedback on your experience so far.
All I know about the cons like
Can't change battery
No SD card...
So how is the battery life etc??
Thanks

Battery is good almost as good as my note 2 if you really need the space you can do what I did and store all movies on a micro sd card then use a micro sd adapter

I'm coming from a Gnex, and I love my new One. Battery is great, so I no longer need to switch out batteries constantly (I think the Gnex was just a battery drainer). Super smooth, zero lag. Awesome speakers. I kinda miss vanilla android look (even though I was on CM10), but I'm getting used to Sense. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong with the One.
